BTCC 5k Poker Chip - 0.022BTC
I assume the crack in the case hasn't scratched or damaged the hologram in any way?

Hi Spazzer! A quick update- I received the mystery box from minerjones yesterday. Here's a pic of what I found inside: https://imgur.com/a/vCWVs5d Here's a quick run down of received inventory: - Bitcoin toliet paper
- BTCC deck of cards
- Bitcoin acrylic sculpture- it's heavily shrink wrapped inside the beige box labeled "BitcoinGallery.Art", so here's a clear image of what's inside: https://imgur.com/a/f1vzTaE
- Litecoin greeting cards x3. There is a LTC QR code on the back to load funds for gifting
- Bitcoin dice
- Physibit armband
- Bitcoin kimchi socks
- Bitcoin gold cufflinks
- Satori Coin
- CryptoVest Physical Litecoin "1 LTC"- First Edition (unfunded)
- Supreme BTC physical coins, "0.05 BTC" x3, brass, silver, and gold (unfunded) with hologram stickers to fund the coins
- Bitcoin bracelet with blue steel(?) cable and stainless steel components inside the green bag
- Bitcoin keychain
- Bitcoin penny
- Bitcoin plastic play coins x2, silver and gold colors
- 2017 Crypto Imperator Silver Coin (pre-loaded)
- Bitcoin gold pin
- Various crypto stickers
- Bitcoin t-shirt, Med size (fits me perfect!)
Here's a close up of "coins of interest": https://imgur.com/a/gKmtQJZOn the left is the 2017 Crypto Imperator Silver Coin, which has pre-loaded 0.01 BTC. 1/2 troy oz. .999 fine silver as described on the front of the coin. On the back is a hologram with seven smaller circles which seem to represent other coin designs for Dogecoin and BTC. In the center is a window displaying the firstbits of the public address. I'm not able to find much more info given the crypto imperator website is currently down. This seems to be the "1 coin" that is guaranteed as part of the mystery box and looks to be quite rare. If anyone has more info on this coin please let me know! The center coin is the CryptoVest Physical Litecoin "1 LTC"- First Edition, which is a very slick looking coin. It is not funded, but I'm not sure what is the value of the physical coin itself. I'll need to do a little more research. This also seems to be pretty rare. The coin on the right is a Satori coin (pre-BCH fork), which I know more about than the other two coins. There are many physical bitcoins that use the poker chip medium, but the beauty and thoughtful design that went into the Satori coin in particular just blows me away. The coin maker has suspended manufacturing operations since April earlier this year. This website describes the design elements in more detail (starting about halfway down the page): https://satoricoin.jp/en/index.phpUnwrapping all the goodies was a lot of fun. I'm still trying to figure out the relative value for some of these coins, but for now I thought I'd share for anyone that was curious. Cheers!

Hi- based on the serial numbers, these look like post BCH fork coins. Do you have any pics you can share?
Also, regarding the 5 minute sniping rule- would you consider extending this to 10 minutes? This is because for newbie (non-copper) members, we are limited to no faster than 360 seconds/6 minutes between each post. This means there is the potential for a newbie to be unable to post a follow up bid in 5 minutes if someone else immediately outbids them. I hope that makes sense.

You are too low on both those bids, current high bids are quoted by me in a post just higher. coincrag still in the lead.
I swear I looked at your quoted highest bids and then incremented above them. Must have just been in a rush, apologies for the invalid bid. Does that make coincrag the winner? EDIT: I see what I did, for some reason I was just looking at the bottom of Page 1, without realizing the thread had a Page 2, oops. Congratulations coingrag Thanks, Bill Gator! I see that Lesbian Cow has fired up a Round 2 "reprise" auction. I thought it was the same post until I saw the dead finger in the picture. I'll be sitting out- good luck on that one!

One way to gauge the "threat level" is by looking at Bitcoin's dominance in terms of percentage of total market cap. As of today, BTC has around 55% dominance over the rest of the altcoins. Back in January, the threat of altcoins seemed quite real and alarming while Bitcoin dominance was as low as 32%. Even then, Bitcoin continued to exist. One thing to watch out for in the future is if any altcoin overtakes Bitcoin in dominance. The closest one I've seen almost do it is Ethereum back in June 2017. If such an event ever came to pass, Bitcoin would still continue to exist.

"Mastering Bitcoin" by Andreas M. Antonopoulos is quite technical and may be overwhelming for someone who is not a programmer and new to the cryptocurrency space. I would recommend his other books to start: "The Internet of Money Vol. 1" and "The Internet of Money Vol. 2".

You know why it wouldn't be. You are acting as though there is no reason for anybody to hold any skepticism about your bid. We have been hurt in the past and you hopefully can understand where we are coming from when newbies regularly screw up auctions and raffles for everyone else.
It would be extraordinarily helpful if you were able to provide a signed message that includes your bid, username and date from an address that holds at least your bid amount for verification. This would ease everybody up a bit, I'm sure. We welcome newbies, but certain users prohibit them from participating in their sales threads, because they regularly come with more headaches than they are worth. Not saying this is the case, but if you are serious about your bid there are ways to prove it.
Hey I just caught up on the thread- I see I was banned, unfortunately ![Embarrassed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/embarrassed.gif) . I was about to get the signed message proving I have the funds over to Bitmainer 3.0. Please understand it takes time for me to move funds to an Electrum wallet just to get a signature working (Ledger wallet only signs old Legacy addresses). I get that people have been burned before, and it seems the burden is on the newbies to prove themselves. Anyway- I will PM Bitmain with the signature to verify and let him decide what he wants to do with the information. For what it's worth, I just met my obligations for another bid for minerjones mystery box 2 that I won: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5016495 Just look at the payee address transaction.

Is this bid considered valid ? Given the rank of the bidder, this bid should be secured to be considered valid. Or maybe OP, do you agree to sell to 2nd highest bid in case this one isn't honored ? Why wouldn't it be? At one point everyone starts off as a newbie. My ebay search for Satori coins brought me here. If we need more rigor around valid bids and users, then posting messages on a forum for a timed, online auction is probably not the most secure method. There's still over a day left for anyone to post a higher bid. So, rather than questioning if someone else's bid is valid, feel free to post your own bid if you're interested.
