41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the powerhouse of cryptocurrency on: August 31, 2023, 06:22:10 PM
Certainly Bitcoin emerges as the pioneer that truly changed the game, I found it amazing to see how the first Blockchain ever created not only gave life to a multitude of other cryptocurrencies, but also completely transformed our perception and way of transacting with money. Decentralization also has a profound impact on financial inclusion… I have seen that in many parts of the world, access to traditional banking services is limited or non-existent, so in this context, bitcoin can offer a viable solution by allowing anyone to With internet access I can participate in financial transactions and access basic financial services, of course, in some countries this does not happen, there is still a lot of ignorance regarding BItcoin, for example my country. That is why I have been trying to get more people know about Bitcoin little by little, to get them to become more educated about this technology.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin achievement on: August 31, 2023, 04:22:08 PM
I don't know what to really believe OP… On the one hand I would like to believe you because these kinds of stories inspire me about Bitcoin and I like to see how people succeed in their lives thanks to managing and investing Bitcoin…  the other hand there is the proof from Nwada001, and based on the fact that you said that you didn't know anything about Bitcoin, it makes me doubt if you really have a Bitcoin and also everything that you indicated that you have. I just want to think that if you invested in Bitcoin during 2017, but that you simply bought without know and thanks to fate the play turned out very well and that you are currently trying to learn about what you have invested in bitcoin... Which seems to me not very advisable, because you should have educated yourself before making any type of investment, that is called a little financial education. On the other hand, if that is the case, I am glad that your investment is paying off, although I imagine that you must have had a great loss when Bitcoin reached very low prices, I hope you have known how to manage your investment at that time and keep learning more about Btc.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Machine Learning and Bitcoin on: August 30, 2023, 11:48:43 PM

In terms of predictive analytics, I'm sure AI has been tried and tested to predict stock prices & etc, and failed. I'm assuming it would be the same with Bitcoin.

AI will have its advances and certain aspects that characterize it will be strengthened, but we are still far from seeing a joint collaboration with technologies such as bitcoin. It would be better to redirect this type of artificial intelligence towards a field of security rather than prediction, since the The truth is that these are based in large part on saving data that they supply or that they carry as they learn about the environment for which they were created, that is why it probably failed when it was tried to be used to predict prices, because these movements are totally involuntary, and they do not always have a constant sequence, causing the response of this technology to be incorrect by not being able to deduce the next movement... Just imagine, even the most experienced person in this area sometimes fails... for the AI it would be printing wrong answers constantly. For this reason, I think it would be better, if you want to incorporate AI into the world of cryptocurrencies, take it to the security area of the platforms where we decide to store our assets so that it acts as an impediment to hacking...I think it could be an alternative
44  Economy / Economics / Re: Another Coup in Africa: What is the economic effect? on: August 30, 2023, 09:25:24 PM
Analyzing this situation carefully, Gabon having the largest manganese mine in existence... It would cause the suspension of mining operations due to the coup could interrupt the world supply of this material. This disruption could affect global supply chains and potentially increase the prices of these products.

On the other hand, coups and political instability in the region may raise concerns about the security of investments and assets in these countries, which means that investors and companies may reassess their participation in the region due to the risks associated with political volatility and changes in government. In addition, foreign direct investment and trade cooperation in the region could be hindered, which in turn could affect long-term economic growth.... My only thought is that overall, the direct impact may be more limited due to because Gabon and other former colonies are relatively small in the global economy.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin movement: my thought on: August 30, 2023, 04:26:04 PM
I had never thought of that idea.. but thinking about it a bit large scale advertising through popular media such as football has the potential to reach a massive audience and raise awareness of Bitcoin among people who may not be very familiar with it. . Partnering with a popular soccer club could, in fact, bring more attention to Bitcoin and its use… Thanks to sports advertising being known for reaching global audiences.

I did some research and found out that other sports there are NBA, NFL and major league players accepting Bitcoin payments, this could demonstrate the practical use of Bitcoin in everyday life and increase adoption. The only thing I was thinking is if a football club is associated with Bitcoin and then experiences security issues or scams related to cryptocurrency, this could negatively affect their image and that of Bitcoin… They would have to know how to handle it very well.

46  Economy / Economics / Re: Is market manipulation a common occurrence everywhere? on: August 29, 2023, 10:53:59 PM
In the complex financial framework, the interaction between various actors and economic forces gives rise to a dynamic in which manipulation is very possible... Although the concept of decentralization in cryptocurrencies suggests resistance to manipulation, the reality is more nuanced, since the concentration of resources in the hands of wealthy agents can influence prices, since in an emerging market like this, some significant operations they can have a disproportionate impact, and considering that many cryptocurrencies are not decentralized and have little value, it makes the task of manipulation even easier

What kind of people are capable of market manipulation?

the type of people with the ability to manipulate the market is usually those who have considerable financial resources and deep knowledge about the markets...What is known as "Whales" These could be from institutional investors, investment funds, high-risk operators often even people with significant connections in financial circles..
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [JUST IN] Grayscale wins lawsuit against the SEC on: August 29, 2023, 09:30:20 PM
Very positive news Grayscale wins lawsuit against the SEC. For this reason Bitcoin huge pumped. Near about $2k increased within one hour for this positive news. I think for bull session we need more good news. One positive new is not enough for bull market i think. But for Grayscale wins lawsuit against the SEC this news bitcoin price will increase there has no doubt. Because it is big news for bitcoin. Luckily i was bought some amount of bitcoin last week. And now i am profited form that's investment.

It would be interesting to see such a series of events on an ongoing basis… What would happen to the value of bitcoin if this happened? Could it exceed bullish expectations?... I would like to witness something like this and see what happens, but I guess I'm just digressing... this news gave me an air of satisfaction, with this it can be seen that the SEC only wants to attack to everything that has to do with cryptocurrencies, but without necessary arguments to win, it is simply acting to see who can fall, but the only thing it is achieving is strengthening these cryptocurrency industries and more people noticing its existence, bitcoin now it will be more on everyone's lips and I am sure that if this perpetuates it is most likely that the government will begin to change its mind about bitcoin and the other cryptos to the point of implementing them.
48  Economy / Economics / Re: Good and Bad at the same time - Mega entities hold $ 14 billions in Bitcoin on: August 29, 2023, 07:21:20 PM
I really can't understand some Bitcoiners.
On one hand, many Bitcoiners want big companies, investment funds and banks to buy more BTC and pump the Bitcoin price. On the other hand, there are Bitcoiners, who are bitching and complaining that "the big whales are manipulating the market" and "Bitcoin is under the control of a few big corporations". What do you people want? Mass adoption(including from the big corporations) or less adoption?
Two of biggest centralized crypto exchanges are holding Bitcoins worth billions USD. Is this supposed to be big news? Is this supposed to be bad news? To be honest, I don't care. Holding 6 billion USD in Bitcoins isn't such a big deal. The BTC market cap and trading volume are way bigger.
Yes, those crypto exchanges might collapse like FTX. And so what? I never used them. The people, who are using them do this at their own risk.

As has always been seen, both in political parties and in those organizations where an agreement must be reached, there are always people who are in favor of certain things and not others, and this is due to the fact that each one maintains their own approaches in as far as specifics…many bitcoiners want mass adoption as this could help raise the market and the value of the coin, the other side would just like there to be more equiting and not feel,  like another force majeure as entities or people who own of large amounts of bitcoin, continue to control the system or in this case the market by having a certain domain to change the value situation from one moment to another, greatly affecting those who do not have considerable sums of this asset and of course to bitcoin at the time, because let's be honest, in case something happens to the money that these people have, the impact will be temporary, regardless of the amount, the question here is that everyone does what they want with its capital…just as you say...
Quote
The people, who are using them do this at their own risk.
If a company, corporation or a person decides to accumulate their bitcoins on an exchange platform in their problem, if someone has more capacity to invest  economically in bitcoin, than another why judge them?, If we had the opportunity, we would certainly think equal
49  Economy / Economics / Re: What did elon do wrong in Twitter on: August 29, 2023, 05:08:19 PM
Considering that changes in business strategies and companies' approach are common in the business world, and Elon Mosk is also known for making unusual decisions… It makes the idea of automating certain aspects of Twitter using bots might have been an attempt to improve efficiency... But clearly it didn't work that way and ended up bringing consequences. The perception of the inherent decline, I would say that it is because better platforms have come out, I personally have never liked Twitter... It is one of the most toxic places on the web. Lastly as to whether this could be another business strategy, it could be quite possible, we have seen that companies are often looking for new ways to innovate and differentiate themselves in the marketplace, and dramatic changes can generate attention and renew interest in a platform. …only time will reveal the true intent behind these decisions.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After all these years on: August 28, 2023, 11:01:40 PM
Clearly in recent times Bitcoin has been more popular as an investment and store of value than as a daily payment system... That is why the usefulness of bBitcoin in the approach that you want to give it as a medium of exchange continues to be a matter of debate and evolution in the community... we cannot take away from Bitcoin that its decentralization is one of its fundamental principles, and although this can make it difficult to quickly implement certain features or improvements, it is also one of the features that attract many users. Many believe that Bitcoin has found its niche as a form of digital asset and store of value similar to gold... But this was not the idea of Bitcoin in its early days, so this perspective considers that mass adoption as a payment system may not be the main avenue for Bitcoin and that its uniqueness lies in its ability to act as a decentralized store of value

sure, anything can happen, but the fact that Bitcoin is the only global means of payment that many dream of, I would say that I am sure it will never happen..
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When to invest in bitcoin on: August 28, 2023, 09:11:17 PM
Strategically speaking, and it is no secret to anyone that volatility in the Bitcoin market is an important feature to take into account when deciding when to invest... Many investors have found opportunities in bear market times, when prices are lower and they can get more Bitcoin for their money. But based on experience, it is also crucial to remember that the market is unpredictable and there can be risks associated with investing in highly volatile assets, what do I mean by that? That even when there is a bearish period and you think that it will not go down any more according to the analysis, it is quite probable that it will go down a little more. For this reason, I always recommend listening to the market, being aware of the Bitcoin news, who spoke well , who spoke badly... These are factors that you believe or not, end up positively or negatively affecting the value of any investment

The strategy of buying on a price drop and then selling when the market rises is a common tactic among short-term investors, but that is what most do and while they do have profits, they never become significant enough profits. A good advice, buy Bitcoin, save it and when you see that it has reached the maximum peak of its value, sell it and later, prepare to enjoy..
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting btc of tuitions payments for College/students? on: August 28, 2023, 08:02:42 PM
Is it possible in future students to pay tuition with cryptocurrency like btc or another. As we all know that only stable money can run a country, moreover btc price is unstable so you can't do that even if you want to.

If possible in fact some universities, have already seen this type of case of course, it is where governments have a little flexibility on the issue of virtual currencies, since if this is not the case, it may take a little longer This fact, and yet there may already be universities that allow this without having the approval of the government, they simply receive them without saying anything, all this will depend a lot on the laws and the order that is carried out for this type of management. But, even so, if there is the option of exchanging bitcoin for Fiat, I believe that life should not be so complicated, these assets can be used through this method and cancel the enrollment in this way until the bitcoin is accepted in its entirety in  countries around the world…why limit ourselves when this virtual world gives us so many options that it allows us to play with the system in the meantime.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Electric Supply to Bitcoin Mining Operations in Laos on: August 28, 2023, 07:22:43 PM
These types of events are what must be taken into account when you want to start mining Bitcoin, not only legal issues can prevent a good flow of these operations, a large part of the countries generate their electricity based on hydroelectric plants, located in rivers with large water capacities that allow supplying an entire country, and this despite being good since it is occurring naturally and sustainably, it can have its defects when climate changes become drastic and produce extreme droughts, reducing this process and causing electrical failures and therefore affecting mining......And of course other sectors considered more important such as hospitals.....

But even if this happens and the reduction of bitcoin mining in that country is not so compromising as to destabilize the general market, i believe that they can take other measures to be able to continue with their work and not harm the government's decisions as such, i believe that everything Anyone who wants to get involved with this work must be prepared with other alternatives or at least have another option to support this type of event.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: presuring someone into Bitcoin investment on: August 27, 2023, 07:59:03 PM
Often when it comes to investing, especially in Bitcoin, there is a delicate balance between presenting information and allowing people to do their own research and reflection. The ability to ask questions and conduct independent research is essential to assessing risks and opportunities before making a financial decision... I have also wanted to impart and teach people how good Bitcoin is, but certainly no one could be forced, you have to understand above all how it is economically, and lead someone to a risky investment because of how volatile Bitcoin is. could backfire, which is why patience and understanding that each individual needs time and space to consider and process information is part of good Bitcoin teaching.
55  Economy / Economics / Re: Having a problem a Personal Finance? on: August 27, 2023, 05:11:08 PM
The root of financial problems can often be multifaceted, and it is essential to identify it in order to take corrective measures, for this reason money management and discipline in spending are extremely important aspects, and it is true that proper management of personal finances can make a big difference in achieving long-term goals…Certainly Reading books related to personal finance, writing and reading about different topics here on Bitcointalk to gain knowledge and advice are good techniques to gradually build a good financial education , but the consumption of inspiring and educational content in the form of videos would not stand out much, some may be useful but the majority that I see always tend to fall into more spam than something useful, that's why I prefer the first two... Just like Also, surrounding yourself with people with a positive mindset and a constructive approach can have a significant impact on personal and financial development. I have a group of investor friends, we meet often and the exchange of ideas and experiences provides a good perspective and different advice that is good to take to improve more and more.
56  Economy / Economics / Re: Any business where today you launch, tomorrow you begin making profit...? on: August 27, 2023, 04:06:00 PM
Business is like solving a problem, seeking what the community needs and wants, and using those opportunities to open a business. One of the major mistakes of the people who would like to start a business is they sell the same product with the other competitor after they know its demand Well nothing wrong with it but does this is needed by the community along with you?
That observation can make you rich if you have the risk to deal with it.
There are some companies who get into an already big industry, by just fixing one slight problem and making a lot of money. Just to give a stupid example, how much do you think you could even make from making a water bottle? You would not make that much right? It's just a water bottle, how could you make any profit from it anyway?

But, the reality is that we are going to end up with a greater return for sure when you are talking about something like that new water bottle company that became huge success in marketing and I see all the people using it, they found something about it that made people love it, and they made a profit on it. It's that simple, do something new on an old idea and do great marketing for it.

Marketing is very important for any entrepreneur who wants to have a place in the world of commerce... have you ever heard a saying that talks about  people buy with their eyes?... the image of a product is very fundamental for companies sales, then quality follows and that what is being offered meets the expectations it promises, among other things... However...

It's that simple, do something new on an old idea and do great marketing for it.

It is not as simple as you say, since for everything to flow correctly and in a time... let's put it at least a year... this new business of good results and profits, must entail other aspects such as good financial monitoring, so that it does not goes bankrupt, many new entrepreneurs who could have been successful thanks to their good ideas end up losing everything because they do not know how to manage themselves correctly... Therefore not everything is as easy as it appears to be, many points must be covered for everything to work out well and be very consistent in the process.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I go with Bitcoin or Altcoins for the upcoming bull run cycle? on: August 27, 2023, 03:20:55 PM
Never have all your eggs in one basket. So with this reference, I can say you should prefer to keep your money invested in some solid projects including Bitcoin. Ethereum is a safe choice.
Never put your eggs is one basket is correct, but i don't think that idea should apply to diversifying into BTC and Altcoins, it is more logical to put those 'eggs' into other investments that aren't intrinsic to crypto, investments like Real Estate, Gold, etc.

Altcoins are 'wild' and if you haven't invested in them before, i may advice you to forget about that option. There are seasoned altcoin investors, Cheesy who know how to sell fast when it comes to the point of dumping, if you buy with them when the alts pump and help them pump the price the more, when it begins to dump, they will dump or sell on you before you know what's happening, leaving you with worthless coins. Cheesy

Some big businessmen and traders say that sometimes you have to take risks to win and this can be true to a certain extent and in certain circumstances, but with digital currencies I think we can see it differently... when we talk about risk, we can focus on this issue, as the availability to risk investing in these, the problem comes when you have to decide which of them, since the arrival of bitcoin many other versions of this called Alcoins have come out that have tried to improve the characteristics of the original but many of these projects have failed, so if we take this into account, it could be said that for many the best option is bitcoin, and it is with the only currency, which personally I would dare to choose for this bullish cycle and for any other time...

Now if my income is good enough, I would choose to do what you indicate, because I agree that it is better to play it safe where you put your capital, real estate and gold...especially gold...they are options that can provide security, I would definitely go these roads.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think we need to start asking people if...... on: August 26, 2023, 07:46:06 PM
It seems that the plumber had a pretty solid knowledge of Bitcoin and its advantages hahahaha. Which may indicate that you are more aware of current financial and technological trends. There are times when the person we least believe has great knowledge, the adoption of Bitcoin as a form of payment is not yet wide compared to traditional currencies... The volatility of the value of Bitcoin and the lack of regulation in some places can influence. . the willingness of people to accept it as payment... But I would say that the lack of knowledge is even greater, because most of the people I have asked about Bitcoin, none of them know what it is, the only thing is that young  observed that they tend to know more about what Bitcoin is and what it is for... It is fascinating how technology is influencing various industries and our daily financial interactions, I just hope more is known in my country.
59  Economy / Economics / Re: Criteria for Evaluating Potential Cryptocurrencies for Investment in the Market: on: August 25, 2023, 10:53:05 PM
That's in theory and what you say is not wrong, but if you look at the reality all the criteria you mentioned are useless. For me in the crypto market, apart from bitcoin being a trustworthy project, we can trust the technology and the benefits it brings. The rest, don't believe anything they say, it's all just empty theory. Do you remember projects like EOS, NEM, LISK...do you still see what value it brings to us? If I'm not mistaken, they have claimed to bring us advanced technologies that are far superior to what bitcoin has. But what have they done so far? And other altcoins like Sol, Near or Avax...where are they in this bear season and what has their technology done for us? It's all just cliché and useless. When investing in altcoins, it all depends on our luck, don't believe what they say.

I totally agree with you, Bitcoin is the origin, it is the source by which these developers have created other currencies with similar characteristics, but apparently with the intention of making improvements, and despite the fact that they have achieved this task, I  consider that they are still being tested, they were founded long after bitcoin, after discovering the potential of this popular asset, many took the initiative to see the flaws and based on that, create something much better, but despite the fact that They have managed to improve the defects of bitcoin in a certain way, they have not been able to overcome it, since the structure with which it was created is such that it continues to be chosen by many and this will continue to happen in the future as the adoption of this currency grow, its value and security will increase considerably.
60  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: El Salvador – Diplomado en Bitcoin on: August 25, 2023, 10:04:45 PM
