How can I write lets say -clkernel 3 for GPU 1 2 3 5 9  and -clkernel 2 for GPU 4,6,7,8,10

Thanks in advance.

***Also, I get slower hash rate with my 4GB cards. I guess that is normal with past the DAG epoch 235?

like this:

-clkernel 3332322232

It doesn't work.

how about this?

-clkernel 3,3,3,2,3,2,2,2,3,2

Hi all i have probleme with new version phoenix . With old version on all my r9 290 Trix i have 28  29 mh/s and now i have only 23 mh/s if a member have same probleme and he have resolve whrit here please . Thanks for your help .

What driver are you using?
What OS?
Did you let the auto tun run?
Did you change any settings after the last auto tune was run?

43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 4.0b: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: January 11, 2019, 05:17:44 AM
will you have support for ProgPoW?
Yes, absolutely. We will be ready for the future switch to ProgPow.

Need to enable the user to increase the check interval for -wdog, for example -wdogtime 90. Now it costs 30 seconds, sometimes it’s not enough
We will add a similar option in 4.1b, which will be released in a few days.

It should be noted that in this mode -clkernel 3, with the default setting -rvram video cards consume more power on average 2-4% and there will be more virtual memory loading, so maybe someone will need to increase it
Yes, depending on your overclocking settings the turbo kernels may consume more power. Also, you must re-run auto-tuning because the optimal -gt values will most likely be quite different for the new kernels.

Note that you must also re-run auto-tune if you have AMD 280/285/290/380/390 GPU, because of updated kernels for these GPUs.

any plans for kernal 3 for fury x or vega 64?

also the setting of etth (claymore lower limti of 50 being lowered to 25?) i think can help squeeze out some more hashs..

thanks

all that i can think of is nvidia driver is issue. tray latest so you can do at least cuda 9 or even try for cuda 10 see what happens.

Look carefully. Already cuda10..

Yup I saw but that is now several months old..

here is latest

https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/141169/en-us

Try it then see. Also do you have any integrated motherboard video cards? If so disable them.

Have you tried increasing the virtual memory to something higher? How much ram does this system have?

Also if they are just nvidia based cards try adding -nvidia to your bat.

Seeing your startup command line would help...

Thanks for the reply.

RAM is 12.GB, I added -nvidia unfortunately no luck:

Should be:

Also Ethermines page shows:
PhoenixMiner.exe -pool ssl://eu1.ethermine.org:5555 -pool2 ssl://us1.ethermine.org:5555 -wal YourEthWalletAddress.WorkerName -proto 3

I would try:

hi guys, im new at Phoenix miner, can someone help me with bat file, what to do to make my miner more stable.i didnt oc to much, i have rx 580 nitro and my oc is cclock 1150 and mclock 2050. and i also get this message, but i see my rig at pool. ''Invalid wallet 'YourWallet.DESKTOP-TJ077KR' specified for pool 1 from epools.txt. Replace with a real wallet' Thanks in advance :-)

this message just means you have no default wallet ID in epools.txt. If you have correct wallet/pool login in start up file then that can be ignored. If not then needs to be corrected.

in terms of stability. Let it auto tune first time make note of numbers then. add -gt x,x,x  (depends on how many gpus you have one x for each). That will in most cases give you decent speeds.

Ah thanks, i was bit confused with that wallet error. I double checked and everything was fine, but error was still there.

I have 6 gpu-s on that rig all rx 580 elpida memory. What should i enter for -gt?

There will be 6 different numbers for each GPU. It can take 5 mins or so before it complete autotune process. Wait until you get all of them. Note them and voila add to bat startup

Hi a few notes:

Using newer 18.2.2 or 18.2.3 AMD drivers I an not able to make clNew kernels to be used, i define them as 1 but they are set to 0.

this is for vega 64 and fury x

Also the commands -etht its lower limit is 50 but i think going to 25 might allow even faster mining.

Thanks

Anyone tried the new amd 18.8.1 driver yet ?

I have I updated to aug windows august update and AMD 18.8.1.

works fine

Any increase in hashrate after the update to 18.8.1?

Still running the blockchain drivers from last year and if they are hashing at around the same then I wouldn't bother to update them since they are stable enough running for the past 6 months.

i ve let it run now almost 24hrs, am finding it actually a bit slower. I think the new AMD optimizations in the driver may have reduced some phoneix kernel speed.

Showing user a higher hashrate requires basic coding skills. Im not sure if this "miner" even mines lol. Its about %70-90 slower than claymore's dual miner.

go bash and waste your time somewhere else...

It shows a very good hashrate, most importantly the pool where one mines shows  a great hash rate.

You get paid by the post to bash? PM is 3 to 5 %faster than CM... Also less wattage and less crashes than 11.9....

Anyone found a consistent fix for the Cuda Error 11?

I have 4 Nvidia rigs, 2x 1050 TI rigs and 2x 1070 TI rigs ( all 12 cards each ) and they are identical to eachother, but 1 rig just does not want to mine Eth ( one of the 1070TI's), always gives this error.

All identical Windows 10, 32GB page file, Driver 388.71 from December 20th with afterburner 4.5.0. 1070TI's both run identical OC settings.

I'm tearing my hairs out because of this one, i am an IT guy and really can't handle not being able to fix this Smiley

Are the motherboards all the exact same? Same bios versions? Also take a look at one that could be messing up. Check if using Risers you have the GPUs all firmly seated. I had an issue where once one GPU started acting weird and sure enough it was slightly tilted in riser.

I was using -gt 15 for 3 cards (480, 570 and 580) and now autotune found -gt 13,18,16.
Usually it is good idea to put them in the .bat file (or in the config.txt file, if you are using it). In such case you will need to run auto-tune again if you change the clocks on any of the cards, if you install new version of the driver, or if you try using the alternative kernels (-clkernel 2), as the best -gt values could be very different for the two types of kernels. It is also good idea to check if the -gt values are still the best if you upgrade the GPU drivers or install a new version of PhoenixMiner in the future.

However if you are restarting your rigs only once a week or so, you can just let auto-tune run at each startup as it takes only a few minutes.

Error fan at 3.0s, how to arrange (1060 card 6g, driver 388.13)

Dear PM I was just wondering what is differnece between Kernels 1(optimized)? and 2(alternative)? Are they specific to any type of GPUs?
Thanks

Hey Im hoping someone can help me out with an "out of memory" error I keep getting. I have a rig with the following build:
8 X NVIDIA 1070s
Asus H270-P motherboard
2X EVGA 750 PSUs
Windows 10
120 GB harddrive
8GB RAM

I am mining with PoenixMiner and using Nanopool and keep getting an error message.  (I have 2 other rigs built the exact same and havent had any issues with them).  Yesterday it was mining fine and the the program launched out, so I reset the rig and have been having issues since.  I was able to get 7 GPUs running before but when I plugged in the 8th card, its giving me an error code.  I tried switching out the risers and now am only able to get 6 cards working before the same error occurs  -- "CUDA error in CudaProgram.cu:377 : out of memory (2)"

MSI Settings:
Power: 64
Temp: 67
Core Clock: 0
Memory Clock: 585

Any ideas??

I have also 1070 gpus and i using 2x 850W PSU.

My MSI OC Settings are:
Power 65
Temp 76
Core Clock 0
Memory Clock 710 -> The only exception is one gpu because I had problems with this CUDA error. This gpu have memory clock 650 other settings are same.

Hello,

I have issue with my rx480 mining rig, it runs before perfect, but i ahve to change ssd, and after the new win10 installation, the miner stuck after detecting pools.

I use latest win10 ltsb, asrock h81 btco pro r2.0 mobo. Onboard display is selected, and gen1 also.
I see my cards at the device manager, also installed the chipset driver, but the miner cannot start.

OverdriveNtool also detect my gpus. Change the mobo and the cpu as well, it isnt solve the issue, any idea?
I think something missing, but i dont have a clue, out of ideas Sad

i have used various drivers from 18.3.4 to present day 18.5.2 all work well . Can you verify when you installed amd drivers did you do so as admin?
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Acorn M.2 FPGA based GPU Accelerator on: June 09, 2018, 06:43:13 PM
How important is pcie 3.0 4x bandwidth for this FPGA? Because I use 8 gpu riserless Onda mobos; the only way it'll connect is via m2 key host boards on Pcie 1x lanes.

Unfortunately if you don’t have any place with at least 4x PCIe 2.0 it will be difficult to use in the GPU hybrid role. You would be limited to standalone algorithms.

I would like to pre order
1 gig version please.

thanks

After autotuning, should I just put the found values in the bat file, or could it change from run to run?

I was using -gt 15 for 3 cards (480, 570 and 580) and now autotune found -gt 13,18,16.

I would put it in BAT. I notice it can change from run to run but usuually its insignificant. Once done use teh numbers  i would say.
