I'd say anyone who bought bitcoin and hodeled when their monitor looked like that oughta be pretty rich by now on 'paper' at least ... some conversion to fiat is necessary, just to be sure ...

sounds like you better don't invest in bitcoin if this confuses you already ...

New testament contains so many childish mistakes that it is not even funny. Apparently you forgot to do your due diligence before you started reading it 5 years ago. You would have saved a lot of time if you would have researched beforehand if it is worth reading or not. Bear in mind, God doesn't make mistakes and therefore a book that is full of them cannot be from God, not even inspired. You should go to the basics and study first of all the mistakes of New testament, then make your conclusions.
Both the old and new testament are verified to be, if not the word of God, at least the word of a SAME supreme intelligence in both cases.Google for more, the linked one is just the conclusion. lol, are you serious, dude? and by the way, where's the ORIGINAL text of both the OT and the NT? and no, copies of copies of copies are not good enough. especially not if they're from centuries after the originals and when the earliest copies we have all differ in some, more or less important, detail.

I just do not want to see the price of bitcoin back down. lol, that's endearing

I feel very shocked with bitcoin price. Just only more 10minutes, it reduces about 200$ . I have lost 20% profit after that. it's ridiculous, Guy. That's so boring. When does the price return back 1,100$? I'm very confused.
if you're that confused by this then maybe you shouldn't buy bitcoins in the first place ... ?

Do you think this huge 2-year long bull market is over? Is it bear time now? Your thoughts?
Yes, it is bear time now. it's overbought and it needs to adjust the price. it will be down for long term. it's the same as the chart of 3 year before. No hurry to buy now. and what makes you an expert on this?

I introduced a friend to bitcoin in 2016 and he bought 20 bitcoins at $455 somewhere in January 2016. He now sold all of them at $1005 per bitcoin. After bank fees and trading fees, he made a profit of about $10 000 in a year.
The best interest rate he could get back in January was about 10% per year. So his profit from bank interest would have been +/- $910 for 2016.
Even after Tax has been deducted for Capital Gains, he will still Net a profit of about $7000 for the year. He is a very happy chap now, and I got a expensive lunch out of this deal. ^smile^
#Disclaimer : These are calculations done by him, so I do not know how accurate they are. Just thought I would share it with you.
Would you risk about $10 000 now, to possibly copy his success? Those were very uncertain times, when he had to make that decision back then.
What bank offers 10% interest? Please, I need to know this. lol, yes

or do you just hodl forever?
thanks

I don't think that the halving has anything to do with current price surge, of course it affected general price but can't be motor for sudden pushes like this. It is general market attitude and its super bullish trend showing. All we need to know is that this not the end of upward trend, hourly MACD is suggesting more gains.
BUY!
are you buying right now?

Is there really a future for it? Where would btc be used instead of your traditional cashless money via debit/credit cards etc?
Debit/Credit money is not exactly cashless. It is based on the same framework as paper money is. It is the same system called FIAT money. Bitcoin is something else, it is transparent and finite monetary system. Of course it will be only more expensive over time - unlike every standard FIAT. Thank you for your answer. But in order for btc to survive, or even thrive, wouldn't it have to be used a lot (at least much more than today)? And what is the probability of that? I mean I have already bought small stuff with btc and it's neat because there are no fees etc for either side. But not many people have done it, I guess? And why would it be only more expensive over time?

I mean, why would the average user want to use bitcoin instead of Apple Pay, SnapCash, etc?
