How do you increase your node level?
You can increase the node level by running the wallet and allowing incoming port 19920 on your router. Developers, what's next for this coin?
Next is a wallet update with logo and security updates.

Nodes: 165.227.90.8:19920 165.227.45.13:19920
We need more wallets accepting connections on port 19920 please

I'm glad to hear the developers are interested in getting this coin on an exchange. We are at 92k in blocks.
The premine is only 19m.
At block height 100k, the rewards will drop and the mass distribution phase will be over.

I think this coin also needs a new logo. Recent popular logos are graphics that tend not to include the name. Black is pretty easy for color which would match NYC. I think an updated graphic would help.
Agreed! A new logo contest is underway: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3345714.new#new

That's great, we love the enthusiasm.
We'd love to see New York Gold on an exchange. We need more nodes first and some possible security updates.

In this case, it was not a corrupt wallet but someone who mined on the old chain. It's unfortunate that we launched code without testing it properly, but the result was that we changed the software rules at block 1699 and restarted. This was to make sure that the block rewards were going according to schedule. So technically, his coins still exist on another chain.. This other chain mines 100K coins every block, so it was not desirable. The result was an unexpected fork and since no one continued to mine the other chain, he effectively lost his coins. We thank you for understanding that this is beta software and we are experimenting with it and learning together as we go. The reason we can change the rules is because we have very few nodes. The more nodes, the less control we as the dev team have over the chain and it's rules. (Dencentralization)
Thank you, Team NYG

Ok, please type this command now:
getreceivedbyaddress NZMpK4dawhbZq4sEZa6GPyaMqqrkFYhQri
We'll also need a transaction hash from listtransactions that contains your wallet address. We are working on some better block explorers that will allow address lookup.
If you type the command getinfo what version do you see? Current version is 1000201.

Those are orphan blocks from the old chain that was invalidated. The reward was 100K due to a bug in the logic (which has been fixed). The chain was forked at block 1699 and anything before block 20 was invalidated. https://twitter.com/newyorkgoldcoin/status/979041606270627842Please update to the latest client version: https://github.com/newyorkgoldcoin/nygoldcoinhttps://twitter.com/newyorkgoldcoin/status/979048843831627776Currently it's still possible for us to make changes to the reward structure, for example if the community wanted to reduce the final block reward even further. We will not invalidate the entire chain again as we did at block 1699, but if there are any issues with the final reward that you would like changed, please post here! Once the community starts installing their own nodes, we won't be able to make changes like this so easily. We won't be making any changes like that without letting you guys know first. Please make sure to follow our official Twitter account for the latest updates: https://twitter.com/newyorkgoldcoin/

Try to find a transaction in that list that has a wallet address, then we can look at the wallet address on a block explorer.

It is very possible your chain data is corrupted and the coins are not showing in the wallet's front end - but that doesn't mean they are gone, so let's take this step by step!#1 - According to the screenshot you posted, your wallet isn't synchronized yet. Please make sure to fully synchronize the wallet. #2 - Please open the console by going to help, debug, console and type the following command: listtransactions . If you could paste the result here, this will show us where the coins went, or if they are still in the wallet but just not visible in the front end. Thank you, Team NYG

There is no issue with the wallet that would prevent angry pool from sending you the coins. We have sent a PM to angry pool and they have not responded.
|
|
|
Coins are not always coming hourly on Angry Pool. 2 out of the last 4 hours.... These hours are not paid. Or rather, they are paid again, and then the second payment is in the negative to my account and first payment is never received.
If the Angry Pool is not processing payments properly, please use: https://newyorkcoinpool.comPM sent to Angry pool, really hope they fix their processing! This is not an issue with the coin.
