41  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sites to play poker game on: January 20, 2022, 03:14:43 PM
I guess it is your lucky day OP since yahoo just announced that there will be an upcoming poker tournament in Betnomi. If you are confident enough to showcase your skill, bluff, and luck, then I guess this is the perfect opportunity for you to participate! Not only do you get to play poker (which is your main concern) but you will also have the chance to participate in a tournament and win extra cash/bonuses supposed that you win until the grand final.

Here is the link to the thread that Yahoo just created: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5382245.0
It seems not only a poker tournament was there that player could be benefited from it. There are a lot of bonuses, Cashback, and Rakeback which is a good advantage while you are a Betnomi player. Correct me if I'm wrong here but I think poker hosted on Betnomi has successfully done for how many times and  I saw their discussion about how they will win.

I would like to join but I feel uncomfortable that maybe I will lose. But that is right, Betnomi now gained a lot of trust from the community and I know it has fast result since everyone who have joined are good in poker.
42  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is the best crypto provider to give you advice on how to trade in crypto? on: January 20, 2022, 12:00:04 AM
Because there are so many crypto signal providers now, it's hard for me to pick the right one. Many of these crypto trading signal providers have a good record of giving out good signals, but some are only in it for the money. This is what you need to know about these people. So, which is the best source of crypto trading signals, and which one should you use to make money?
You've got already your answer.
Signal providers are for making money only and most of them are scams you should not trust them.
Just do your own research and never rely upon others' knowledge, the best source is on your own, that is the best weapon ever when you are in trading. Keep in my mind that trading is not an easy way of making a profit, you need to work hard on it.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: January 19, 2022, 11:53:02 PM
as far as I understand, they succeed very poorly, since it is easy to “pressure” an organization, but it is difficult to “pressure” a large number of people.
Yeah, the next big progress of gambling industry might be coming out from governments' side in terms of regulations. As long as people are preferring to have fiats as one of their payment options then casinos will go for license related things which again lead to get approval from governments; when gamblers stick within cryptos for their gambling, then casinos will be able to operate without need of government's nod which will eliminate the possibilities of government's intervention into gambling industry.
the government will definitely try to intervene in whatever falls within their jurisdiction especially fiat or crypto based gambling businesses located within their country. It's true that regulation from the government might be the next big step for the gambling business, especially since the government likes tax money from businesses that make a lot of money.
That is possible to happen as we can see that most industries that have to generate a big profit can be eligible to pay taxes and that taxes could be the source of the economy to boost the growth on it. So implementing tax and in order for the gambler to pay this, KYC is a must.
However, there are a lot of innovations aside from this and I agree with the metaverse that could be upgraded more also there are a lot of games that should developer paid attention to develop, from the traditional to the VR world could be possible.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in new projects? on: January 14, 2022, 08:54:44 PM
Turth to be told. My decision is based on the result of the research I made regarding the project that you are going to invest. Investing on a project base on your instincts is not a good example as doing that would expose you to great risk like being scammed or the project failed. I have seen a project start so well but didn't last long term and forced to close/shutdown/stop/abandon their project because of it. As of now, there are newly created NFT games because of NFT are trending that results in popping more NFT games.
Investors who want to take a risk investing in a new project is a gambler.
Because they wanted to gain profit in a short period of time which is very prone to fraud and scam projects. Trending projects like NFT or metaverse could be profitable but we must be careful about it upon picking a good one. Because we don't know how to determine if that is good for the long term and even in the middle of the campaign they will shut down and run away the investor's money. It is quite risks so I don't think I can gamble my money that way. So it's not easy, invest only of what you can afford to lose or the amount that can able to wait to pull out investment.
45  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Bulls Are Coming Back Soon, Are You Ready To Ride? on: January 14, 2022, 08:39:16 PM
You don’t just wake up and tell everyone to believe something just because you had the feeling that it is going to happen. Sorry that’s not how things works, rather you have to do your own analysis and give the reasons that’s good enough to prove that what you have said is accurate. This is not all about feelings, you don’t just believe things here based on the feelings of someone else. So, I am not really going to believe what you are saying, because this is not even the first time that we are seeing a move like this, it happened many times.

And moreover you are not even the first to talk about this, since last year a lot of people had been saying that the market would get above $100,000, and we haven’t seen that yet. I know there would be an increase, but all these ridiculous prices when the bullish trend is over? I don’t quite believe them. But it’s still good to keep holding.
You are right. Although there is positivity there, but i guess the timing is wrong. We are not yet even sure if bitcoin will make a consistent increase since the market is still in a big correction. For me, i don't see chances for bullish season this time as its most likely that we are even going to experience a bearish season rather than a bullish one. Of course bitcoin will still be in skyrocket after all of these, and no doubt about that. But for now, bitcoin is still struggling to surpass even the $45k price level.
The market seems very interesting since last week, I saw a big zigzag motion on it which is a potential spot for making a profit.
Though yes you are right that bitcoin price is unpredictable but I don't see any struggle happen here, I noticed that there's a big move jumping from $40k jumping into the price of $45k. But I agree that the bulls are coming soon and it will always come and I confidently assumed that the bitcoin price will reach $100k sooner or later within this year or another year because there is no time frame when it will occur.
46  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: A secure hardware wallet for Bitcoin ? on: January 14, 2022, 08:32:33 PM
This dude @Ratimov made a huge list of hardware wallets which has a list of prices, a number of cryptocurrencies supported and a review of the hardware wallets which I think will give a better idea about what hardware wallet you are looking for.

Find on this thread.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5282364.0

The most common and affordable hardware wallet is the Trezor one that costs only €59. But for the small amount that you wanted to store maybe Electrum is enough of what you need, I would rather choose this compared to others that you have mentioned above.
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any website without a dispute here? on: January 14, 2022, 08:23:10 PM
any casino no matter how honest it is in the world will have some dispute, even if that dispute is the fault of the customer and not the casino. so it is almost impossible for any casino not to have a dispute eventually because as I said the dispute may be that the customer is wrong and does not conform, but I have also seen a problem that to this day is the main reason for disputes, I speak of the TOS of casinos
That is exactly the main problem here because most of the gamblers didn't read the C&S/TOS before using the gambling casino and the result could be a dispute. Most all the time it is the fault of the user which is the user didn't know about the violation he made because he didn't read the guidelines of the casino. It is a common complaint that we have heard here are banning/suspending account because of using VPN, accusing multi-accounts, delayed withdrawal, and KYC problem.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do Casinos ask for so much during withdrawal? on: January 14, 2022, 08:13:40 PM
You generalized them and I think not all of them have the same problem when it comes to withdrawal.
Maybe before you will use that gambling platform ask first their customer service about this issue and make a clarification regarding this matter to avoid this trouble the next day. All in all, we should need to read the C&S first and then the FAQ because I'm sure there will be frequent questions there that we should know before using them.

Another reason could be, if the gambling platform has this KYC for sure they also follow government protocol which is anti-fraud or money laundering especially if you deposit and withdraw back just the purpose to mix your coin. Think first about the wager requirements before you do this.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know when to buy and hold on: January 13, 2022, 04:23:29 PM
I don't know about you but for me I will only hold coins for long term if we see a unforgiving bear market ( better buying opportunity ), I believe bear market hold the key to long term holding, I can't buy coins at high price sorry ( present market is buying at high price) and decide to hold for years, I will only buy now to sell later ( short term ).. stupid idea? Let's hear your thoughts
It is a good point to buy and hold a coin but make it sure that is bitcoin, not the altcoins.
There's no one will know what is the exact point of buying bitcoin and selling on it. For me, as long as there is a profit while holding in a long term, that is good enough. Because bitcoin is a good investment and it is preferable upon holding in a long term.

Just buy and hold, that's enough. Maybe 4-5 years will have the potential to gain more.
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Huge crypto scam that happened last year(2021) on: January 13, 2022, 04:17:44 PM
Many have been doing this exit scams and rug pulls in crypto space. And the thing is that there are still being attracted in this projects when it's already screaming scam from the very beginning, just like the Squid Game token.
It is obviously a scam but why there are still a victim of this fraud project.
Maybe because of their attitude that willing to take a risk just to earn and hoping it will gain profit for how many folds but they didn't think that it could be there are on the trap already. We shouldn't take gambles on the new projects, always check their legitimacy, their potential, and the most important is the usage of the project itself.

At least they know already about them, their characteristics that the reason we avoided them. Never fall on their trap.
51  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My new year advice to crypto newbies on: January 13, 2022, 04:09:38 PM
<...>
8. Not all coins and tokens you hold will do well in few years time, the unexpected can happen to good projects with good utilities too
Bitcoin is totally different from altcoins or tokens, you can expect in holding bitcoin in a long term than the altcoins or tokens, it could be hype or under the pump and dump so we still are careful on it when it comes to investment. For less risk of investing in crypto, I think bitcoin is something reliable among them all which means less risk.

The overall advice is good and we do hope newbies will do take note of this very informative thread. It proves that a newbie should learn first before diving into crypto investment.
52  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we need bitcoin... on: January 13, 2022, 03:50:27 PM
I fully agree with you on why we need bitcoin in today's world. Printing unlimited amounts of money is a sin by politicians. Having the opportunity to create money out of nothing removes the need for a balanced budget. Every year the government makes a plan for the upcoming year and how much they are going to spend. They are fully aware that they won't meet their own targets. Spending more money means making more voters happy. That is why we finally need a currency that is independent and can't be touched by politicians. The more we invest in crypto currencies the more we show the government that we want more control over our own money.
Sounds good but let's accept the fact that traditional money won't be vanished by bitcoin, they will remain both important to us.
The word of global payment system which is the goal of bitcoin doesn't meet because they think that bitcoin is good for storing the value, not for the payment system. Then, speaking of assets that you have freedom and have full control of your asset, bitcoin is suitable when it comes to that matter, you can store value and wait until your money folded for how many times.

I totally agree with the OP and that was right, we know how important bitcoin is and how useful it is.
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC has crossed $43k what's next? on: January 13, 2022, 03:37:14 PM
BTC has crossed the mark of $43k after a while and will it pump further towards $50k and is this the buy in period or else it will once again dump and stay around $40k for some more time? IMO there are more possibilities of bitcoin recovering from recent correction and March towards $50k which will send green signal for entire crypto market and we have even noticed it's positive effect today on top altcoins, what's your take on this?

Bitcoin is currently moving up. I think its value rise to $50k. Great forum!!
More than that and I'm thinking of too much bullish now, but there's no accurate prediction as we all know since the bitcoin price is unpredictable.
But if you will have research regarding fundamental analysis, the result could be bullish because we have big investors around that have been recently published in news about their bitcoin adoption.

So, therefore the $50k bitcoin price is not impossible but we can't determine the exact price when it will happen. Much better if we keep holding our bitcoin as we know the price would be raised soon.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting or casino? on: January 12, 2022, 11:59:19 PM
It's really hard to make a profit when you are fighting against the house edge as we know the house will always win and the majority of gamblers has been always a loser. I will go on sports betting and other games that did not base on luck and the chances of winning a high compared to the house edge.
But sometimes, I have spent time in the casino, playing and beating the house edge will become challenging but I don't have to spend too much time on this because I still prefer on the skill game base.

The casino is just for fun and if you are looking for a good profit betting is good for you.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best gambling site in 2021 on: January 12, 2022, 11:43:32 PM
The best betting site is conditioned under many criteria, where many players take into account many advantages that some other casinos have, such as the withdrawal fee, some do not charge that fee, others that stream, others offer more games Every week, some are in constant contests to attract more potential customers, especially what is most sought is that the advantage is equal for the whales of the casinos as for the small players, in general terms, for my personal criteria, the best are stake.com and bitcasino, for now it's just my criteria.

It's well said and I'm into your criteria.
Usually, as users, these criteria will consider us as the best gambling casino, through promotions, contests, and the services they have, that's how to determine a good gambling casino but first, we should consider first the reputation of the casino. Because of this reputation, it will always be good a sign that your fund is safe to entrust that gambling casino. However, every gambler has their own perception in choosing a gambling casino and we have different like and dislike.
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't bet more than you can afford to lose. on: January 12, 2022, 11:32:33 PM
When I hear about the rate of losses in gambling and most casinos, I'm always inspired to retardation on several occasions.
...and I keep asking myself, why was these idea invented at first? was this not to help most people exercise thier passion for gaming, with thier money and also give them some kinda liverage as ends meet? ...it still remains an unanswerable questions but on the contrary, people have discovered they only help the company make money from their pockets so they don't indulge to get something in return; they play just for fun and I don't think any sane person would rather prefer to stake millions over his worth just for fun..... Grin
It's always advisable to understand what you're doing ....
We can't blame them, people do gamble because of dual purposes. While having fun at the same time hoping to make a profit and maybe that's the reason why they keep gamble. You can even buy popcorn and drink while watching movies in the theater while having fun, the same as gambling, but while having fun there's a possibility that you will make a profit from it. So the problem is if you didn't put a limit, it should be spending the amount that you can afford to lose only.
57  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are the best ways to choose a casino on: January 12, 2022, 11:07:05 PM
Hello am new here and am interested in gambling but with the rate of scams casino I am finding it difficult to know the right site that don't scam players?
You have found a better place, a gambling community that talks about gambling fairness, quality of service, about their license and their reputation which is the more complaints has the more people here will raise the flag and give the negative tag to the gambling company's profile to bring awareness from other gamblers.

Here is how to determine a scam casino, look to their announcement thread, and have deep research, there should be good comments and reviews from other members and avoid using casinos that the participants of their signature campaign have a red-tagged on their profile and their manager has a red flag and red tag on their profile. That is an extremely scam casino.
58  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: KuCoin vs Binance on: January 11, 2022, 09:36:33 PM
I used both exchanges, Binance and Kucoin but when Binance put heavy KYC requirements I decided to use another exchange and I choose Kucoin because this is not strict when it comes to KYC procedures. But there are traders who always matter on the reputation, they will not engage to an exchanger that has dozen of complaints against them and KYC isn't a problem with them.

The reason my friend wasn't left behind on the Binance was that he like those features have, the high trading volume, the fast and easy withdrawal and to fund the exchange site online. But I noticed even Binance was put heavy regulation on their own and we hope someday.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Establishment of an organization for victims of Bitcoin fraud. on: January 11, 2022, 09:26:52 PM
Creating a group or community for victims of fraud is kind of like creating a lighthouse and point scammers in your direction.
Sounds good but for me, that isn't necessary if you know how to protect yourself in the first place.
We don't know either if one of your communities that has been joined there's a wolf waiting for a chance to have a victim, it seems still quite risky because it's a random people who joined and it means you can never trust them. Instead, they help a chance they became a scam.

It is always good if you are knowledgeable enough about this stuff before you will continue adopting bitcoin, taking care of valuable assets isn't just easy.
60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pros and Cons of Gambling on: January 11, 2022, 09:02:05 PM
Gambling is too risky and the pros and cons depends on how you see gambling, but in general gambling are more on the cons since its more on expense than profit which is no guarantee at all. We cannot say gambling is profitable since luck should always be with you and the probability to win on many games is very low especially on slot machines. Know how much risk you can take with gambling, list your own pros and cons and assess it properly to know if its ok to keep on gambling or not.
Exactly, most of them are cons which is very risky on us as gamblers.
In this way, we should put a limit on ourselves most especially when it comes to financial managing which is will be going to ruin your life once you can't control it. As a gambler, these pros and cons are always considered should have full awareness. Be responsible always in gambling because it could destroy your life once you will there.
