Hi i am looking for someone to make a couple of changes to my site, i'm looking to get google wallet added as a payment method also and a couple of cosmetic changes
let me know if you interested and a rough quote in Btc
I can help you , but you will need to be more specific. Your website link would help and also what are "couple of cosmetic changes" specifically. It's hard to give any quotes without more specific info.

Doesn't really matter what time it is, the point remains that with a single piece of HW you won't reasonably cover all you need to cover in a reliable way.
Also, how about the receiving parts on land? How much would one cost to buy?
And lastly, is it really useful to have one-way communication? The amount of transaction data is quite low, it might be beneficial to do a two-way possibility to get Bitcoin anywhere, even without internet or electricity (solar).

I share your idea bro and to be realistic i have taught about this couple of times, but here on bitcointalk you cant get anyone here to do any project people here are made up of broke bitcoin users and a'lot focus on the software and design aspect for a one time penny not all Bitpay made it very far and some-other online present bitcoin service providers but the main place to spread bitcoin out is via hardware something like this in shopping malls, even in a bar there can be section to buy beer automatically via bitcoin, just scan the the "code" and pay via bitcoin, after 1 confirmation or so order delivered this can work and people will try to figure out why we different.. Anyways i am talking to some manufacturing tech in japan on this i will keep you updated on the progress after i get a good quote, the main problem is that the machines is expensive and they have to be shipped around the world to make it heard...
What makes the vending machine expensive? It's sure not the display. Things that count bills cost up to $300 retail. What, specifically, is it?

The problem with escrow release on delivery that is you can ship an empty box, a brick, etc. Until tracking includes an x-ray of the package... escrows can be scammed like BitMit was in its final days (empty box, flat rate USPS priority).
Yup I know it can. Some sort of trust score/feedback needs to be in place. So that you know not to trust more that $30 worth of bitcoin to someone without any past score.

Please, take your cyber begging elsewhere. This is a place to people discuss subjects related to the Bitcoin software, not a free venue for Internet panhandling. Thank you.
Augusto, I don't find this post relevant. Organizing donations is a project like any other, and probably more helpful than most other stuff here.

You can close the escrow when tracking number says it was delivered. This can be automatized. For most carriers. The rest are out of luck :-)
You still need some level of customer service, but it can be decentralized. It can be in a form of taking a 1% transaction fee, and then distributing the total amount of collected fees automatically between volunteer customer service (based on activity) and volunteer developers (based on GitHub activity), etc.

Awesome!
Percent dip buys might not be a great addition right now. I am trying to think of some other tools that could help. However, barebones-to-the-point websites are sometimes the best.
I hope this project gets more attention. It can be very useful!
Sent you a tip! Thanks for your work!
Thanks! Right now we have about 22 users.

Not sure if anyone brought this up, a satellite orbits earth about every 90 minutes, meaning we'd get connection for about 30 minutes when it's around and then silence 60 minutes. But likely there's some option to rent something "cheap", low bandwidth on a global level.

Yeah one can be pretty flexible without a daytime job :-)
I guess the next thing then would be to update the price each couple seconds
To do the percent dip I would need to keep track of some price history. I'll look at that later
Price is currently updated and orders checked about every second. Is there anyone else who would benefit from orders based on percent per minutes drop? Or any other thoughts?

I would help you out. The only thing, I have zero knowledge about environment in Venezuela. But the coding I can do easily.
Check out my signature.

I believe in bitcoin and space travel ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) BUT! I don't believe that we need these bitcoin fiat processors. They will replace the banks, but they do exactly the same. With Bitpay we have even more middleman than in the fiat system. Bank -> Exchange -> Bitcoin -> Bitpay -> Exchange -> Bank (Bitpay) -> Bank (Merchant) It's true this chain is terribly long. I think it will get shorter over time, eventually resulting in just "sender -> recipient", if we're lucky. But this will not happen tomorrow. Hopefully more companies will also accept Bitcoin directly the way Virgin did.

Not sure why they only accept Bitcoin for orders shipped to USA. Isn't Bitcoin exactly the thing they need for smooth international orders with no chargebacks?
Any reason not to accept Bitcoin internationally?
Perhaps the US is the test market? That's what I thought, I'd expect them to extend it to international soon.

BUY BUY BUY!!
Everyone knew they are going to accept it, I don't see why people should panic buy right now.

Thanks for heads up! I made it responsive for mobile and added the password/profile change thing. I also added the price in header.
% dip/time - why not :-)

I'd like to get involved in interesting projects. With Bitcoin, we're writing history and I'd like to add my part to it. I'm good at making a minimal working prototype fast and then iterating from there on. A little web app I wrote: http://coinbaseorders.com/ and https://github.com/tomholub/coinbaseorders . Total time including debugging, making it secure, buying a domain etc up to having first couple users: 30 hours. I have technical background, but by heart I'm entrepreneur. Running a local business in Carson City, NV. I'm mobile enough to visit SF and LA frequently. I'm interested in projects with strong vision, both for profit and non profit. You can PM me or reply in this topic, maybe other folks would like to jump at your offer, I don't mind.

This is a good example how it can be useful, the dip that happened last night. I got two discounted coins. I also had order @ 820, and this one did not get triggered, I suspect it was at that price for just a couple seconds. In about a week the app should catch these fast swings too. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fcoinbaseorders.com%2Fimg%2Fovernight-dip.png&t=663&c=M59KINsZ5ExD3w)

Donated. Maybe we just need to wait for Bitcoin to be worth over $10,000.
You just don't reject a $100,000 donation from a fan community, do you? :-)
I currently have a monthly subscription with Wikipedia and I'd much rather donate once a year in Bitcoin.
