please give me more information,I will keep an eye on this, good luck!

I think you are still too early to invest. ICO starts on the 10th and no ICO information is available on OPs, so we are still waiting for more information.

There are 5 more days to start the ICO. You can viisit on 9th and see the updates in the OP. Sure, the dev will post all the needed post in right time.

Thanks for all the info about the airdrop.

The gift cards feature is a nice addition to the 2give project. Glad to read this thread today.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 03, 2016, 12:49:15 PM
from mxxxxx slack
mainnet is being privately tested from yesterday, wallet 1-2 days

mx [3:43 PM]
lite wallet which you can run locally on any device with browser(for now latest chrome recommended), it will be also downloadable from appstore, after you get wallet you need to generate your address, edit your ICO account and add it there, then you will be withdrawing from ICO site with email confirmation like on exchange and remember check everything first 10 times, secure your wallet properly, exchanges on 14 June, there is a lot of time

Let them take enough time to test everything. Don't push them to rush to release anything. Lot of time is available for them still.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PSP] POSPRO - POW/POS - www.pospro.link on: June 03, 2016, 12:47:32 PM
PSP didn't hit any major exchange so far. This is a concern for now. However, a community is in here. Needs more PR & marketing. This is one of the long-time holdable coin.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 03, 2016, 12:39:45 PM
Anything new from facebook campaign , newsletter and signature ? I didin't receive anything yet ...

will everyone please stop crying about these freebies?
Why? Roll Eyes

Becasue answers were posted like 10 times on every page and it is said before 14th. Now before 14th, that answers it all, gives them the time. Yet people keep asking every day.

Answers were posted more frequently, but pages keep increasing more more and more frequently in WAVES.

This thread is mostly dead. ION moved to some other space I think. Why dev is not responding to questions asked by the people here?
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [2GIVE] / "AIR DROP" UPDATE / NETWORK COMING UP TO SPEED on: June 03, 2016, 12:28:54 PM

How can one join the airdrop? What are the instructions to follow to be part of the 2GIVE airdrop campaign?

Welcome Future Stakeholder!

1. Download the 2GIVE wallet software:

http://2Give.Info/#download

2. In the Options menu enable:

"Compete for block rewards by mining (POW)"

3. Leave the wallet running in the background

2GIVE takes on average 1-2% CPU so it's safe to leave running 24x7 !   It is unlike any other crypto out there <3

Thanks for the instant reply. Just downloaded and syncing. What is the outcome of following this steps. Do I see coins in my wallet generated every 1 hour?
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [2GIVE] / "AIR DROP" UPDATE / NETWORK COMING UP TO SPEED on: June 03, 2016, 12:20:24 PM
Looks like the SNF "air-drop" has succeeded at powering up the chain to a point where it's self-sustaining at a minimal rate.

We weren't sure how many people were going to take the block rewards and run off to the exchange so it's very encouraging to see those POS blocks popping in the mix on the block explorers <3

To be clear, we designed 2GIVE to support BOTH stakeholders and miners to help secure the chain -- and the exchanges are a necessary (and welcome!) part of our ecosphere.

Transactions feed the miners -- and they have to create transactions themselves in order to move their coins to the exchanges which in turn, creates more rewards for others to earn.  It's a beautiful cycle ;-)

2GIVE re-levels the playing field for everyone again -- there is currently NO ADVANTAGE for a pool to operate and no known way to leverage ASIC's or GPU's -- just run the wallet and turn on "compete for block rewards".  THAT makes this coin unique.

"2GIVE makes mining fun again" is one example of the kinds of PM's I'm getting here and on FB.

The "air-drop" is going to continue for the foreseeable future!

We've adjusted the cadence now from every hour at :00 and :30 to now at :15 and :45 minute marks to help fill in the the future POS blocks for stakeholders to build chain momentum for block confirmation.  This will continue for a month and then we'll adjust the window again.

Thanks again to you, our stakeholders for helping secure the 2GIVE network and for your continued support!

It's Better 2GIVE!

-dvd

Congratulations! Glad to hear the airdrop is still going on, although I've had very little success so far with my two nodes

How can one join the airdrop? What are the instructions to follow to be part of the 2GIVE airdrop campaign?
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PlatinumBAR XPTX - Rare Cryptocurrency with PoW / PoS on: June 03, 2016, 12:17:57 PM
Huh Bitsquare, who will use it? There are no transactions and too much commission. We need access to major exchanges.

Bitsquare is new and people are just learning about it.  Major coins are included in the software and they don't have a lot of volume either.  A major exchange would be a nice addition.  Probably happen after we launch some of our new features which are currently in progress.

No trading volume, prices have been falling. Huh

You have BTC surging, LSK, TheDAO, etc. all taking up people's attention.  Added, we haven't ANNed any new features yet.  Things take time, people are picking up cheap coins - me included.

Me included also. Still holding, staking and waiting for some new features!

XPTX is a good coin to hold for now. Mine, stake or buy. Price is very cheap. XPTX community needs more PR support and dev support to deliver more to the community
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: whats is the best platform for alt coins trading? on: June 03, 2016, 12:15:58 PM
Answer needed from altcoin experts
You do not need an experts advice it's pretty obvious Yobit and CCEX are two of the best trading flatform, had no problem depositing and withdrawing my funds,no to mention the many coins in their data base ..

But of course you need to experience trading on their flatform to prove it..

What do you mean by flatform? Are they related to altcoins by anyway? I expect more explanation from you.

If you're a day trader, poloniex and bittrex are good choices. If you're not all new releasing coins and want some quick profits by dumping into the first day of hitting exchanges, then yobit and c-cex are the best.

53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XRE] Revolver Coin - A rockstar among altcoins. New Algo. Fair launch on: June 03, 2016, 11:56:04 AM
Cool coin. I definatley see short time potential is this coin and would assume it's going to be listed on an exchange soon.

aren't you the dev of neptunium, you should care more about your coin, which seems to be dying off

Both of these coins are good coins in my opinion. Both needs good PR for more people to look into it. Right now good opportunity to mine and stack more XRE before it hits exchanges.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KUBO] KUBOSCOIN -PETAHASH ICO WITH POW/POS -FAIR LAUNCH on: June 03, 2016, 11:47:39 AM
PSA: Keep clear of ICO coins without any whitepapers, new specs, new innovations, unless you are simply in for the pump and dump too, although there is a high chance dev will run the moment coin is released with ICO funds. Remember ICO is Idiots Conning Opportunity

I do agree the same. But ICOs can be made to happen. You need to make proper announcements, details and implementations and concerns about the coin, technical specifications, dev team, marketing team, the way you plan to collect funds and run and many more info that you think to be listed.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 03, 2016, 11:40:18 AM
I am waiting for a deposit on yobit. All the other IOU's they have on there have gone up to 0.02BTC up to 0.1BTC. Currently it is 0.0026BTC. So I am hoping to turn 1BTC into 8BTC by trading the IOU's on yobit.
Its a no brainier for me but we will see.

what you guys think?

If you're a trader, you can trade any coin. Then yes to trade IOU also. You can buy at lower price and sell at higher price.

Right now what you can do is, deposit btc to yobit, buy some IOU and sell at higher price. Then withdraw btcs. The IOUs you buy are not transferable.

You cannot send Waves tokens to yobit now, as there is no wallet for WAVES yet.

Once you buy IOUs with your btcs, if you can't sell at higher price or any delay to sell all your IOUs, then you will be the IOU holder. Once wallet is released, yobit stops trading IOU. They then convert IOU tokens into real WAVES tokens and deposit that into your account.

If this happens, this will eventually become a big loss for you.

For example, you're buying at 0.0028 per IOU. You failed to sell in time. Yobit replaced your IOU with real WAVES tokens. You have paid 0.0028 per WAVES token. If real trading didn't pickup well or just selling at little higher price than the ICO price like 0.0005 or 0.0007, you will suffer a loss.

But, but,

if you're a good day trader, then the IOU days are for you to mint btcs.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PWR] POWERCOIN - Distributed Computing made easy [NOW TRADING] on: June 03, 2016, 11:30:28 AM
ANN thread must be redesigned. It is very awkward to look at it. Very small font size. I can't read much of the lines there. This makes to skip reading the ANN post.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: June 03, 2016, 11:21:06 AM
IMO, Monero and Eth are completely different. There is nothing identical to match and compare these two coins. Let both coins live on their own strategies.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PWR] POWERCOIN - Distributed Computing made easy [NOW TRADING] on: June 03, 2016, 11:13:28 AM
I see lot of volume in yobit. But I'm bit hesistant to buy at this price. Is it time to buy? I just want to look for some dumps below 30 sats.
