If you did not claim your iotas in the automatic claiming period contact @David over at https://slack.iotatoken.com where you will be given further instructions to manually claim your tokens. Tokens not claimed by 11th of July 2017 will be forfeited and considered donations.

so there is a free giveaway of iota? I can't find much information about iota...
How many iota can one receive through this claim? And how? the slack website does not exist it seems.

And how many iota will exist in total?

Lol, it's claiming for the guys who bought in november 2015.

I want to start investing in Altcoins, but I don't which one to go for, I don't know which one is worth investing in...Any advice?

I guess investing in Top 10 coins from http://coinmarketcap.com/ is pretty good starting point.

Do you know anwser on my question?

I know what are you trying to say here Febo.

You want to say that if BTC was sold at 10 USD per coin in 2012 then it's unfair that no one sell it to you below 1700 $ in 2017.

You want to say that if Peter Thiel bought 10% of all Facebook for 500'000 USD in 2004 it's unfair that no one will sell you 10% of Facebook now for less then 43 billion dollars in 2017.

You want to say that if someone sold all iotas in 2015 for 1337 BTC it's unfair that no one will sold you all iotas now for less then 120'000 BTC in 2017 .

But it's just how the world works and you are enough smart to see that I'm right.

Now back to your question. The amount of iotas in fund is an equivalent of 2'000'000 USD in today's prices.

Let me also quote myself here with price of IOTA in ICO.

Yes, iota is very long-term project. You can even quote yourself not only in 2017, but in 2019 and 2020. I'm sure it's still be there  Smiley

Hello

I didn't read this forum for couple of years.

I missed the IOTA ICO and I really like the idea of this new technology. I'm actually in love with it!

Who could sell me some IOTAs at a fair price?
I will obviously send first but will only do it with people I can see that have done a few other sucessful transactions with other users.

I think I'd go for around 0.5 btc. I want to see the list of people who was in the IFO and how much they put into it.

Thanks and sorry if I sound a bit newbiesh. Any help will be appreciated.

It's time to stop to be noob! Use escrow!

53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How readers verify whether a High Ranking member is a specific AltCoin Promoter? on: May 07, 2017, 09:34:49 PM

Now the question is how do readers on this site verify whether the senior/high ranking members of this site are not part of a Alt so we know the answers from them are legit

If high ranking member do not hold the Alt he promote, then it's a red flag of a scam for me. If it's so good why don't you all in  Huh
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next big thing? on: May 07, 2017, 08:15:21 PM
I said it many times but will repeat again:

IOTA.

1) no fees.
2) scalable
3) b2b and machine market/Internet of Things
4) quantum secure
5) hardware support

Everything is new: new algo, new design, new use case, new source, etc.

Stop abusing us with this scam

In bitcointalk the term "scam" used to describe successful innovate projects: previous scams are Ethereum, NEM, etc.

it is not possible to sell iota in the nxt asset exchange ?

I see you ignore what I said above, but I'll repeat. Ask the issuer of nxt asset to send you real iotas.  Roll Eyes
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: May 05, 2017, 08:42:42 PM
i've some iotas in my nxt asset wallet.
is it the same thing ?

Some people sold iotas on nxt exchange in 2016. If you one of the buyers, you need to ask issuer of the asset to send you real iotas.

IOTA promises 0 fees.

What is to stop someone from spamming gigabytes of tx data or billions of transactions a second into the IOTA DAG?

Yes, iota need spamming, the more spamming - the faster is confirmation times.
Please ask "someone" to start spamming gigabytes of tx data as soon as possible.  Smiley
