Just came across this project and looks really interesting. Quick question: Total supply will be 50M... How many coins are being mined per day?... Also over how long until there will be 50M tokens in total.

Hi jking - I saw you also joined our slack, but I'll provide a brief response here for you as well. Since we are an asset generated on the waves blockchain, we created all 50M units in genesis and made them available for sale during our ICO period. WAVES and all WAVES assets (such as TOKES), do not subscribe to a POW mining process. You can operate a full node for waves and process transactions in a POS capacity, or you can lease your WAVES out to registered full nodes under their LPOS system. Miners today are rewarded with transaction fees in blocks, as well as with MRT (miners reward token), which was created by the waves team to incentivize full node mining. MRT will also provide an incentive to miners to process fees paid in various sub-assets, like TOKES, instead of just with WAVES fees attached. That way a person would only need to carry one asset in their wallet, should that be their preference, instead of needing to own WAVES just to make transactions in an asset like ours. Has anyone got a summary of why Tokes is better then the likes of Potcoin or Hempcoin... these coins have been around for a while. What are you guys doing which will give your project better success then the others?
We've discussed this fairly exhaustively throughout the thread, but a few points: - Team skillset and execution strategy
- Industry relationships
- Education and Adoption strategy
- Revenue generating tangible business segments, with profits dedicated to growth of the technology stack
- Asset pegging and anonymity features

 this seems unnecessary, but while I participated buying 51 TKS -- I never really knew where to retrieve them. So, I bought one TKS at Bittrex last month in case I ever discover how to get at my small ICO buy. I'd like to see more of a marijuana party -- not just a bunch of grumpy money grubs. Pot's supposed to be fun, but you'd hardly know it. Wonder what Sessions will do to wreck things further. Hi Kov,
I am using the faucet since yesterday. After the completion, I am redirected to a white page telling me "sent XXXX Tokes to addr yyyyy" wich I guess is correct.
But, there is no link to get back nor anything else, so I have to used "previous" button on my browser.
Secondly, I haven't received any Tokes. My guess is, there is a treshold to reach but no indication of it nor the current accumulated amount I got.
Is the faucet on "testing only" or incomplete or do I have a problem with my browser?
Hey Walletor, this is indeed a beta version of the Tokes Faucet. Functionality is all in place, but we could probably use some improvements on UX design. We've had several people provide feedback on the confirmation page, so we will work on cleaning that up a bit. If you're sending them to a Bittrex account, there is a minimum of 1TKS balance prior to being credited. If you're sending to a Waves lite client then the balance should appear almost immediately. |

Why does my Tokes asset says " You do not own/have not created any assets" in my Waves Client?
couple weeks ago, I saw my balance. And today, it says I don't have any. Anyone knows what's wrong?
The entire waves chain and client is re-syncing after the latest update. You'll notice that none of your WAVES balances, including WAVES itself, currently show up in your wallet. The sync should complete in a few hours, as I understand it. |

I can't get an address in bittrex. I want to buy, but can't generate address... 2 minutes now, just hangs.
I generate other token address, and it comes up a few seconds.
I saw that happen on an account as well. If you wait a few minutes, it should be there when you recheck. Edit: Also, I'm not entirely sure you need to wait for a tokes address to buy. Just deposit to your btc address |

If at all the dumpers are weak hands contributing to keep the price low are done selling, I expect Tokes to be traded as high as 100K sats price floor. If I remember correctly, Tokes reach 100K sats+ when it was first listed on bittrex. I don't see the price going up though. Price is usually higher when it gets listed and the first to arrive dumps it which made its price dropped to 50%. The development is what makes the price go up because investors are going to watch what goes on to the project. The team at least should provide weekly news. We actually release content on most days, just not as formal as our newsletter. Join us in slack if you'd like to see more up-to-the-minute progress updates. |
