41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba inu on: August 08, 2021, 12:28:29 PM
is it a joke or what?
i personally dont think that its a real deal to go up with.
Rumors that shiba inu is like bitcoin yet i dont see many websites using it. is there any earn-money site paying in shiba inu?

Reading through this, a question that came to my mind is, what is the relationship between Shiba Inu and Bitcoin? I do not see any relationship, similarities or anything worthwhile to relate Bitcoin to Shiba Inu, that is, in other words both are entirely different. Talking about their differences, Bitcoin is a decentralized coin which is totally trusted and secure, and because of the trust and reliability found within Bitcoin made it to be the most respected and invested coins, most people coming into this space always go for Bitcoin as a long term investment. Shiba Inu on that other hand, is a Meme coin with no much use case, it derives its worth from hype and nothing more.
Lastly, where I have seen Bitcoin being adopted by different organizations, same can't be said of Shiba Inu, so in all ramifications, both have nothing in common.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and BSC on: August 07, 2021, 06:29:29 AM
Yes, it is quite true that the reason why BSC network became big as of then, was as a result of ETH gas fees, but did that really affect ETH in a big way? I don't think so, because it kept growing as well. It is also nice to add that, a lot of projects that migrated to BSC did so in order to get hype and pump their price, now how many of those projects are still growing and how many are moving again to POLYGON? Nevertheless, the BSC network is also not as good as you can think, it still needs more improvements if it want to last long term, congestion seems to be getting at it often and on.
Lastly, I don't think there is or will be a better option than ETH blockchain, ETH blockchain is just the best and look at what the team are working on currently, the London hard fork is done already, now ETH 2.0 is on the way.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Safe for Investment on: August 07, 2021, 06:20:31 AM
Most scam projects tends to be much when there is a particular trend in the crypto space, for instance, during ICO they were much, during the Meme coin hype, many were created and a lot of them scammed a lot of people, and now NFT is here, there is need to learn from other previous trends and making good decisions, else it will be same as well. One of the simple reasons they succeed in scamming people is, since the hype is there, a lot of people will pay no attention to due diligence but on the hype and thus going after hype and those scammers banking on such opportunities to carry out their scams.
Therefore, one of the best ways to make safe investments in altcoins is first and foremost, carry out your due diligence no matter what the team are saying, have a concrete reason to invest in a project, in as much as it might be hard to get the genuine ones, at least due diligence will help you out of a lot of scam projects.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the crypto hype over? on: August 07, 2021, 06:12:22 AM
I might beg to differ and would rather say the crypto hyper is maybe taking a break for another rally. Talking about Elon musk tweets, I remember the last time he tweeted about Doge and there was no much price movements, which shows that people are already fade up with his past behaviours of the market which saw the crypto space reacting in a negative way, that is to say, in a way his Influence is reducing.
Secondly, on the case of China, with their ban on miners, I don't think they will have much influence on the market again, people are already learning to move on from their consistent fud and everything, so in a way too, their influence is reducing as well. So looking at these two cases I would say it is a matter of influence, and since it is no longer profitable for anyone, people are moving on from them. However, the better side of it is, more attention is coming to crypto through other ways, for example Ethereum is on the forefront now, NFT on the other hand is pushing too, Bitcoin is already approaching $45k mark, which most people believes will spark another bull market.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PolkaDot - Next Ethereum on: August 06, 2021, 07:53:43 AM
For something to be the next big thing, it means it is replacing another or beating the other. As for me, I would say there is nothing like the next Ethereum, we have been hearing that for a long time now but yet nothing. One of the things people failed to understand about Ethereum is that, their team of experts are always relentless and working hard, now take a look at the market, many people are of the opinion that Ethereum is leading the market right now into a bull market, do you know what it means for such to happen or for people to have such mindset? It means Ethereum is doing something great and exceptional.
To be frank, Polkadot is great as well, but I can't compare it to Ethereum, months ago people were saying BSC chain is the best because of low fee and gas, but what happened afterwards? Congestion and failed transactions, and now no one is saying anything about it again but moving to Polygon chain. So what all these says is that, every altcoin is the best in its own way, use case or line of operations, but there is one that surpasses them, and that is ETH.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest on alts suggestion on: August 06, 2021, 07:36:54 AM
Although it is hard to predict this space that is, many people were predicting the market will dump further months ago but look at where it is now, look at BTC and ETH, and it also looks like the bull run is getting ready to start again with the type of news and all that we are seeing now.
The thing is, in my own opinion, you would have bought some of the altcoins you want as of June and July when the market was still taking a beating, but in this case, you buy in batches, you don't buy all at a go. Hence, considering you are in for long term, and considering you will most like pay attention to good coins, you will reap the benefits at the long run, but now it seems most coins are picking up, unless some of your favourites are yet to.
Remember, no one can tell you exactly how things will play out, therefore do your best to focus on coins that are worth it or will be worth it on the long term, just incase the market dumps again after you have bought.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of token airdrops on Tronlink wallet on: August 06, 2021, 07:25:34 AM
Scammers will always have their way in anything, talk about the ICO era, they were in their numbers, till this very day they are still leveraging every opportunity to scam people, also most of the times, these scams comes as a result of greed. That is, most scammers knows that many people are greedy and thus will try out their chances by sending fake tokens to them in order to hack them or whatever they can think of, this case is not only limited to Tronlink wallet or Tron network but to other networks as well.
Last week or early this week, there were many people complaining of getting tokens in their wallets with insane values and those who went ahead to interact or trade it where hacked or scammed, don't know the legitimacy of the information but it tells you that, a lot of people don't do their due diligence, they just jump into any token they see and hackers keeps having a field day with them.
So let's always try to do that right things in this way securing ourselves.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you were me , Do you buy this coin ?? on: August 04, 2021, 11:06:44 AM
To a great extent, it is hard knowing the intentions of a team, there are projects whose team do not host any ICO or public sale just to give investors the impression that their aims and objectives are genuine, only to list on an exchange, get a good volume and market cap, then dumped everything. Also, there are projects whose team were genuine and still working on their platform. Therefore I would say, don't be blinded by that fact of no ICO or public sale, but pay a better attention on what the team have done so far and how far they are also willing to go when they list their token on exchanges.
Use case should always be use case, that is, it shouldn't be ignored when looking at these projects, because it speaks a lot of a team who knows what they are doing. In addition to this, the exchange they are listing on plays a good role too, because most exchanges are known to kill a project and most team also use that avenue to exit scam.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the things to look for when buying Altcoin? on: August 03, 2021, 08:11:14 AM

That's true, with the number of coins and tokens circulating in the markets makes it a bit tough finding good projects to invest in, to add to this, a lot of projects are already on their way. In addition to this, it is also good to point out that, many of these listed projects are already dead.
Going back to the main question, in as much as it might be hard to know about good coins to buy or invest in, it is also possible to Invest in the good ones.
To begin with, you have to know if it is an already listed altcoin or upcoming, if it is an already listed altcoin then know the team plan towards the project and how much of their roadmap that is being followed, this will give you an idea of what to expect. On the other hand, if it is an upcoming project and you are okay with that they are promising, you can invest and sell when in profit, then wait for price correction, from this price correction or dump you will be able to understand the strength of the team, their experience and how hard working they are towards staying on track. If they are still on track while developing, then you might want to buy back again or move to other coins like ETH.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeing some market cap vs price arguments on: August 03, 2021, 08:02:47 AM
This argument has been around for a long time now, at least I have seen people doing so, with one party agreeing that supply doesn't matter while another says it does, but when XRP pump happened of which it got to All Time High, that perspective was changed I think that might be one of the reasons why many coins now have a lot of supplies (just assuming).
Also about market cap, most coins with many total supply finds it easier to pump as user will buy in large quantities thus making it possible for those with little funds to get involved, and the more it pumps and remove a "0" the more happy investors are, although some gets trapped, but same can't be said of most coins with small total supply. I have even noticed that most IEO on good exchanges, the tokens or projects in question always have a somewhat big total supply thus making the IEO price somehow attractive.
Nevertheless, the whole idea nowadays is, most projects are gradually going the route of having a very big total supply, which gives everyone a good fighting chance, but the funny thing is, at the end the profits made are being taken back to good coins like BTC. So I would say, that arguement doesn't matter anymore, once a coin have what it takes to be invested with and the person is okay with it, then go ahead.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in cryptocurrencies. on: August 03, 2021, 07:49:13 AM
Some say cryptocurrency is a low risk investment but high return and also does this digital currency have a fundamental value so that it is feasible for investment?
What do you think ?

Well the aspect of low risk with high return can work two ways, that is, it can be true and also can not be true. Let me explain, it is already stated that before venturing into crypto make sure you understand the risks involved, this is very important, now once you understand there is a risk to be careful of, you have already started making good progress. About the risks in particular, you can reduce this risks while earning more or making high return through having a long term mindset, with this mindset you can easily invest in good coins when they are in dip, send the coin to a private wallet and relax, at the end you will realize you have made a low risk investment but with good return.
On the other hand, if you are one with a quick cash mindset, you are only increasing the risks because you will be quick to invest without the appropriate reasons, hence likely falling in scam projects and all whatnot.

53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Online Education, the future of learning? on: August 02, 2021, 08:43:26 AM
Online education of cryptocurrencies and blockchain comes in different ways, as for some people, YouTube fills in the gap for them, while for some people other publications helps out as well, I believe platform's like Binance have a sort of online academy to help people with whatever they want to know. In the same way it depends on what exactly you are looking for, is it trading, investing, knowledge of crypto trends like NFT, DeFi and so on, also you can learn all or be an expert in one.
Lastly, this great forum also gives you a good foundation to know and learn whatever you want, as it also opens up the chance of asking your questions for clarifying what you have read, thus expanding your knowledge the more.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of crypto on: August 02, 2021, 08:32:39 AM
Nowadays it looks more like banned news from China do not bother anyone again, I mean every now and then, one ban news or the other, one might even ask if at all they have any thing like good news. We have been hearing about their banning crypto and so on, but looks like miners are already fade up with their consistent disruption of their business hence moving to other regions mostly the North America, at least this will reduce their Influence on the market a whole lot, and as it reduces their Influence it takes them backwards.  The future of crypto is already mapped out and that is, it will only keep getting better, because it will be hard for any country to totally stop their citizens from using crypto even though they have their own national digital currency.
Therefore, ban news or whatever fud from China no longer move many as it used to, because the adoption is getting more interesting and intense.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metahero coin on: August 02, 2021, 08:24:10 AM
Hi, today on 13 pm cet we can buy on pancakeswap new token https://metahero.io/. What you think about that? Did you hear about this projects? I want to invest, but i dont know how work new coins on pancakeswap and when its possible to be on bigger markets like binance for example. Just say what you think.
Peace out crypto brothers Grin

You don't know anything about a project and you want to jump in just like that and invest, it looks more like you are doing a blind gambling, because you don't know what you are doing. As a new person or user in the crypto space, your first line of action should be on how to learn the basics things like safeguarding your private wallet, knowing how to research on coins starting with old coins first before moving to new ones, because the old or already launched coins will give an idea of what to look out for in the new ones.
Nowadays, pancakeswap and Uniswap has made listing of new projects easy, thus giving room for scammers to create their token and get them listed.
I have not heard about this project either, however it would be wise for you to learn what that project is trying to offer, how convincing it is and how applicable it is as well, then make your decision.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Elon Musk's goal with Dogecoin? on: August 01, 2021, 01:41:58 PM
Do you think he does it because he wants to make money? Do you think he speculates with Dogecoin?

I am wondering if he will keep tweeting about it after the bull market is over.

There are things you can do for fun and there are things you can do just to make money, and crypto is not one of those things you can do for fun since it involves money, and no one in this space plays with money. So I think he tweets and hype Dogecoin because he has interest in it and because his funds are in there too. Also, if you noticed when the market was bad, he stopped because no one will even pay attention to him, and because he has in a way not live up to people's expectations, his influence is already reducing, that is, he once tweeted about Doge coin and nothing was felt on the price.
It is not only him that tweets about coins they have interest in, many are also doing it, thus the need for people to be careful when following such people, invest with funds you can afford and know when to exit.
57  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull trap or lasting on: August 01, 2021, 01:34:20 PM
Dear all

I think, this is bullrun continuation. But some people say bull trap. If 43000 btc break , unstoppable

Bitcoin keeps surprising everyone, it keeps disobeying charts and analysis, that was how it was predicted to dump after the B event but it went rather up. Also, before they used to say if Bitcoin crosses $45k then it's bull run, and now $43k, not as if TA and FA doesn't work, but most times Bitcoin doesn't follow it, because one good news is capable of pushing it more higher.
I would say, if eventually it crosses $45k, then fomo will set in, and we know what comes with fomo, huge participation from people, more inflow of funds and then one can say bull run is on again. Another factor to pay attention to is NFT trend, it will also play a role in this anticipated bull run just as Meme coins did few months ago.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Cardano overthrow Ethereum? on: August 01, 2021, 01:26:58 PM
The community named it to be a much better version of ETH.
ADA is slowly building its momentum to be the best digital cash available summing up the scalability, high security, low transaction fees, interoperability and especially considering the backlash of ETH with current gas fees.
Also the creator strongly believes that cryptocurrency absolutely have to communicate one with another and most likely this will happen in the next 3-5 years and there are rumors of Cardano/Litecoin connection bridge.

Can we see a market cap bigger than Ehereums? At the actual price rates this means it should be around $12 per ADA.
Will it happen?

You know one truth is, comparing two big projects or two outstanding projects is always tough, tough in the sense that both team knows what they want and are already working towards a long term goal.
Now coming to the discussion at hand, Ethereum is one coin that many coins are challenging often and on, and yet it keeps surprising them with its growth. To make is more explanatory, during the bull run Ethereum gas fee was nothing to write home about and many projects were migrating, one would have thought that would be the end, but look at the growth so far.
ADA on the other hand shows its team are always silently and diligently working hence the reason people are comparing the two coins.
But however, Ethereum have no competitor in my own opinion, because many projects are in one way or the other taking a leaf from it, which means it is the best, many projects are still launching on it, there are also many layer 2 tech; thus there will be no bigger market cap than that of Ethereum with the exemption of Bitcoin.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much of your total capital is in crypto? on: July 31, 2021, 10:59:17 PM
Have you ever calculated how much of your total capital is in cryptocurrency?

In my case, i have 60% of my money in bank accounts, 20% in stock market, 5% in cash and only 15% in crypto.

Well, that is actually good because from the way you aportioned it, shows you are comfortable with it. However, I think people risks management varies, there are many who have huge capital only in their crypto with little in banks, now this capital in crypto might be mostly stablecoins with few good coins. In addition, this can also be because of their engagement in crypto such as being a private sale investor, a trader and so on, therefore for someone like this most of his time is in crypto which equals to most of his capital being in crypto as well.
On the other hand, there are people who don't trade or invest much but prefer keeping their capital in USDT, they even convert some of their offline payments to crypto.
So like I said, it depends on your risk management and what you want to achieve, however I also agree with you, keeping fiat is very important to take care of bills and offline investments as at when due.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Musk doesn't tweet Dogecoin, can it still soar? on: July 31, 2021, 10:50:50 PM

A coin will only grow when the team starts on a good ground or when the coin is built on a good use cases. Doge coin was a coin which as neglected but when attention and recognition came to it, it was on the ground of hype and tweets which saw it pumping, and when the hype drops it stops growing, and when it comes up again, it continues pumping wherein others will earn and others will lose. So that is to say, if the hype and tweets stops, Doge will left be alone and might continue dropping in price because there is nothing to retain the price and nothing to make it more attractive to investors.
From what I have seen in Doge coin for a while now, it is more of a pump and dump coin, he tweets it pumps and people rushes to buy and sell, then he stops tweeting and the price keeps going down. Therefore, anyone following the tweets should know when to sell.
