I'm testing this out now... I'm mining simply using the wallet "setgenerate true", and then "getmininginfo" shows "hashespersec" : 5097,..." I'm testing on my 2011 iMac with 3.4 Ghz Intel Core i7 (quad-core). How much faster I can go if I mine it on my GPU? (It is a AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048 MB built-in). Thanks!

Today is the eve of Chinese New Year. If those guys don't get the site up again, it might be many days before they come back to work.
Chinese New Year in Hong Kong - holiday for many people for a few days or up to a week. Chinese New Year in Mainland China - holiday for many people (esp. factory workers) up to 2 weeks.
However, they will miss new sales, so I think they *should* get it back up soon...

One more thing... on closer examination on the photo of the boxes, they just look too new. If those boxes are shipped to them, they would have have some scratch marks. They look just too smooth and clean! Then, think gravity and physics, and imagine the boxes are either filled (heavy) or empty (light). If you look at the how the boxes are stacked, it is probabaly reasonable to imagine that they are just empty inside. Hint: you need to enlarge the photo to study it. I'm referring to this photo: https://www.hashblaster.com/images/batch_hardware_delivery_big.jpg

This company looks too eerie! The accept only Bitcoin as payment method. There are neither names or pictures of the founders/CEO and other staff nor photos of their factory. Further, the photo of boxes are most probably stickers which they printed out themselves.

Yeah, their website is down. It was down on January 1, 2014 but they fixed it soon. I think their web server is underpowered and just crashed.

HashFast says on its website that there would be 4 announcements to start out in 2014. Could HashFast post here to let us know what is happening? Or, could someone living in San Francisco walk into HashFash office to find out what is happening? There was a negative publicity about HashFast: http://www.coindesk.com/asic-manufacturer-hashfast-faces-legal-action/Excerpt from the article: DeCastro explained that: “On the eve of 31st December 2013, we still were not comfortable starting bulk production or volume shipments.” Then, on January 1, 2014, HashFast tweeted with pictures of the BabyJet and claims that they started shipping: https://twitter.com/HashFastWhich batch are they shipping currently? If an order was placed in December 2013 (ie. Batch 4, promised to ship by "March 31, 2014"), when will it ship?

could you link your ideas to the scam list in my sig?
Could you just post a comment on my blog article to link to your page, since that source of information is from you?

No. Openbitcointrader was meant as a opensource trading app. I wanted (and still want) to support this project and donated some sources. I work on a bot framework and released some of my API implementations as a lib, so the trading app doesn't have to replicate this work. I'm also willing to release some of my UI stuff later, if the opensource trading app could use them.
Please post more info here (or the links) when they are available.

Could you tell me more about your openbitcointrader project? Is it the same as cryptocoin-tradelib?

Any interest in bitcointrustbank.com
Why not just create a simple escrow service?
Where Lets say I am ESCROW (E) at the site bitcointrustbank.com
Person A wants to sell 1 btc for $1000 and places ad on the site. Person B sees it and is interested in the purchase.
Person A then sends coins to our pay to address at bitcointrustbank. When we see the 1 btc... We message Person B that we have the btc, so they send us the $1000 payment in any number of ways. We then release tha payment to person A and we send the 1 btc to the wallet of person B.
That itself sounds like a good idea. But how you gain trust from users (ie. new customers)? HOw much capitalization do you have (or can you get) to start the service?

I just want to add more to the idea. Would it be nice if the service could deliver push notifications "You've got payment from Satoshi for the amount of BTC 1.00000000" delivered into smartphones or PC/Macs?
Then, I'm thinking now how to commercialize and sustain this business idea. Any ideas?

Which altcoins has SPV thin-client implementation in Java, like bitcoinj or litecoinj?

I got some mockup screens:

And you? How far are you into creating a text / concept / video of your multimultimulti wallet on one of those crowdfunding sites? Maybe. Right now, I've just experimented compiling the bitcoin C code on my Mac, and trying to integrate it on Java code. (For Bitcoin, I'd be using bitcoinj, but I'm just trying it out because all other altcoins are based on C code.) I actually don't like it because it is a full client. The goal of the wallet is to target non-technical users, who will definitely be annoyed that it takes hours to "sync". Looks like SPV is definitely the way to go to gain better acceptance among new users. I don't know how much effort is required to port to SPV based on Java for the popular altcoins. I'll probably ask in the respective altcoins forums later... Saw that. Still thinking about your idea...

I think my proposal is only a multi-wallet, multi-altcoins on multi-platform application. Your proposal seems to go beyond that scope since you're talking about launching a service to find bounty givers or a crowdfunding pot. And, just FYI, here are some cryptocurrency-based crowdfunding services: http://coinstarter.co.uk/index.htmlhttps://bitcoinstarter.comhttp://coinfunder.comSince we both needs funds to work on the project, why not we consolidate our plans and goals? I'm not sure exactly how, but I'm still thinking.
