Why in http://bigdeal.iotatoken.com/ we are still at 40 Ti? I cannot see the 3 additional Ti
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: September 02, 2016, 12:26:13 PM
39 Ti // 50 Ti
Just one more terra iota and we will meet the luey's mileston and he will add 3 Ti  Smiley

I'm proud of the community guys, I belive we can do it together!

http://bigdeal.iotatoken.com/ <--- support the iota adoptation outside the cryptocommunity !

When the manual claim will be released we should pass 40 Ti.

Just mine will add a bit more than 0.4 Ti so I guess with others it should be enough Smiley

Is there a chance that manual claims will be processed today?
are there still pending manual claims?

I have checked yesterday evening (UTC ) and had received nothing so far, did not check today, I will have a look this evening again.

44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: August 31, 2016, 11:15:46 AM

So additionally to all the features, IOTA could replace FACTOM as it seems to have the same characteristics of ensuring data integrity but for free...

Am I right,if yes that would be awesome.

Besides, David, do you think that the manual claim for thoses who have donated for the bid deal will receive their IOTA this weekend?

Yes, indirectly IOTA makes Storj, Maidsafe and Sia obsolete. The two core features of IOTA core is Settlements without fees and Data Transfers without fees, since these are the 2 essential ingredients to IoT, combine the two and you have a superior system to all these other projects by default. And I personally believe that it's way better to have all of these technological resources, whether it be storage, processing, electricity, bandwidth or whatever trade in 1 'Economy-of-Things' rather than split each resource into its own token.

Manual claims that have contacted via contact@iotatoken.com will be processed in the weekend/early beginning of next week, yes.

Is there a chance that manual claims will be processed today?

But that card, you have find it play the game? And now you sell it? Can someone explain me how sell cards

Thank you

This card is one of the rarest card in the game and was given to ICO investors for being early adopter.

I have 2 of them so I want to sell one.

you can play with it in SOG and it should even unlock some special event in the game or other game with partnership.

BCY and cards are on counterparty, so you can trade them there with counterparty token (XCP) without any escrow, just with the decentralized exchange of counterparty.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Spells of Genesis - Innovating the Game Economy with BitCrystals (BCY) on: August 30, 2016, 04:05:34 PM
I am selling 1 SATOSHICARD, close to market price (1200 XCP or 7.5 BTC), if you are interested with an acceptable offer I am open for discussion about the price.

47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: August 28, 2016, 11:46:23 PM

We need to get one million transactions for the testing before the iota hits exchanges. Can we all run the spammer to help to get there?

"@here: Everyone who can spam do it, please. I'd like to have 1 mio txs by 1st of Sept to greenlight exchanges tech-wise." - https://iotatangle.slack.com/archives/general/p1472214130020666

running spammer from release of 1.0.3 (and before)))

How many succesfull transaction have been done already? And where can we check this number?

Guys, this is not worth it to sit on 1000 Gi worth 20 or something BTC,
when you can sit on 900 Gi worth 200 BTC, cause your 100 Gi will be given to stategic partners.

Think out of the box. Go to http://bigdeal.iotatoken.com/

I'm with you on this. 10% is such an easy donation to make and it will go such a long way!

True !

Mail sent to contact@iotatoken.com for manual claim with 10% to the "big deal"
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [IOTA] IOTA Speculation on: August 21, 2016, 04:20:42 PM
Those who have not yet got their iotas in manual claim, follow these 3 steps:

1) Send your old seed, the one you made when you first claimed your iota ownership, to contact@iotatoken.com Don’t worry, this seed is no longer tied to your iotas so there are no security concerns.

2) Make a new seed and then make back-ups of it so that you are 100% sure that you will be able to access it. After that generate an address in the GUI. Generate several addresses if you got more than 3.8 Ti and send the address(es) in the same mail.

3) Finally include how much you want to donate to Foundation and Big Deal in percentages. Example: “5% to foundation 5% to Big Deal”

The seed is the password with some "9"?

"Lovely news from @David

Today marks the first month of IOTA's network running successfully, with 100K+ transactions, millions of dollars transacted ( OTC numbers ) and now peer discovery up and running I am very happy to say that we're en route to realizing our vision

There'll be a huge update coming soon that will start to unveil things that has been in the works stretching back all the way to fall 2015, as well as 100x more that has been ongoing behind the scenes this spring

As a community member there are primarily 2 things you can do to boost IOTA even more right away:

1. Brainstorm ideas, put up bounties, hire devs to make proof of concepts on top of IOTA.

2. Fund the 'Big Deal' initiative. Unfortunately, like you all know, I can't reveal details, because I refuse to pollute IOTA's brand and ecosystem with unwarranted speculation and hype, but I can assure you all that it is indeed a 'Big Deal' for IOTA to get this through. It will open a lot of doors and bring a ton of liquidity to IOTA right away

While a full roadmap of the Foundation will be released shortly, I can reveal that our primary focus will be C and Rust clients, which will make the IOTA experience several fold more efficient and seamless, libraries and development tools to make it as easy and enjoyable for devs to implement IOTA"

http://bigdeal.iotatoken.com/

I have said that I will donate 400 GIOTA but actually my claim was not complete as I did only the 1st claim and not the 2nd one few months ago.

So I am waiting for David to release my IOTA and as soon as I will get them I will give 400 GIOTA for the big deal (David can directly take 400 GIOTA from my account if he can / wish).

Waiting for good news Smiley
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [IOTA] IOTA Speculation on: August 17, 2016, 03:50:55 PM
I want to give 400 GIOTA but could not access to my IOTA last time I have tried, so I will try again this evening.

If I understand the IOTA will be sold for bitcoin in order to complete the big deal, so I guess the BTC gathered will be used for the fundation right?

yes, but even if iotas are sold and not given to big players, it's certainly not at current prices: the deal has been initiated when the price was of the order of ICO price.

I am still wanting to give IOTA as I trust the IOTA team but giving IOTA at ICO price is really like a giveaway and not a deal...It is like there was a big deal for bitcoin and people would sell bitcoin for 20$ each, of course anybody would be interested to get bitcoin at 20$...

Anyway I hope they really trust the partnership with the "big deal".

People should really stop thinking of this as a deal in terms of us selling them anything, in fact we might even give it away. The 'deal' is to get them to have the largest incentive possible to work to ensure IOTA's adoption. People really need to get their heads out of the parochial view of thinking of everything as "how much profit can I get from these tokens".

'Big Deal' is equivalent to getting new developers/engineers on board a project, of course you have to compensate them, employees rarely work for free for companies, that's why start-ups give out equity, so that the employees have a direct incentive in making the start-up succeed and thus their equity be valuable.

If you read carefully my post, I am not thinking about "how much profit can I get from these tokens" as I am ready to give the reward to the fundation anyway.

If the persons / company is involving and work for IOTA then I am ok with that.

Anyway as I said, I wish to give because I trust IOTA team.

Dont change coin cap, just develop.
it is unneccessary. dont care of smaller things
AGREE!

Even if it is true that if you think logically the coin supply has no impact on the value, the sad truth is that most of people are not really logical and having a coin too expensive per unit may limit the acceptance.

How many times I have heard "oh 500$ for 1 bitcoin is too expensive" when people did not even know the total supply...Their remarks were totally irrational but anyway they did not buy in part because of this "expensive price".

I suggest to increase the supply to get at current market price a price around 100 satoshis in order to avoid too much spread but at the same time giving some space for a rise in the price.

58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: August 05, 2016, 05:17:02 PM
How intertwined do you guys think the Factom INC valuation is with FCT as a currency?

they get burned when entries are made

Are you sure this always happens?  What if someone purchases entry credits with a credit card from the website rather than with factoids, does the factoid supply still decrease?

Yes it decrease the same. If they buy with credit card, the merchant will sell over the real price to make a profit but factoids will be burnt exactly the same way.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tau-Chain and Agoras Official Thread: Generalized P2P Network on: July 24, 2016, 10:29:57 PM
How that is possible? Even at a very discount price of 10 cent / agora that should be $750K at least.

the lower price ever was 7.5 cents. and the btc price had a lot of moves over the time, some purchased were made when btc was less than $250, for example

7.5M * 0.075 = $562K and your offers are priced in $ not in btc.

So I guess it used to be priced in bitcoin but now it is in $

~$250k is only since tau. there were more incomes to zennet a year before tau, but they were spent on zennet's marketing (and we also lost quite much on btc going down from 800 to 200) before tau began.

Ok thanks for the info.
