Hey, How many transactions are reasonable on a stake wallet? I got 2000 in 2 months and It was 100% CPU load with 4000 before - is it required to move hobos to a new stake wallet with a new version? Thanks

You will want to combine blocks every so often to reduce cpu usage. See this link for some additional details. http://wiki.hobonickels.info/index.php?title=Coin_Control

Thanks for posting this!

Would like to have some coins, too. If its possible? Smiley

I found only a windows-wallet.
Are you developing a wallet for macintosh, too?

If you want, I can test it. Smiley

Hi Whinehouse,

Follow these steps below to get your SRC. I'm not sure about a Mac wallet yet, I'll have to ask the Dev. Thanks for your interest!

Here's how to get your coins:

1. Download the Sourcecoin wallet: http://www.coinssource.com/sourcecoin/

2. Leave a comment on the article linked below with your SRC wallet ID and get 10 SourceCoins, out of 1,000,000 total.

Wait, I must be missing some really vital piece here cuz I don't understand what the hell is going on.  If only 1,000,000 source coins are created total, and only 10k are available to miners, what the hell am I mining on okaypool right now?  Cuz I got like 30 in 5 minutes so this math isn't adding up to me.

You are the biggest rig that's been on Sourcecoin so far that I'm aware of, so probably the difficulty will adjust accordingly.

I really enjoyed learning about Québecoin. I thought you would like to take a look at the article I wrote for QBC.

Here's the link: http://www.coinssource.com/je-mappelle-quebecoin/

I'd really appreciate it if you could put a link to the article in your Announcement post and/or on your website. Also, please leave a comment on the article when you get a chance!

Bonne chance à vous! Merci.

49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: keeping scammers and idiots on the ropes since July '13 on: April 17, 2014, 01:02:01 AM
fuck the fuck off buddy !

your bullshit topic would be deleted if i was in charge pal..

put your faggy clone coin ANN topic in with the other ANN topics.
you don't deserve any special treatment than all the other shitty faggy clone coins.
and you guys need to stop that shit this is getting old.
many of you coin cloners are trying to find ways to post your shit coins in the main section instead of the ANN section
because you know damn well we are not even looking at the fucking stupid garbage your dumping in there..

and SRC PROMOTIONS ? wtf is that shit ?

what coins are worth my time ? hey nobody your opinion means fuck all and mine does..
I'll make a topic saying what coins are worth our time and people listen to me not you weazle.
don't gimme this whoops bs either we're not dumb.. cut the crap scammer

i am reporting this topic if it's not moved shortly and i encourage others to do the same.
this has gotten to be a growing problem where these scammers are playing games with the rules
such as making giveaway topics but adding in some crap
or posting coin ANN's in main for attention with some gimmick.
For now on all scammers will be reported and i encourage everyone else to join me in hitting the report button !

if i had mod powers for a day ohhhh would i clean house on these slezaballs Smiley lol

I guess there's a reason you aren't a moderator here Spoetnik. Maybe it has something to do with the way you carry on like a raving lunatic. Anyway, it would would be nice if you toned down the cursing and complaining, which I am sure is offensive to most reasonable people. Thanks.

52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinsSource.com |Company IPO| Leading Alt-Coin Information Source | + SourceCoin on: April 14, 2014, 11:03:42 PM
I was working on a similar idea but got nowhere near what you guys have accomplished. The amount of coins that you have covered and the detail that you provide goes well beyond anything else that I've seen on here. Great job!

ps. if you ever need another person to write or analyse coins for the site let me know!

This looks interesting.

Am I correct in my interpretation that Sourcecoin will be used as more of a promotional coin for your alt-coin information/news/investing site?

Will I be able to pay for my Coins Source Premium membership with Sourcecoin?

Thanks!

Any word on coins-e adding DMD? I see that it is listed as coming soon on the DMD announcement post. Do they have a board we can post on to request that DMD be added? I don't know much about them. If anything ever happened to Cryptsy the entire altcoin cryptocurrency market sure would be in trouble. It seems like it would be good for us all to support some other exchanges when we can.

i plan on making a DMD commercial not one of those animation ones we see for a lot of other crypto, but one with the style of a Gucci or Rolex ad, that's the crowd we want for DMD a store of wealth for the wealthy, something you can see being played on mainstream tv.
Sounds good! Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

When I was on Multipool, I did not find I earned as much so switched back after a couple days, but when I was on Multipool a lot for other coins, I never saw DMD get hit by the Multipool switching, even when I saw the profitability getting DMD up the list and even being higher than what was being mined.

Hmmm...that's strange. Multipool.us was hitting dmd quite a bit in December, hence my observations in the previous post. It hasn't hit at all in January though, at least that I've seen. I was simply speculating that they may have taken it off of the rotation due to the per block difficulty adjustment.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Diamond (DMD) Takeover! Update v1.0.2 | NEW website, pool, block-explorer on: January 24, 2014, 05:14:29 PM
Normally I mine at multipool.us but after having some problems today with them I switched over to dmdpool.net and so far have been running very smoothly at 2400-2700 kh/s with < 1% invalids (per dmdpool.net stats). I actually discovered dmd while mining at multipool and noticed how it was somewhat resistant to the multipool due to its difficulty readjustment after each block is found. Basically, when the multipool switches to mining dmd due to the profitability calculator, the difficulty skyrockets which leads to a decrease in profitability and therefore the multipool switches to another coin. In this manner, dmd is actually resistant to the multipools (at least the big ones) in that they aren't able to concentrate on it for more than a few blocks, which eventually leads to them removing dmd from their multipool choices (at least that appears to have happened at multipool.us). Doesn't this per block difficulty readjustment make dmd more stable at least in terms of mining difficulty and also prevent multipool dumping onto the market? Combine the POS and POW with multipool resistance and I think we have a winner here! Any thoughts?
