That's a valid question and that could arise from the high volatility of the market. However, I don't see that happening reason being that the society never rejected internet hence, they won't reject cryptocurencies which is the internet money.

That cycle is certainly not coming this year as we have had a serious bear market run in the last couple of months. I strongly believe 2019, may bring that cycle again.

One good thing about this space is nobody can predict what happens next. One minute the market is green and everyone is with grins, the next minute the market is red. Bullrun will always come when all the red flags have dropped, it may not be too soon but it will come surely.

Most people have become hodlers by chance and fate because they have lost 80% of the it investments in this bear market while others just gave up because they do not know the next direction of the market. Not everyone is good at trading even though it is the best alternative in a bear market.

I would say it is a good thing for ethereum going by mass adoption. At least hope is not lost in the market. Great move i must say.

I agree most alts will drag many portfolios to an ashdrake state. Follow the money, keep yourself updated on any project you have stakes. Dont loose all your money in the spirit of hodling.

2018, was definitely a bad year for crypto truth be told. Although for a whole of development its been promising but I expect 2019, to be much more better in terms of gains. Keep believing!!

One major reason why it is very important to do your own research and always have it at the back of your mind to always research before jumping in and project. Your funds are not worth losing no matter how little.

For the most part, do not open your portfolio always if you so much believe in the success of cryptocurrency. The current bearish market is enough to send your bp very high if you invested months ago during the boom. Bitcoin hasnt destroyed you, stop checking coinmarketcap every morning.

For the fact that it has become a culture that end of the year is for bumper harvest for the market, I somehow believe that the good days will come by before year end even though it may not come earlier.

You started it with by naming the topic "Bumpers" It is not right to call them dumpers reaon being that they are also contributors in a way of Marketing.

It takes time to list on exchanges these days because of too many tokens. Exchanges now have stringent rules on which tokens are to be listed, if the do not meet the requirement, it may take longer after the end of ICO.

As easy as it sounds, it is not easy to get funds for those that have invested almost all the it savings in the last crypto boom. You are right, its a fertile ground and a perfect season for investing, but only for the who have morning funds or are just getting started.

I am thankful for being a part of the whole crypto thing. So many people out there do not know the perks of being and enthusiast and and early adopter.

It largely depends on the worth of the token, how good the project is and how many participants involved. You should not expect to get a decent amount from a token pegged at 65000 to 1 eth.

For the fact that the market is bearish now makes it a bit tricky in deciding to go short or long. However, your ability to manage risks comes from the choice of coins you go for although it cuts accross other coins but a good fundamental analysis would do.
|
|
|
Thats largely dependent on your understanding of how the crypto market works, but the question you should ask your self is what is new that ICOs are bringing to the table? Otherwise, you should study the already existing coins and make your picks from there.

I was considering the merit thing just last night and was bothered that after so many posts and activity, i am yet to get a merit just to wake up this morning to the sad news that I have been downgraded to a newbie for lacking merits. I feel broken to be frank!
