41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is independent? or depends on fiat currency on: August 31, 2018, 07:31:03 PM
Does increase in Bitcoin price affect the value of USD? or any other curreny? or
Does increase in USD? affect the price the price of Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency?
That is certainly a BIG NO. !
I do not think Digital currencies are dependent on Fiat currency. I think they are just there to serve as a yardstick for effective measurement of actual value.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Digital Gold?? on: August 30, 2018, 10:25:48 PM
Lately, many are denoting so many names to the most popular coin in the crypto-space, bitcoin. I think we forgetting that Bitcoin is just bitcoin ... Nothing else.. Not even close to digital GOLD. because i think if Bitcoin were to be digital Gold it would have been referred to as Digital GOLD and not Bitcoin.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in ETH ? on: August 30, 2018, 10:12:57 PM
I do not only believe in Ether. I believe Ether will make be rich someday. Hence my reasons for investing the little i have into buy and holding as much as i can.
44  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the end of Bitcoin ? on: August 29, 2018, 04:38:52 PM
One thing we should all know by now is that, Bitcoin just like the crypto market is here to stay. None is dying anytime soon. the sooner we get this up our head the better we appreciate the market and all the coins in it.
45  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I handle crypto regret on: August 28, 2018, 09:19:18 PM
This is how i usually handle my crypto regret. After a failure to take action on a trade... and i find out that my inaction has cost me some money, i take my dairy and write down my mistakes and then analyze why i did not take action then. if i find out that my reason for not taken action is plausible i let go the regret and move on..But then, if my reason for not taking action is not plausible.. i work my self out into feeling good and never to repeat such mistake again.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange it or Hold it on: August 28, 2018, 08:33:09 PM
Usually i exchange my airdrop tokens for either ether or bitcoin after the token has been listed on exchange. I care very less about whether the price of the token will increase in future or not. Hence, HODLing is not my best choice of option.
47  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade Vs HODL on: August 27, 2018, 08:06:59 PM
I consider day trading to be more lucrative to HoDLing. Unlike Holding, day trading gives you the chance to earn some good money over a 24 hour period. Profit made from day trading can be used to buy back the coin you wish to hold. However with holding, you neither gain or loss money. the quantity of your coin remain same despite the ups and downs of the market.
48  Economy / Economics / Re: What are your plans for the next 5 years in Finance? on: August 27, 2018, 02:48:52 PM
In the next five year, my plan is to establish more bakeries and restaurants. Apparently i am managing one bakery in my home country and i am hoping to use the revenue i earn from it to establish more of it across major university campus in my home country. That means in the nest five years, will have lot of people working for me and helping me generate enough money to take care of my needs and that of my family and other dependents.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why every coin dumping now? I am losing huge money on: August 26, 2018, 09:02:42 PM
My bother nobody losses money when coins are dumped. The only way you loss money when coins are dumped is after you sold your coin at a price lower than you bought it earlier. As long as the coin remains in your wallet then your funds are save even though it indicated a depreciation in value.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you been scammed? or almost? on: August 25, 2018, 08:46:42 PM
So far, i have had two scam experiences ever since i joined crytomarket. The very latest one occurred on telegram. The gentleman actually impersonated one bounty manager and end up requesting that i send him 0.1 ether before i get my bounty payment. But then, i got him in the line of his persistence request of me sending him the money ASAP else my bounty tokens will be locked. And so i ignored him and later found out that he has done same to many in the bounty group.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose bounty? on: August 25, 2018, 08:06:21 PM
At first, i usually just jump straight into participating in any bounty that comes my way. But now, i have been super selective when it comes to bounty work. I usually do not have specific ways of selecting bounty projects because i follow my gut about the success of the project. Aside following my gut, i also follow some legit bounty mangers whose projects have seen many success since the start of the work as bounty managers.  As such, you might wanna join alot of telegram bounty groups to get legit projects.
52  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you make money when the market drops? on: August 24, 2018, 09:42:58 PM
The truth is usually, when the market drops it is pretty hard to make some good money. But then, when you trade a particular coin carefully during a drop season of the market, you can stand the chance of making some good money. So far,  have earned 20$ from day trading during this poor market season.
53  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: are you now afraid to save bitcoin until December 2018 on: August 23, 2018, 08:24:41 PM
In this cryptoworld, fear is one thing that drive many into taking impulsive decision, With it, there is no driving force. If anyone is too scared to save his Bitcoin until December of this year (2018), then he might as well sell it early before December approach. The principle is simple, if you are afraid to loss, then you are must cut out to win as well.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Does Bitcoin have a Mining Monopoly problem? on: August 23, 2018, 04:51:14 PM
As professional mining groups with specialized computer chips emerged. Bitcoin mining is gradually becoming centralized.  News about how bigger and influential companies in the bitcoin economy by virtue of their sheer amount of processing power, or hash rate, are taking controls over the Bitcoin mining continue to widespread, making more undeniable. Just to clear on this topic, Help me understand whether the above topic is entirely true. And if it is true, what is the its implications.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin become centralized sometime in the future? on: August 23, 2018, 04:34:19 PM
Truth be told, the chances of Bitcoin becoming centralized in the near future is highly inevitable.  If the above allegation is true it suggests bitcoin is vulnerable to market manipulation not just by traders who hold large stores of bitcoin, but also by miners like Bitmain and others in china.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best wallet for altcoins? on: August 22, 2018, 08:44:01 PM
Currently most project are creating their own wallet for their coin. I have not really had the chance to use any of these wallet compared to Ethereum wallet. Therefore, by far, i will say that the best wallet so far for storing Altcoin is Ethereum based wallet.
57  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have you ever exchanged BTC face to face? on: August 22, 2018, 07:58:59 PM
Two weeks ago, a friend came to my apartment in need of 500$ equivalent in Bitcoin. And so i put on my wifi and made a quick transfer from my wallet into his. I am pretty sure this is equivalent to exchanging Bitcoin face to face. The truth is, it was not so special but it was fun having to send money in it digital form from my wallet into a pals wallet in exchange for US dollar..
58  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too many new Exchanges on: August 21, 2018, 07:36:26 PM
I think the emergence of too new exchanges is good for the cryptomarket. why? Day in and out, new token are been generated, significantly large proportion of these token do not stand the chance of being listed on most popular exchanges. Therefore, the establishment of new exchanges will create an avenue for these unlisted tokens to have the chance to be listed and traded.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I currently have 5 ETH. I should buy an ICO on: August 21, 2018, 02:34:25 PM
Instead of searching for ICOs to invest in, what about you hold onto your 5 ether for awhile. A slight percentile increase in ethereum price will land you a great deal of profit. Frankly, scam ICOs are on the rise, i would not advice you spend all your money on ICOs that has little or no chance of reaching soft cap or hard cap.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is it the Future of Banking ? on: August 21, 2018, 01:17:10 PM
One major function of banks are to promote financial accessibility to all individual. By definition, financial accessibility is the ability of individuals or enterprises to obtain financial services, including credit, deposit, payment, insurance, and other risk management services from a financial institution. Currently bitcoin does not serve half the purpose of banks. hence there is no it can be imagined to become the future of banking.
Until bitcoin serves all the purpose of banking and ensures that it services are easily accessible to all individual in the globe, then there is a huge chance of it becoming the future of global banking.
