41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v14.5 (Windows/Linux) on: May 21, 2019, 06:05:56 PM
I tested the rxboost and really works well. Some cards easily reach 32mhs however it hangs over a period of time.
Tried it on all 8 of my 12 card AMD rigs and each hangs on intermittent times.

Going to give some time for dev to get miner stable.

Great job so far.

Miner is stable, you should play with "-rxboost" option to find stable values for your cards.

I will look into it, just very time consuming with so many rigs. Thanks for tip.

Some background. The new version is a killer performer. But I have not used anything above 1.31 once AMD got into the picture.
One of my rigs are mixed. Half NV and rest AMD. Anyone know if there a switch I can use in config to only use Nvidia cards instead of listing the cards manually?

Would be nice feature going forward to enable just for NV.
Pass “—opencl 0” to miner to disable amd cards

Great, thank you Smiley

With the new version of Claymore, what WIN10 version (updates) are you using and what are the best drivers for RX 4xx & 5xx cards?

I am running windows 10 1803.
rx570 4G @ Driver 19.4.1
Original BIOS

I've tried straps 1-5, and POL4Hx@1900.
Windows crashes immediately.

Without strap, everything runs fine, but @22MH with compute on.
I use wattman not afterburner.

this is not a good result, you have to run this card around 30Mhs... depends on the RAM type, but this is the level you have to reach

Well, he said he's running original BIOS...

I see that  Smiley but he has tried something with the straps and is unstable, obviously
With this last Clay version the bios can remain untouched (flash) but there is a solution to play with the straps and drivers, so I'm returning on my first question, "the best drivers for RX 4xx & 5xx cards?"

I tested it by installing amd driver 19.4.3 and after that Claymore driver ("Ethdcrminer64 -driver install") as an admin on cmd prompt then added "-strap 1" to end of bat file. I did over- and underclocking in AB. (RX4?0) . Worked perfectly.

What you hash?

On Gminer 1.40 and 1.41 the Volta (Titan V) production is great --- but I keep tripping my circuit, which did not happen with prior versions.

* Up to 1.39 runs about 1470 watts;
* 1.40 + 1.41 runs almost 1600 watts.

Can we downthrottle this so that I run below 1500 watts?  Any recommended settings for that?

Set your power draw limit on your tuner software. Try around 80% power limit.

Cant get it to work with Nicehash (Beam)

--algo 150_5 --server stratum+tcp://beam.eu.nicehash.com --port 3370 --ssl 1 --user BTC.Worker -p x --api 3333

Error: unknown Host

Any ideas?

I use
miner.exe --algo 150_5 --server beam.eu.nicehash.com --port 3370 --user WALLET.worker3 --pass x

Interested to see what RX580 results are like. Please share if any...
I have 120 cards and a boost would help.

Interesting to see that this is actually going nowhere. On the Discord I asked a simple question a few months ago about publishing some Benchmark results.
The guys responded with really idiotic answers like, it`s hardware configuration dependant bla bla... but yet no one could post any results even the developers....

I feel for the guys who spent their $ on product that has no backing results or even working product after several months.
Question everyone is asking, how do you develop hardware, advertise it, ship it, and there was no way to even test if actually works. Fishy isn't it?

Anyone mining Turtle with RX580? what your hash rates?

Tried this when first launched, showed hash rate and card was actually idling. If someone can please give us legit feedback.

Wallets stopped syncing, what now?
Force sync, recovered wallet, tried different machines, still stuck.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.7.0 - native algo switching on: November 16, 2018, 09:12:40 AM
580/8 hynix memory. 1.6.7- 1100+h/s but 1.7.0- 1050 h/s haven. there is an opinion that the miner 1.7.0 does not see some parameters from the config. when changing aes, fragments and bralock, the speed does not change and parameters a,f are not change in the table at startup.

what is your clock speeds achieving those hash rates? And which straps are you using?
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cryptonight Profit Switcher: For pool mined coins and NiceHash on: October 19, 2018, 02:07:36 PM
Anyone mind sharing their content folder with configs?
I really want to test this profit switcher but time is not on my side to go through all configs.

I have 8X 12xRX580 rigs. so config for RX580 would be awesome.

anyone maybe interested creating a Video for a "how to" guide?

There tons cmd-files in the directory - use them as an example, just replace server and your wallet addresses

Thanks I manage to figure it out.
