Does Crypto Exchanger Need Black FridayAn interesting question. A specific niche after all. Exchanges are not planned days or weeks in advance, right? As ‘official’ Black Friday on Nov 23 was approaching, we started entertaining the idea of joining the common trend. So, Black Friday, huh? To be or not to be?ProsThere’s lots of commotion on the market, people are swapping, buying and selling coins. Let’s give them the most advantageous terms. We might get a bit more traffic by dumping our fees. We might make our regulars a bit happier than usual. ConsWhy there should be more traffic? People don’t plan to swap coins in advance. On the contrary it’s usually done on the spot after swings, f.e. Besides, our clients seem to be mostly men in their mid-twenties. And it’s known to all marketers that men are less prone to making spontaneous purchases. So in case we were out for those who were yet to buy some crypto, it still wouldn’t work. So we decided to postpone the idea till the next Friday, Nov 30.In the meantime, be sure to let us know if we should have a Black Friday of our own and lower our fees. Give us a like or leave a comment or something.

По мере приближения «официальной» Черной пятницы 23 ноября, мы стали задумываться, стоит ли хвататься за этот тренд. Быть Черной пятнице или не быть?
Плюсы
В последнее время на рынке очень много движения. Пользователи криптовалют обменивают, покупают и продают койны и токены активнее обычного. «Так, давайте, дадим им самые выгодные условия для этого!» подумали мы.
Таким образом, можно было бы снизить комиссию и получить больше трафика.
Помимо этого, наши клиенты «завсегдатаи» тоже были бы рады получить скидку.
Минусы
С чего бы взяться трафику? Люди обмены криптовалют заранее не планируют. Напротив, все операции совершаются по ситуации, после значительных колебаний, например, или инфоповодов.
К тому же, наши клиенты в большей своей части – мужчины, а любой маркетолог знает, что мужчины реже совершают спонтанные покупки. Поэтому даже если привлекать тех, кто только недавно задумался о покупке криптовалюты, акция все равно могла не сработать.
Поэтому мы решили пока отложить Черную пятницу до 30 ноября.

When You Are Not at BestChange, You Work Hard. Or Else.We conducted interviews. We looked for ways to improve. We listened to user stories. RetrospectiveAfter having a great class of marketing and growth hacking with a great coach from Moscow, we conducted several interviews looking for the pains our customer might have and try to make them disappear. 20 interviews. $10 each. Audience: miners, traders and bounty hunters.We found out that: - Miners are really into secrecy; they want to mine for fiat directly, in other words, coins and tokens must convert into USD or EUR and deposit themselves to bank cards directly.
- Traders use instant exchange platforms as entry and exit points to and from exchanges, converting fiat to crypto and vice versa.
- Bounty hunters want to see the minimum allowed to exchange equal to as little as 100 RUB (or $1,51) and the fees as close to 0 as possible.All of them want to see the exchange platform at BestChange. Vicious CircleTypical user story looks like this: «I opened a new tab in my browser. Googled «bestchange». Checked out the exchange rates. Followed the link to one of the exchanges. I’ve used a couple of exchanges so far. Well, 3 or 4 of them… I don’t even remember their names.»In general, BestChange is the Rome of the crypto world when it comes to instant exchange platforms. If your platform is listed there, you get lots of traffic and transactions. If not – you suffer. Thing is, BestChange wants to see activity at your website, real customers coming, using your service and reviewing it. At the same time, your potential customers want to see your platform at BestChange. Who is to break this vicious circle, we wonder? It’s like in a joke about a Siberian shaman who first advises his tribesmen to prepare for a cold winter and increase their wood supplies and then consults with the meteorologists to find out if he was right. They, in their turn, respond that the winter is going to be challenging because the local tribesmen are out for more wood than usual. The joke isn’t funny. Just like the situation as a whole. The Way OutAll is left is to struggle and try and win over every customer. To struggle with Google Ads, Yandex Direct, FB and VK being hostile to any cryptocurrency-related platform. To do your best and gain some traffic to start with and then try and persuade BestChange admins to list your platform at their webiste. All that is actually beneficial to a customer. If you are number 2 or – in our case – if you are not listed at BestChange, you have to work really hard and provide the customers with the best possible service. You do everything to get them to give you a chance to prove that working with is worth it. And it’s worth it because in most cases the issues our customers have experienced were related to a transaction taking more than promised 5-30 minutes. And the main reason for such inconveniences is that the blockchains are slow to give their confirmations.

РетроспективаИтак, послушав известного коуча из Москвы и взяв на вооружение его подход к маркетингу, мы (команда отдела маркетинга Quickex) начали проводить интервью в поисках задач, которые нужно решить для клиента. 20 интервью. $10 за каждое. Мы узнали: - майнеры очень скрытные; они хотят майнить сразу фиат, т.е. койны и токены должны сразу превращаться в доллары, евро или хотя бы рубли и поступать на карту;
- трейдеры: обменник – это точка входа и выхода из фиата в криптовалюту и наоборот;
- баунтеры: в идеале – минимальная сумма обмена 100 руб. или меньше и комиссия близкая к 0%. Все они хотят видеть обменник на bestchange. Порочный круг Типичная юзер-история: «Я открыл браузер. Забил «bestchange». Посмотрел курсы. Перешел на обменник. Обменников использовал штуки 3-4. Не помню даже названий.» В общем-то, в мире криптовалюты и обменников свет клином сошелся на bestchange. Если вы есть на этом аггрегаторе – получайте трафик и транзакции. Если нет – страдайте. Bestchange хочет видеть активность пользователей, отзывы людей. Последние же хотят видеть обменник на bestchange. Порочный круг. Это как в анекдоте про метеорологов и чукч. Чукча по совету шамана запасает дрова - зима будет холодной, заявляют наблюдающие картину метеорологи. Анекдот не смешной. Ситуация тоже. Как быть Бороться. Преодолевать сопротивление Директа и Google Рекламы, ВК и FB. Всё – в попытках перехватить пользователей до bestchange, получить немного активности и отзывов. После этого – уповать на милость админа bestchange. С другой стороны – пользователю это выгодно. Потому что, когда вы номер 2 в индустрии или вас нет на bestchange, вы стараетесь сделать для клиента всё. Только бы он поверил в вас, только бы дал шанс показать, что вы можете работать хорошо. А мы можем. До сих пор мы испытывали на себе недовольство своих пользователей только когда транзакции затягивались. В 90% случаев причиной были долгие подтверждения от блокчейна.

Actually you have apoint mate. This simple information about project team members could affect the entire project progress. The team should think the way investors and supporters think everyone need concrete and sensible team to handle huge projects. Hope there is one of team members will read this and could address this simple yet important matter. I dont think they will be avle to convince more people to join thier both if they cant even disclose thier personal information to the public. Lets just give them some time for the mean time and lets not jump into conclusions right away. Seems like you guy have already jumped to conclusions and thought that we were another ICO. you are right. we are going to grow our community. also our dev team scale crypto currency pairs. So, what is you first step to make your community grow? Can you give us some clues about the plan of the team because there are already many crypto exchange that is already have many pairs of cryptos. And also, did some traders already been using the the services? There is a good work flow however many similar platforms but not succeeded with their goals. Quickex is completely unique as we can notice they have a 24/7 support team which is highly essential to hold responsibility for the activities they adhere to and it is eventually building bridge of trust and strong connectivity. The project must first build trust with the community and they need to prove that their platform is competitive enough and invest worthy. Then all will follow according to their plans. And how they will do that? Trust is very difficult to earn especially in the world of business. There must be some continuous communication and this is still new which for now is very difficult to trust. We will grow our community and make a good service for our clients.
