41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it still a good idea to participate in ICOs? on: August 27, 2018, 08:49:44 PM
There are still many promising ICOs out there, as you have already mentioned it is a very risky process, so you have to research the ICO well before investing to try to minimize the risk, try to invest in real products with tangible results, that makes the project much more credible and therefore attract more investors.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE OR LITECOIN on: August 27, 2018, 08:31:00 PM
hmm difficult decision, litecoin is a very good currency, that is achieving what bitcoin could not achieve at least in terms of technology, and many think that in some distant future ltc will replace it, but ripple is also a very good investment, especially if you plan to invest in the future, in the end, you can invest in both and see which wins hahaha.
43  Other / Archival / Re: Why to Invest in ICO? on: August 27, 2018, 07:17:53 PM
Usually ICOs can generate explosive income in a couple of days, it's like betting on a casino, you can triple your investment in one day and you can lose everything in one hour, there are also people who are interested in the project and what they are going to do, they usually follow the project by the technology so they don't care so much about the price, as long as they help finance it everything will be fine.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is now dying, what do you think? on: August 26, 2018, 09:06:30 PM
I think we don't have to despair and spread FUD simply because things don't look good, remember that eth is more than a currency with speculative value, it's a real platform where you can integrate different Dapps and smart contracts with different functions, so as long as the developers are interested in it, eth will still have a good value, despite the dips we're looking at.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Think ICO investors are Decreasing? on: August 26, 2018, 08:42:51 PM
Now, for example, I believe that there is too much supply and too little demand, you have many ICOs going out every day with the intention of raising money for their projects, many investors got into this market without knowing how it worked and were swindled, so they went to safer investments, now those who are left are the ones who survived and gained some experience to be able to invest better, and those only invest in good ICOs really, those that only come out once every 3 months.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where to invest 500$ on: August 25, 2018, 10:53:50 PM
No doubt I would put at least $200 in btc to secure my investment a little, because if bitcoin usually goes up, usually the rest of the alts follows, then I would take advantage of it to get some ETH, maybe $100 can't be so risky with that amount, because there are high odds that you could lose everything, now with the other $200 you can be more risky, maybe invest in some alt out of the top 20 or some ICO that you see promising.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Received First Bounty Rewards on: August 24, 2018, 11:05:43 PM
The first activity that provided tokens to me was not a bounty, it was an airdrop, I have also participated in faucets but the amount they give is so small that I don't even count them haha, the airdrop gave me that week $20 in tokens, of course with time they lost some value, but it was still very good pay, for practically doing nothing, just participating in the community.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Choose a Good ICO on: August 24, 2018, 09:34:45 PM
I think that everything you mentioned is a good source of information when choosing an ICO, above all you have to make sure that the problem they are trying to solve has a real solution that is achievable in the real world, because I have seen many ICOs go too far with their ambitions to only fall short in the middle of projects and have to pay back the money to everyone.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do NEO have any future? on: August 23, 2018, 07:34:54 PM
I believe that NEO's vision is to become an economy that allows businesses to do transactions without the need for third parties, more and more people are using their smart contracts despite having a higher fee than ethereum's, but they can also have better ICOs due to this fact, they are also developing their own exchange that can benefit them enormously, so far they are developing future projects, but if everything goes as we expect, NEO will be one of the strongest currencies next year.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the market dumps on: August 23, 2018, 06:21:56 PM
The market will always be prone to dumps, especially in markets as volatile as this, happens in the stock market, and happens here too, the important thing is not to panic and continue with the hodl until we are satisfied with the price we get, that is the only way to play in the market and try not to fall into manipulations, I know that the FUD can be strong and tempting but we have to endure
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never Give Up on Your Dreams on: August 22, 2018, 11:31:49 PM
Of course, I always have that image in my head when I feel the FUD coming, like anyone else would feel it after this bearish market, you never know when it is close to achieving it and this is more than true for cryptos, on any day you wake up and google has invested 10 billion in cryptos, it shoots the price to 10,000 and we are all rich!.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Altcoin? on: August 22, 2018, 10:24:38 PM
I believe that the altcoins are very necessary for the growth and health of the market, for example many of the top 50 currencies are currencies that came out this year and had a good amount of investment because they are usually good projects, of course, there should be some kind of regulation to avoid so much reproduction of the same coin and to have to deal with so many copies, that would help investors in the arduous task of having to research a whole project before investing.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is this the end of crypto? on: August 21, 2018, 07:11:21 PM
Not at all, it is still a nascent technology with a lot of potentials, maybe is the end of bitcoin, but I also doubt it, because despite not having as much utility or platforms as the other currencies, it is still the first and the benchmark when it comes to cryptos, maybe the cryptomillonaries are already over, because it is difficult to see a bullrun like last year, but the technology came here to stay.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE on: August 21, 2018, 06:48:50 PM
It's an excellent price, of all the top 10 currencies that are not bitcoin I think ripple is one of the most promising, at least financially, all these deals they're making with the banks are very important for their financing, because in the end most people still use banks besides using cryptos too, so an amalgamation of the two would be extremely beneficial to the average citizen.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are tokens in bounty campaign paid? on: August 20, 2018, 10:35:00 PM
As people here have already been mentioned, it will depend on the campaign, from my experience most uses EC-20 tokens that are ETH compatible tokens so you need a compatible wallet, I use myetherwallet and so far it has worked well, you can try with others, there are also EOS and NEO tokens, but they are not so used, although they are also reliable, some of the more daring icos use their own wallet with their own tokens, this is sometimes good, but it has to be a really useful project.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any signature bounty campaign for newbies ?? on: August 19, 2018, 11:11:36 PM
I think you should first get some experience in the forum before you participate in any bounty, if my calculations do not fail me. in about 28 days or so you're going to reach the grade of JR member, many campaigns that accept newbies pay them extremely bad, so I do not think it is worth much, also if you go up in rank some campaigns do not recognize that and still pay you the same, also take into account that most of the campaigns last 2 to 3 months in their collection.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 99% OF ALL AIRDROPS ARE SCAMS!!!!! on: August 19, 2018, 10:35:30 PM
99% is too much, I'd say about 80%, and you expected to become a millionaire just like that, just by putting your wallet on it and ready? obviously something with so little effort will not generate profits, so you have to do more complicated things if you want to earn something real, I recommend you to make bounties instead, requires a little more effort and dedication, but if you chose a good one, it's worth it in the end.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I make money (no scam) on: August 19, 2018, 03:24:58 AM
There are many ways to generate money online, it depends a lot on expectations and how much you need to live, for example making bounties you can have an extra income, which in many countries is considered more than the minimum wage, so you can research good bounties or airdrops right here on the forum, now if you have expensive expenses and need to pay urgent bills, you can not put all your faith in the cryptos, I think it is advisable to look for a permanent job that pays you a good salary, even if it is online.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: August 19, 2018, 01:37:03 AM
I do not understand those people who bought in ATH and now decide to sell with a loss of 70%, if you are going to lose money is much better hodl and see if you can recover or win something, than to recover only a small fraction of your investment, but many people were carried away by the dreams of moon and lambos, and are disappointed when they do not become millionaires in a week, especially with the alts that are much riskier than the bitcoin itself.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do lot of people hate bounty dumpers? on: August 17, 2018, 05:56:04 PM
I think that some investors are frustrated to see their investment drop as soon as they hit the exchange, I agree with you, bounty hunters are investors too and can do with their tokens what they want, and if they think that a few dumps are the ones that lower the market price, then the project was worse than they imagined, if the project is really solid the losses are temporary, simple dips that are recovered over time by all the fluidity of money that enters the market.
