41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think that the current situation will overcome soon? on: August 22, 2018, 09:41:33 PM
I think several months will have to pass, but now more than I year could be needed for the market to recover, cryptocurrencies have a lot to give to the public at the moment.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins have potential to grow? on: August 22, 2018, 09:40:52 PM
In my opinion, non of them could get to the point where bitcoin is right now, maybe bitcoin could end up dropping a lot with new competition coming out every now and then, but I dont think there would be several cryptocurrencies worth the same bit amount that bitcoin currently has.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding Coins and Tokens... on: August 22, 2018, 09:36:35 PM
I am way more selective now about the projects I get into, probably bounty and airdrop rewards end up being less than what you expected with the current drop on the market and I think it would be better to limit yourself to the best projects.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The longer the bounty, the fewer the earnings? on: August 18, 2018, 09:41:25 PM
It could be a contributing factor, after all, more people could get into the bounty campaign while it is being extended and your rewards at the end could end up being less than what you thought at the beginning.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Should I do as a newbie? on: August 18, 2018, 09:40:08 PM
Well for me as newbie also i admire to use bitcoin as daily habit until my account will up so that i will join some campaign to earn tokens. And also as newbie it would be prefer to read and read so that we can learn a lot of strategies all about bitcoin.
I still think bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency for both newbies and experienced traders, and because it has a lot of people dealing with it, you can always find some advices that suit your style of investment.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better for hodl? ETC or NEO? on: August 18, 2018, 09:38:57 PM
I honestly think they are both suited for long term investments, their value dropped considerably in the last months so their long term profitability is almost lost, just try to take advantage of their current low prices and invest on them on short term.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will other coins beat bitcoin in the future? on: August 18, 2018, 12:37:19 AM
I think it may be possible that bitcoin starts loosing value after getting some stability, I think ethereum was the candidate to replace but apparently you need more, the good thing is that innovative ideas never stop appearing so we may see a really good project next year, who knows?
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to spot a Scams on: August 18, 2018, 12:35:27 AM
I think there are not platform that could tell you exactly when an ico is going to fail or when it is a scam, I think I would stick to checking the team behind the project before getting into a project, check their background and everything.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why ICOs fail on: August 18, 2018, 12:33:53 AM
I think the reason the fail is that they don't make the effort to propose an innovative idea, I think most of them are focusing on being part of the cryptocurrecy trading in order to get profits that way.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the price of bitcoin so high on: August 16, 2018, 07:07:28 PM
It is the one that started the whole cryptocurrency thing in the first place, so it already has an enormous path traveled, the other options are altcoins and because there are too many the progress of them has been slower.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Cryptos finally getting stable? on: August 16, 2018, 07:06:24 PM
I don't think they will get stable in the near future, plus, there are too many of them, which also creates more volatility of the market, I think we will have to wait for the whole bitcoin mining thing to stop to see the results.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites? on: August 15, 2018, 11:37:06 PM
I don't know, the whole system seems kind of shady, after all, an ICO could pay the manager of the website, and the whole thing could turn into a promotion for the ICO that paid, it is definitely possible.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best Cryptocurrency to invest 2018? on: August 15, 2018, 11:35:49 PM
It is really difficult to tell, at least now, it seems like non of them is worth it, most of them keep dropping non stop, but I still have my hopes on ethereum and bitcoin, seems kind of basic but you can't go wrong with those too, they are the ones that have innovated the most in their respective fields.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are investors got tired of ICOs? on: August 15, 2018, 11:34:00 PM
I think it's also the people becoming more critical of ICOs and becoming skeptical in general. They've been burned a few times and try to invest better now.
I agree with this, it seems like the market a place where anything can enter, which leads to most of the projects being kind of lame, investors get demotivated because of that and this also keeps damaging the market itself.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long should one have to wait to sell on: August 11, 2018, 06:22:04 PM
I wait as long as it is necessary to get a good amount of profits, after all, you get into this industry knowing that it is really volatile and that you may invest and the other day that investment could be worth nothing, or just the opposite, the profit could multiply, giving you rewards you never imagined.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your experience in trading? on: August 11, 2018, 06:20:04 PM
My experience is almost null, though I am willing to learn more to see if I can handle the day trader lifestyle, I have done simple investments aiming for long term which has given my okay profits at the moment but it is time to go an step further
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you sell 100% of your holdings when in profit or hodl? on: August 11, 2018, 06:18:37 PM
Lets take the following example. You buy BTC at 6k and it goes up to 8K. Do you sell 100% of it or do you sell 75% and keep 25% in BTC.

What are your opinions / tactics?
Yes, almost everytime that I get profits I just try to turn them into fiat, so I can use it in my daily life, I think it would be better to invest a part of the profit again, but I may do that in the near future, once I accomplish some goals I have.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe I give up earning money from ICO on: August 11, 2018, 12:35:57 AM
I think ICO projects will still be good to invest in, once the market has recovered from the drop that it has experienced in the last months, many good projects will come to the spotlight.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I continue to invest? on: August 11, 2018, 12:34:13 AM
You should definitely give ICO project a try once the market has recovered, maybe in a few months, right now it is simply overcrowded by scam projects and legit projects that don't even offer that much of an innovative idea.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The longer the bounty, the fewer the earnings? on: August 10, 2018, 01:12:10 AM
The final rewards from a bounty depends on the money located to be distributed by the project, and the amount of participants at the end of course, you could get bigger rewards from translation campaigns because generally there are just a few participants in it, so there is more money distributed per participant.
