41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best odds by the best Sportsbooks! NBA (11-4) +2.096 Plays inside! on: May 26, 2014, 07:59:27 PM
What is it about BCTalk that attracts so much trolling, hate, and an utter lack of congratulations for success or encouragement after failure? Honestly this entire forum is one step away from Puke City.

For those few of us who would like to make a bunch of cash but also help our fellow man, I hope one day there is a "Good Vibes Cafe" where anyone can express their opinions on sports but no one is allowed to crap in the middle of our little corner of the universe.

As somebody who has a bit of programming ability, I am going to be putting some thought into this and making it happen when I get the chance.

We need something better. If anyone wants to contribute or invest in such an idea, please PM me. Maybe we could start it for the World Cup Cool

Great promo! The requirements are very reasonable so I'm sure this will turn out to be very competitive  Shocked

I didn't realize the games don't start on time and don't really understand why they wouldn't, but ya posting betslips definitely adds credibility to it. Thanks.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brian123321's Sports Betting Picks | All Sports | Full Tracking Inside on: May 19, 2014, 01:33:34 AM
I checked the start times of the games you listed against the timestamp on this forum. So far the plays were posted 34, 17, and 21 minutes after tipoff and possibly by chance all 3 plays got off to hot starts, at least based on the 1st quarter results.

I know that you're trying to sell the plays and don't want to give them away too early but since I've never seen live betting on WNBA I think for verification purposes the plays should be posted very close to tipoff, maybe only 5-10 minutes after at most.

I'm not suggesting that you're doing this on purpose but personally I wouldn't be able to use this record to consider purchasing your picks (and I have purchased from you in the past).

Good luck.
46  Economy / Gambling / Re: Buy a piece of Bryan Micon in the 2014 WSOP on: May 19, 2014, 01:26:18 AM
The operative word was ACCOUNTING. Everybody knows what ROI means. There is something called a record and a list of just your wins (with nothing won since October mind you) does not qualify.

I'm obviously not interested in staking you, but this is a public forum and I'm certainly entitled to comment on this, for my own reasons or so that others can see a balanced discussion.

I'm shocked though that someone representing the biggest bitcoin poker site doesn't want to seem more legit or transparent. But then again, SwC itself says "Q: How do I know I'm not being cheated. A: You don't."

Good luck at the tournament, and if you need a good read to relax the mind during the marathon event, please do check out "Ace on the River" by Barry Greenstein. Poker needs more good vibes and less showboating in my opinion.

Hey folks!  Congrats to those who took advantage of our recent Boxing Promotion! http://gambleonlinewithbitcoin.com/blog/?p=261  It was a big enough hit that we will be continue to offer similar promotions in the near future.

Stay tuned!

Nobody actually won the boxing promo bonus am I right? The terms were too restrictive. You required an underdog to be in the parlay to win, but every favorite on the card won!!

The only way someone could have won the promo was by a virtual technicality - if you included the OVER in the Broner fight in your parlay you could have won, but every other OU favorite also won!

I think it'd be great as a show of good faith to give 10 mBTC to everyone who attempted to win this promo, since nobody actually won.

You really put jeremypwr on blast! I'm not sure I saw what he did to deserve it right there though???

Anyways I think you two should have done the "Handicapper Challenge" I suggested a while back. Now there's all this pent up energy!

I do agree with you about Unit Sizes, Chasing, and Transparency in Records. And I think ROI is the most important stat!

That's why I'm following BTC Wagering every day! They're very transparent, 25% ROI so far and on the site you can get an email every time they post.

GL!

How can you throw out numbers like ~150% ROI and not provide an accounting of your LOSSES as well as your wins?

Nobody should take you seriously until you do.
52  Economy / Gambling / Re: Buy a piece of Bryan Micon in the 2014 WSOP on: May 04, 2014, 10:29:35 PM
Agreed, an accounting of past performance is needed.

It's a bit strange also, to raise (a relatively small amount) money if you've been successful for at least 7 years. The 100k ME cash, rather than being a jumping off point, so far looks like the peak of your career.

The worst part is you're raising money at a markup! A whopping 12.5%!!!

Lastly, the youtube video is a red flag IMO. It was pretty blatantly disrespectful. You should read Barry Greenstein's book.

Ahh i see what you are talking about now.  You looked at my wallet transactions.  Yup i have not received anything since April 23rd.  I dont mind though as i have been pretty much break even.

Your ROI currently sits at about 12.8%. Not bad! I've been following BTC Wagering and they're at 23% so far. Plenty of money to go around! GL!

Hi BitcoinzRulez,

Sorry to hear about your story and your loss. We at Anonibet know you are a fair player, you proved it by sending us back the 15 BTC we have sent you by mistake. I really hope you will be able to recover your loss.

Regards,
Michael

Yes but he gambled it first and had he lost he wouldn't have returned it. I actually like the fact that he gambled it but let's call a spade a spade.

Also why would anyone believe in a 200% deposit bonus? I feel like the OP might actually be Zach Schwartz aka DickieV aka nscala1 aka a scammer himself.

Sickening. The site operator, Cusipz was pretty shady from the very beginning.

From out of the ashes of so many bitcoin books something better will arise. That is for sure.

So in order to get a bet matched there needs to be another person willing to lay the side you want? How is the liquidity so far?

Yes, I think a no-commission promo would definitely entice some folks.
60  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ANN] btcsoccer.com new loginless soccer betting service on: April 02, 2014, 08:53:53 AM
This forum is definitely very polluted with scams and it is hard to get noticed with something legitimate. You have to really stick around and keep informing people to eventually get noticed.

That said, I found your site very confusing. I couldn't figure out if it was a sportsbook or an exchange. And it definitely is not "magically without trust."

But I see that it's very early for your product. I'm sure you can refine it and find a huge niche, especially with World Cup coming up. Good luck!

PS: People like some kind of promotion, especially when trying new things out.
