41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bminer: a fast Equihash miner for CUDA GPUs on: December 20, 2017, 01:38:40 PM
For me it's only 100 Sol/s more than EWBF
"ONLY"  Grin for what GPU - 1080ti?

"only" for all 5x 1070 together

with the 2% fee, EWBF is still more profitable for me

suprnova not working

An update would be great

Giving me 100 sols more than EWBF.
Nice work!

Mining since yesterday night and Xevan pay not so much : just a little more than Dagger-Hashimoto in dual mode ith nVidia GPUs.
I'm a little disappointed
Otherwise, good devs work : the miner was runing all the night and no problem with differents GPUs.

thats the problem, i'm also back to ZEC Cheesy
but great miner anyway

Krnlx,
Under CUDA8.0 difficult to adapt?

You can build it with 7.5, 8.0 or 9.0 without any problem. Code is friendly to CUDA version bump. 9.0 is significantly faster than 8.0, didn't measure against 7.5.

where to find the 9.0 binary?

looks good?

25Mh - 8 1070 x64 version

Which core/mem settings do you use?

Works great, got about 12MH/s with 5x 1070's (Powerlimit 61, Core +150, Mem +400 my ZEC settings)

Still more profitable to mine equihash coins, any suggestions for the Afterburner settings? It's more a powersafe setting.

Great news.
Are you peeps mining bitsend or solaris?

a win binary would be highly appreciated

It is 32GB.
Will try with over 40GB now.

Seems to work now, no crash so far, thanks.
but it has 100% cpu

Standalone miners GPU:

    https://github.com/Optiminer/OptiminerZero
        Windows+Linux
        4GB and 8GB cards only

Not mineable with 5x 1070's on Win7 64bit.

Crash crash crash, also with devfee disabled.

ZERO is fork of Zcash (Zcash is fork of Bitcoin). It has security of Bitcoin, privacy of Zcash and few other improvements. ZERO includes the best privacy and anonymity technology available today.

Goal of this fork is:
test completely different set of equihash parameters in the wild, chosen parameters: N=192, K=7
these parameters should target generally available hardware for mining
learn from it

All these parameters are improved by this change:
higher time complexity
about 16 times*
higher memory requirements
about 16 times*
faster block verifications
4x
smaller solutions
400 bytes instead of 1344 bytes are inserted in every block

How were these parameters chosen:
abandoning idea of mining on mobile devices
making it hard enought to postpone the risk of ASICs
memory requirements target regular desktop PCs and graphic cards with at least 8GB of RAM

Coin distribution changes:
no founders reward
no premine
no slow start
no halvening
stable supply of coins
minimizing violent mining strategies
removes stressful event that heavily impacts miners and market price
no coin cap
small inflation (smaller and smaller over time)
lowers the early adopter advantage
steady reward for miners can result in lower fees in future
at least some compensation for forever lost coins
1 block per 2 minutes on average
10 coins per block

Distribution:
7200 coins/day (the same rate as BTC and Zcash before the first halvening)
after 1 year:     2 631 600
after 10 years: 26 316 000
after 20 years: 52 632 000
after 30 years: 78 948 000

 Wink

Thanks for the review Smiley , i have nvidia 1070, buy more 1,5 years , and i have roi in 1 months .

I have a similar issue to this but I'm pretty sure mine is related to the USB risers not being solid... Is it always the same card that the miner loses? Do you get an error message or a reset in Claymore? Are you able to see all cards outside of claymore without restarting (this would mean it's not related to Claymore if you can't)

I dont get any error message, it just disappears... but it's working fine with Zcash Miners...(EWFB) it's just the ETH Miner here
