41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LEASERIG.NET - renting & hiring of mining rigs - ONLINE AGAIN! on: January 25, 2014, 02:47:48 AM
So, I just add that beginning part to my command line for starting my mining like this?

./cgminer --api-groups P:switchpool:addpool:removepool:restart:* --api-listen --api-allow P:89.212.242.33 --api-port 7777 --scrypt -I 18 -w 256 --gpu-engine 1060 --gpu-memclock 1250 --gpu-fan 50 --shaders 1024 --thread-concurrency 8192 -g 1 -o stratum+tcp://blahblah:3333 -u username -p x

I'm running xUbuntu 13.

How about a tip area too, so a renter can tip good leasers.

Like "I rented this guy's rig for a week, made a crap ton of money, and he had 100% up-time, I want to throw him a little extra to say thanks".

And thanks for pushing me to jump in with both feet... I wonder what your next step will be.  Tongue

What seems to be better for both the miners and the renters, having a few instances of around 1Mh/s, or having 1 bigger instance of 5Mh/s or more?

I personally know this guy. He's a solid miner, and a good friend. I got him into mining in the first place, with me running my awesome 175Kh/s on my home computer. Ah remember those days... like... a month ago. Then you had to go and buy a couple cards, forcing me to build a rig. Smiley

Thanks for letting me know about this! I hope to have my rig leasing this weekend.

Here's my rep thread, I'm always available, and my 1.1Mh/s rig has been 100% stable at that speed. If this goes well I will be building a 4MH/s rig to rent out as well.

I'm currently still waiting to be added, and waiting to get home so I can set everything up and begin renting this weekend.

I keep trying to send a message to you and it keeps telling me I've sent a message in the past 360 seconds and won't send.

I want to lease out my rig. What do I have to do to get started?
I've been mining for a few months now, my rig is small but stable, 3 7850's running a constant 1MH/s (most of the time it's closer to 1.1Mh/s).

Let me know, thanks.
