41  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What technical analysis indicators works for crypto day-trading? on: July 24, 2018, 02:09:01 PM
I use Fibonacci a lot for my TA analysis (in forex), but I do it in the bigger time-frames, where they seem to have more validity (due to historical data).
It's harder to find historical support and resistance levels, due to the lack of historical data in crypto.

I do miss the standard MT4 TA tools tbh ... Tradingview has some cute tools, but still nowhere near what I'm used to ...
42  Economy / Trading Discussion / What technical analysis indicators works for crypto day-trading? on: July 24, 2018, 01:40:52 PM

Having dabbled in forex trading for the past years and starting my crypto journey.
I'm wondering what indicators are useful for crypto day-trading. How useful are SMA's or EMA's?
What trading platform has the most complete technical analysis tools?

I do agree with a lot here, that there is not 1 uniformal right answer for everyone.

what i do understand is that government taxes all incomes, unless they give exemptions that people can apply for.
If crypto-trading is not specifically mentioned, the closest example you could compare it to, is how profits earned through stock trading and forex trading are taxed.

But assuming you don't have to pay, is always a gamble in my opinion.

Is there a checklist to follow that could help you evade the dodgy ICOs?

All I hear from others is look at the team behind the ICO and the partnerships they have.
But this seems too easy, if that's the case how come people still step on shit?

The power scarcity discussion is a funny one to me. Humankind will do anything to survive, if we look at how many countries have not utilized nuclear energy and let's only consider the allegedly cleanest nuclear energy (Thorium based nuclear energy), then the energy cap might be way bigger than we can imagine right now. Just keep in mind that profitability is higher, when something is scarcer.
