Hey guys i'm trying to use vertminer-0.5.3 but it won't even start. What am i doing wrong?
Gpus are 2x Sapphire 280X
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
vertminer.exe --scrypt-vert -o stratum+tcp://east1.us.stratum.dedicatedpool.com:3361 -u myusername.1 -p mypassword -d 0 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 11200 -g 2 -I 13 -w 256 --auto-fan --gpu-fan 30-75 --temp-cutoff 90 --temp-overheat 85 --temp-target 72 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-engine 1000 --gpu-powertune -20 --no-submit-stale
I also tried using the Vertcoin-CGMinerAleksNR3 but my second gpu gets very low hashrates for no obvious reason. Working fine on other versions of cgminer, sgminer etc.
remove the --scrypt-vert. Thanks for replying. I tried removing it but it still won't start. Auto shuts down instantly. use ''pause'' to prevent the command line from closing and paste the error that you are getting ? EDIT : try to lower the thread-concurrency a bit, and use only 1 thread (-g 1). |

Apart from the odd spelling mistake, IM IN! The panda coin which has 3% premine, is a pump and dump scam, no1 with the right mind will mine that coin and make the devs rich for a couple of days work and paying the exchange 0.25 for it too be listed.
Pandacoin with 0% is the best alternative.

Pandacoin #1 was just another altcoin. Pandacoin #2 was the brainchild of wolong - the asian market manipulator who is credited with manipulating dogecoin, uno and others. This coin is modified vertcoin so it needs a custom miner to run. It has widespread developer support and lots of attention due to the attachment of wolong who stands to become a multimillionaire if the coin is successful. Pandacoin #3 is an attack by 4chan users to get back at wolong for his market manipultion techniques and perhaps taking more credit for dogecoin than he should. The plan is to confuse users over what is the real pandacoin. There are rumors that 4chan will launch Pandacoin #4,5,6 and 7 over the next week to further muddy the water. In fact a lot of the trolling in this thread is due to 4chan trying to create problems. sigh, did anyone manage to actually mine some coins at lower difficulties?
I went with the 'official' best pool - lmc.altcoinpool - as the launch was at 5AM my time.
How many coins do I have?
