41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC to airdrops is it good? on: October 30, 2018, 05:28:43 PM
It depends on the project that is doing airdrop and the amount of tokens they are given out. I participated in Dfinity airdrop, this is solid project that's not doing ICO. Airdrops participants will earn between $100 to $2500 and KYC is compulsory.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge tokens during Bounties on: October 30, 2018, 05:19:00 PM
It depends on the project, if the project is solid. Sell some and keep some for long term investment. Earnings huge token from project that is very strong is an opportunity for  bounty hunters that must not be misused.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest and best new coin that you never heard about! on: October 29, 2018, 02:57:43 PM
Hi all

this is something I stumbled into by pure chance. I'm long time (since 2011) ClearOS user, and found this because
I was (after a long time) browsing their web page. ClearOS is specialized Linux distro that mostly serves as proxy/gateway
for accessing Internet, although their application market offers a lot more (mail server, NAS storage, SAMBA, firewalls...)

Recently they decided to launch their blockchain and token named CLEAR, with very ambitious goals...I don't have
any official info, but wayback machine says they at 22.07 collected more than $102m USD, with hard cap
set at around $400m USD ($614m NZD)

https://web.archive.org/web/20180722071111/https://clearfoundation.co.nz/

Even those 102m places it at around 50th position by market cap, and it seems they didn't even try to reach
crypto community, but relied only on their existing user base to spread the word. Amazing.

Even their telegram group reflects their "old school" approach (only 31 member at the time I'm writing this)

https://t.me/getclear

Now, whats this all about?

If you're familiar with Essentia, this is probably the only project with as wide scope as Essentia, but I dare to say even wider,
as they plan to be one place to integrate everything...wallets, storage, their existing application market, and dApps all
at one convenient place

They even plan to add additional level of security through their own hardware:

https://clearnode.com/

Those familiar with SIA will remember Minebox hardware...CLEAR bought that project a while ago and integrated it
too, so HDD mining will be included soon

As it seems that ICO is finished, another way to earn some coins will soon be free (and huge) airdrops
through daily public giveaway bonanza that you can join here

https://clearfoundation.co.nz/

I could probably write about this a lot more, but if you're interested, you can find everything on provided
links anyway

I will go through the website and learn more about the project. Are you part of the team or you are just helping them to publicise the platform freely?
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it the start of the bullrun already? on: October 29, 2018, 02:54:40 PM
I don't think bullrun will start now though the market seems to have reached its lowest limits. I think the market will continue to be stable like this for a while which in the long run leads us to the much awaited bullish trends.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why invest in altcoin? on: October 29, 2018, 02:52:22 PM
I invest in altcoins because altcoins will play a significant role in the industry in the nearest future more than Bitcoin. At the time that the market is bullish,Altcoins gives better and faster profit than Bitcoin and I made a lot through them that what I gain from Bitcoin
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHEN WILL WE BE OUT on: October 28, 2018, 11:51:34 AM
The time to be out is not now, we are in together for a long time unless you are ready to close your eyes to lose money. Continue to hold and in some months, Etheruem will surprise those who believed in it for long term ride.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is gradually spreading on: October 28, 2018, 11:45:43 AM
The adoption of Cryptocurrency is a must for the future and there is nothing that will stop it. The main benefits of cryptocurrency is its decentralization, transparency and low cost of transaction which gives many unique opportunities.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leave emotions at home on: October 24, 2018, 05:42:31 PM
A good professional surely knows that he must not take any decisions under the influence of emotion. Emotions must not be miss with works because it can create an avenue for a competitor to take advantage of you as will always see in a relationship.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If the society rejected to use crypto currencies? on: October 24, 2018, 05:37:48 PM
With the way the industry is getting more popular, I don't think what you painted above will likely happen because the society has already shown interest in digital currency with all its benefits that it can provide enterprises and individuals.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Etherium 1000 $ is a dream to everyone ! on: October 24, 2018, 05:33:57 PM
This shouldn't be a dream because we have witnessed it before and it will surely happen again and pass the benchmark of $1000. When it comes to Ethereum, I always have 100% rest of mind. Ethereum is not a project that I need to be worry about.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can start with NOTHING and still come out with SOMETHING on: October 23, 2018, 02:34:29 PM
Yes this is the beauty of the industry. We get paid for virtually every tasks we do here. Imagine getting like 50 USD worth of token for just joining telegram group. There is no industry like ours and very proud of this industry.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do investors want to buy ICO even they know there are a lot of scammers? on: October 23, 2018, 02:32:13 PM
Investors understand the game of risk. They know that if they want more, they must surely risk more. Though ICO investment are not that encouraging now but there are still few of them that can scale investors through.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether: not even a scam on: October 23, 2018, 02:29:47 PM
I have been using Tether to edge my portfolio on Bittrex and Poliniex before but the news am hearing about them now is not that encouraging. There are speculation that they don't have the equivalent of fiat USD to USDT and they are unable to come out with tangible proof.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trusted altcoins? on: October 22, 2018, 10:05:30 AM
To me, the most trusted altcoins are those in the top 20 of coinmarketcap. Some of these coins have existed for more than three years and they have a strong community backing. My investment is always within them, I don't always invest in new project that can fly away at anytime.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: FAKE volume Fake user in SISTEMKOIN Scam Exchange on: October 22, 2018, 10:01:59 AM
I don't they are the only one that is guilty of this but maybe their own is just too much. There are many exchanges whose volume is influenced by bot trading and this always makes orders not to be passed immediately even if you are willing to sell at current price.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Postponing Listing on the Exchange due bear market conditions on: October 22, 2018, 09:57:22 AM
I invested in four projects that are giving same excuse of why they are yet to be listed. To me, I don't think is a good argument because it is against the decentralized concept of Cryptocurrency. It is a sole responsibility of an holder for either to dump or hold a token.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good strategy to buy tokens at low price directly after ICO? on: October 21, 2018, 04:44:12 PM
As for now and the current state of the market, it is the best approach to investing in ICO projects because almost all of them usually get dump at first listing and if it's a very solid project, it will surely comes up later. I have been using the approach for more than two months now.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL - The benefits of hodling cryptocurrencies on: October 21, 2018, 04:39:29 PM
Inasmuch as am a believer of long-term holding, not all coins deserve to be hold for long term. Some are just there for you to increase your portfolio and sell off. Not even all developers have long-term vision for their project. So as an investor, one must be diligent in choosing the coin to hold for long term
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs Sold 160,000 Ethereum Over the Past 10 Days on: October 21, 2018, 04:34:46 PM
This is one of the main reasons that's making Ethereum price not to be stable. There is a need for a competitive crowdfunding platform like Ethereum in order to reduce the burden on Ethereum. I hope very soon, very soon Wave will fit into the position
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where to sell tokens? on: October 18, 2018, 09:47:28 PM
It depends on the token that you want to sell. First you need to know the exchanges that the token you want to sell is listed and decide which one to use out of them. You can get more info about exchanges of any token on coinmarketcap .
