Bitcoin is real. If you buy some Bitcoins, you can exchange them to other currencies, and eventually purchase some goods. Or in some cases, you can purchase goods directly in Bitcoins.

I believe Bitcoin will survive in the long term unless a vastly better technology replaces it. Slowly and gradually everyone will accept it and world will never be the same forever.

I second that mate, this was me few months back and i learnt the hard way. But I collected useful knowledge and after that everything changed for me. Now I analyse the market and then make my move.

Buy and hold for minimum 1 year and sell for profit. Do not fall for cloud mining scams & other double your bitcoins scams. Bitcoin once sent cannot be returned over.

Bitcoin will die in a situation where there is a substantial loss of belief — the same way that the dollar, euro or any other fiat currency will die when there is a substantial loss of belief. From my opinion this is possible only when the every person on the earth stops using/investing in the bitcoin and which is nearly impossible.

I am still trying to understand why you say bitcoin has failed because, in my books, bitcoin hasn’t failed at all. Yes, it has been called a bubble, a scam, and many other names but it has the promise of the future. Bitcoin is a pioneer and historical cryptocurrency in earth.

To be honest Bitcoin is struggling at the moment with the world to accept it globally. It's a major concern and some countries are not allowing it to be traded and that it's way too harsh on Bitcoin. I won't say it cannot be but slowly and gradually it can as it got huge potential.

Yes no doubt about the future as it is a amazing concept and blockchain framework. People are getting aware of what Bitcoin is and they are gathering information about it now a days. It has got huge potential to become the future of currency.

There is no fixed time that the market will be alright at the end of 2018. You never know these ups and downs  as the markets are highly volatile. It's impossible to speculate with 100% accuracy about the markets.

Bitcoin will not crash to zero at all ever because market will keep on growing with ups and downs. I am not very sure about the crash though.

There are many investment strategies but some of which are most useful are:
1. GOING LONG - First buy and then wait for long time and sell. Investors makes profit by buying at low and selling at high.
2. GOING SHORT term First sell and then buy. Investor makes profit by selling at high and then buying at low.
Generally people short when market is going to turn bearish and goes long when market is going to turn bullish. Shorting is more riskier and as well as profitable if you are strong enough to bear risk, go with short term.
