Is it possible to add 2FA to the wallet as another level of security to prevent unwanted transfers from your wallet?
If Dev can introduce 2FA to the wallet as the second level of security, the coin will grow at least 10 times, as per innovation and everybody will copy afterwords . Agreed. 2FA will be a first in Crypto and hopefully it's not too difficult to implement something like Google 2FA. I think this is a great idea. Improved 2FA security can add yet another great valuable feature to this great coin and attract even more people to our great coin! Silk Coin Devs, would you be interested in looking into implement such a feature? |

I would like to point my miners at a dedicated pool for the next POW stage but I may be at work when we hit block 50,000.
I don't want to miss the start so is it OK to point my miners at a pool a few hours before the POW stage starts?

I downloaded your wallet yesterday from silk-coin.com v 1.0.9.0 (extremely well done btw.) I let the wallet run all night and it still hasn't synced; it usually only takes a couple hours with a new wallet. Any suggestions? Also, I own an ebay/Amazon style goods market, https://earthazaar.com, where members can buy or sell (or auction) products for cryptos. Perhaps we can collaborate? If interested pm me. I know its an obvious question but... did you add addnode=107.170.61.197 addnode=107.170.73.238 to the .conf? Q Hi Quantum, do I need to do this when I download the new wallet? If so can you explain how to do this please? Thanks you need to click the windows 'start button' then type in box %appdata% you will then see a roaming folder ... in that folder will be a folder called 'Silkcoin' you need to open that folder ( it contains wallet.dat) then you must create a config file ... open a text doc and paste into it rpcport=16667

I sent some coins to poloniex using the old wallet, is there anything I can do to get my coins back?
Old wallet will work until fork @ block 50,000 as far as i'm aware. Your coins should be fine :-) |

Oh boy. I have been heads down on some things, and look at the thread :-) You guys have to realize that it is just me, a one man team behind this coin right now. I am the brains and the dev, but I also need cash flow to live. I was full time on crypto stuff for a bit, but its not panning out as well as I would have hoped, so I need to focus my time occasionally on making real money to pay for normal life things ;-) No, I am not manic-depressive  I am just busy, and lately I have been doing some paid services for others to generate some revenue. At one point in time, we had a group of people focused on marketing/graphics/etc. but even then we were unable to really rally folks to contribute. So, it falls on me to do, which is fine but as a result the time lines start to draw out. That does not mean that it is abandoned, it simply means that you have one resource filling 5 or 6 roles. We have this thread, as well as the particle forum, social media etc. The community could take advantage of those resources to promote the coin, build services around it, build media and videos, roadmap the direction the community would like to see the coin go in, etc. I have a few more big ideas for the "PRTX" (or whatever name we go with) PoS coin, a few things that nobody has thought of doing yet, but I am sitting on it because I have noticed a few other coins are trying to do a few things that we are planning to do (like retail PoS interfaces). For me my long term goal would be to be able to earn fees on services around Particle, just like building up a portfolio of cash-flowing rental properties etc. So my time horizon for building this stretches out over the course of a year, not short term news for pumps and hype. So that is where I am at. I have been heads down on some things, and I have been testing "new-coin" whether we go with ParticleX or some other branding. Particle2? What I will commit to is to try to do weekly updates in the way that the PeerCoin team does. Hey Moon, I believe in this coin and will continue to hold. The majority of us appreciate your efforts and have faith that you will deliver your promises. Don't listen to the haters. They were probably just looking for a quick profit & bought the coin at peak expecting +100%+ of investment. The alt coin lake is becoming an ocean and it's becoming increasingly difficult for one fish to swim on his own. Please utilise the community and followers that you've got at your disposal. We are willing to help you promote / develop this coin and help it reach its true potential. It's going to be very difficult for you to achieve this on your own. Thanks again for your continued efforts! |

Can we get http://www.cryptokk.com/ removed from the exchanges list on the first post please? The message on their homepage states that it was hacked and all users coins gone! |
