41  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC , combo.Two new model coming >10MHS. on: February 12, 2014, 11:26:44 PM
I know it was asked before but noone answered.

How much are you boy in the US declaring your package is worth?

I didnt specify with jack yet.

Heres my dilemma on declaring how much its worth...

I want DHL's insurance to cover the full value so if jack declares it 5400 (what i paid then DHL should cover my device?)

If i declare it as 500$ and my device arrives beaten up from shipping then theyre only gonna give me 500$ and id have to hope jack replaces it?

The other side to this is will customs be suspicious of a package coming from overseas with a declared value of 5400 ultimately delaying the arrival...

No point declaring a lower value in the US, there aren't any import taxes to pay.  You'll have to provide your tax id number to the carrier if you cross some magic threshold though, and they charge a small fee for customs brokerage (I paid $33 for a pallet of ants).
Thanks I did not know what to declare either

Interested in more ... how many are left to fill batch 2?

I got 35 (in batch 1) .. however 1 (from batch 1) will not hash
how do we deal with this? (the other 34 work fine)

^^^ As far as hashing issues please PM dualminer with any of your support questions.

OK, I emailed them regarding the one that doesn't work

51  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Introduction to DualMiner USB (could mine both BTC and LTC) on: February 04, 2014, 07:23:41 PM
Is there anyway to set failover pools for the dualminers.  Seems as tho I am always getting disconnected from attacks on the main pool i use and would like to add multiple failover pools.  Also could someone explain what happens if say my main pool disconnects, failover activated, then say my main pool comes back online.  Will the miner go back to my main pool?  or will I have to manually change it back?  Hopefully someone can help because I am loosing hours from disconnected pools having to manually restart / change ports / or pools.

Thanks in advance

Like in PM, I can't be certain, but I don't see why this wouldn't work.

cgminer.exe --scrypt --lo -o stratum+tcp://us-east.multipool.us:7777 -u dmpotter.dual -p x  -o stratum+tcp://eu2.multipool.us:7777 -u dmpotter.dual -p x  -S //./COM22 -S //./COM23 -S //./COM24 -S //./COM25 -S //./COM26 -S //./COM27

Yah, I am having a tough time getting failover to work too... Any thoughts?

Are you only accepting BTC?
59  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN - Group Buy]Dualminer USB ASIC sha/scrypt miner $85 [USA Only] on: January 31, 2014, 02:25:42 AM
Can you put me down for two? Will they eventually work with other scrypt coins?

Done. Only 78 left for batch one

If they can mine script for Litecoins, I don't see why they wouldn't already work for other altcoins. Just point cgminer to the pool that you want to use. From my understanding they run off a modified version of cgminer.

got my 3 today and they work on other scrypt pools
