I funded my account with them and traded successfully for a while. Thanks for the warning though, will try withdrawing right away.
43  Economy / Services / Re: [BOUNTY] AltCoin Logo Design Contest - 0.1 Ƀ Reward - Ends Mar 1, 2014 on: February 26, 2014, 06:34:09 AM
We have a coin that is in desperate need of re-branding, and our first step in that process is obtaining a new logo:

What We're Looking For:

  • Preferably incorporates Unicode Character U+0284 ( ʄ )
  • A clean, modern look
  • Something that exudes / promotes the idea of friendship
  • A design that emphasizes the social aspects we intend to bring to the coin in the near future

Current logo:

I like your logo, just make it more realistic.

It reminds me  Nokia "connecting people" ! However I think the 'ʄ' symbol is realy good! Do you need a design close to your current design?
44  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cheap electricity for mining Bitcoin on: February 26, 2014, 06:21:21 AM
...and the power efficiency of chips stop increasing dramatically, mining power will stabilize at a point where it is barely profitable at EU/USA electricity prices.

I read this at least 20 times a day on this board and it simply will not happen.  There is precisely a 0% chance of mining hardware slowing down vs. the difficulty.
IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN.

I can't get you why it is not possible? Why it ain't going happen?
45  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Better way to reduce transaction fee on: February 26, 2014, 06:07:16 AM
Agree with roslinpl as it's faster and the fee is so small that making it 0 and at the same time making the transactions long lasting is worthless
46  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-02-25] Japan authorities looking into closure of Mt. Gox bitcoin exchange on: February 26, 2014, 05:49:23 AM
Haha That's really fine "Bitcoin was very intereted in bitcoin"

From the source: "Mt. Gox CEO Mark Karpeles told Reuters in an email: "We should have an official announcement ready soon-ish. We are currently at a turning point for the business. I can't tell much more for now as this also involves other parties." He did not elaborate on the details or give his location.
He is afraid of Bitcoin's community cause he really made a mess

49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which exchange?! on: February 21, 2014, 01:49:55 PM
Although Kraken is really coming popular he is late to join the game. I think that BTC-e now is going to be the largest

But Kraken has the easiest verification. Others need a ton of documents.
So you think that this aspect will get kraken to the first place? And it doesn't matter how long they've been existing?
