41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc not money on: October 10, 2022, 09:16:36 AM
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are actually more not just some sort of digital abstract code that can go into oblivion at the slightest turbulence. Some nations already accepting bitcoin as a legal tender. As along as it's easily converted to any useable value and it's acceptable, it's a form of money. See! a country currency are usually not a legal tender in another nation, hence a window of exchange for conversion.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Namibia Now Accepts Bitcoin As Payment on: October 10, 2022, 09:07:11 AM
This is commendable and a good steps for the Namibians. Banks are scared of bitcoin because of its decentralized nature with so many benefits which outweighs the current conventional banking. This will make it easy for the people to freely and easily buy bitcoin and open up a channel of opportunities for learning centers abut how bitcoin works. I hope other African nations follow suit.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I helped my dad bought some Bitcoin last night on: October 10, 2022, 09:00:26 AM
Fantastic, It may turn out to be a good retirement plan in the near future. Nevertheless, to have a total control of his bitcoin, I strongly advise you walk him through a decentralized wallet and have him withdraw the btc to a backed up private wallet.

45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ordinary folks with no financial education can be wealthy if......... on: April 02, 2022, 09:41:59 PM
Money matters requires mastery if one is to keep the money for his life time and pass it to future generation however, cryptocurrency has somewhat made it to be easy getting rich when one gets the right information. The earliest investors in Shiba Inu coins are millionaires now, but they need discipline to keep that wealth. I made huge money last year and lost huge too due to greed. Am rebuilding again.
46  Economy / Economics / Re: Indonesia To Impose 0.1% Crypto Tax Starting In May on: April 02, 2022, 08:54:55 PM
You can't tax every crypto trader and holders. How do you tax people trading defi on decentralized exchanges and selling on P2P using escrow. It will really be difficult. Currently, my bank doesn't know the source of my credit, it's not tied to commodity. Censoring crypto is very complex.
47  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia Was Prepared to Withstand Sanctions. Why Wasn't Europe Prepared to Impose on: April 02, 2022, 08:51:39 PM
I don't think Europe actually envisage this war and the dimension it's taking, otherwise they would have longed source for alternative energy from Russia. Putin knew directly fighting him would mean hell, he knew it would be economic war, so he was better prepared.
48  Economy / Economics / Re: Putin is trying to coerce firms into doing business or else... on: April 01, 2022, 09:09:28 PM
If you don't wish for any foreign firm in your nation and wants all firms in your country to be owned by your citizens, the world will just boycott your market and this will lead to economic crisis due to total isolation. Putin has gone the extreme to keep the glory of Russia.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin Fails ? on: April 01, 2022, 08:26:48 PM
Sorry my guy, bitcoin has succeeded already. Something the government and the big financial institutions couldn't bring down but had to see how they can benefit from it. It's too late to stop the revolution called bitcoin. The people have won.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Your Kids Aware Of Bitcoin? Teach Them. on: April 01, 2022, 07:56:28 PM
My kids are still very young, got married 2018, my first son already shouting bitcoin because my wife always telling him to leave daddy alone to concentrate on bitcoin, so he shouts daddy "bitcoin". Am tutoring my wife, she could have been am expert she didn't believe in it while I was courting her. Today she does.
51  Other / Meta / Re: IQ testing now required before posting on: April 01, 2022, 07:51:04 PM
I posted this to our group, the tension was very high, while I sit back to enjoy my time, until a lady came online and said "It's the tradition of the day" I nodded with a Meme in affirmation. Thanks for this great platform, it  has improved my life.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH going PoS is a huge mistake on: March 31, 2022, 10:15:16 PM
The demand for ethereum smartcontract platform is huge, and ethereum can only perform 15/TPS, this has led to the congestion of the network jerking up fees and people abandoning the network to start building with other platforms, to address this issue, they are building ETH2.0 a migration to POS, and sadly POS rewards whale more, I have been following the drama of $JUNO whale gamer.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who are the top crypto influencers on: March 31, 2022, 09:58:57 PM
I follow influencers for educational purposes only and not many fake influencers on YouTube and twitter who are paid to shill coins and afterwards dump on the community. You should avoid such influencers only concerned about their personal gain.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Smith inu got me good on: March 31, 2022, 09:52:51 PM
I saw it flying around on groups. It was created to rugpull and nothing more. this is no different from devs creating tokens from every tweets of Elon Musk. Sad as this space fall for hypes without the consequences.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pancake Swap or Sushi Swap ? on: March 29, 2022, 10:00:43 PM
I use pancakeswap  more often than I use Sushi.I use sushi on Polygon chain. People won't have known much about pancakeswap if not for the success of binance as an exchange and the problem with ETH chain.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins would you invest $ 1,000,000 in? on: March 29, 2022, 09:47:37 PM
Your group has $1M and confused what to buy will only lead to bad decision and spare doom at the tale end. When you are in doubt,  look to BTC and ETH. Some altcoins will never see ATH again, event has overtaken them.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: I heard a rumor that OPEC will go 300 USD / barrel this year on: March 26, 2022, 04:22:46 PM
I don't think crude oil will go as high as $300/barrel. Some nations that are friendly with Russia will start buying their energy at a discounted rate and this create some kind of price crisis in the market, ensuring it's not over priced.
58  Economy / Economics / Re: The ruble is going to hell on: March 26, 2022, 03:46:28 PM
This is what happens when you have a dictator in power, he just mess up everything and still won't care about the opinion of his people. Invading Ukraine was bad, a nation they share cultural heritage with and both nations have families in each others country. Negotiation would have solve this war. I hope Putin realizes he made a mistake and call for a permanent cease fire.
59  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Signing a petition against Putin on: March 25, 2022, 07:10:11 PM
Putin won't be scared by any petition, who is going to arrest him? maybe just sanctions in the future. Putin miscalculated this war, he didn't envisage this level of prolonged war and destruction, he thought the President of Ukraine would flee after day3 of invasion and he would effect  a regime change but that didn't go as planned. He is shy to call it off.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What stable coin are you into? on: March 24, 2022, 05:11:43 PM
I use  BUSD, USDC, UST and USDT, I have less of USDT because of some news that created controversies in the past, but I think they are okay now without  fear of been dealt with by the SEC.
