41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins dip what to do? on: April 27, 2019, 09:34:46 PM
With large cap altcoins pumping, it is easy to give in to emotions and buy the dump. However, patience is still required in a bull market to avoid losing money after buying the highs.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shopping using crypto? on: April 27, 2019, 09:26:30 PM
Due to its security and immutability, blockchain can certainly be regarded as a technology of the future in multiple domains including shopping. With user-friendliness at the foreground, blockchain solutions can create unique commercial solutions and interesting trends for both the present and future generations
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Binance Is Becoming Too Powerful (and really scary). on: April 27, 2019, 09:23:51 PM
That's actually true, and I'm not blaming them. I'm just saying they are being too powerful, that's all. It's the fault of the other exchanges that aren't capable of competing with Binance. You could also blame Ethereum for not being enough scalable because, because of that, a lot of projects are going to migrate from the Ethereum chain to Binance Chain. So I'm definitely not blaming them.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are centralized exchanges still dominating the crypto space? on: April 26, 2019, 07:55:34 PM
most decentralized platforms suffer from a lack of liquidity which makes the exchange of coins very difficult and inefficient. Even in the crypto world, many are unaware of decentralized exchanges. This is a ‘chicken-and-egg’ problem because once more users will trade on the platforms, they will also bring liquidity. The most challenging part will be the development of fiat currency liquidity pools.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greed is bringing loss for traders on: April 26, 2019, 07:47:35 PM
If greed is left unmanaged and remains a formidable part of a trader's psyche, periods of sustained success can lead to a feeling of trade-related euphoria, as feelings of overconfidence can lead to aggressive risk taking and hyper-aggressive trade selection. The influence that greed and euphoria have upon a trader's psyche can be substantial and harmful to a healthy trading mindset. The task of managing these issues must be honestly addressed in order to overcome the challenges they pose to profitability.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All you can do is hold your ALTs for a few years on: April 26, 2019, 07:43:27 PM
I will just buy and hold the Top 100 Crypto Currency by market cap and hold them for five years. Yes, you heard right, 5 years! I know it’s a long time, but how much was Bitcoin worth in 2010? and what about Ethereum at the beginning of 2017?Seems like the best strategy so far has been buying them and hold it for a long time, well that’s exactly what I’m going to do.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance(BNB) best alt coin ! on: April 25, 2019, 04:09:40 PM
BNB continues to outperform despite drops taking place in altcoins. The price of BNB is highly likely to close above an important weekly level at $10.68. However, it may see some drops in the near-term with a bearish divergence forming on the daily and also a Doji candle forming.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Binance Coin a good choice to HOLD? on: April 25, 2019, 02:58:21 AM
Binance has a huge competitive advantage over Bittrex and Polinex, and in my opinion, it looks like it's got a better business model. The vast majority of reviews I see from traders about Binance are from happy customers. The trades that I've carried out on Binance have been really quick.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not yet an end for crypto on: April 24, 2019, 09:02:40 PM
Cryptocurrencies are currently acting as a store of value, in the same way that gold holds value. Gold rises when stocks and bonds fall as investors look for safer places to put their funds. The same is likely to happen for cryptocurrencies. If a trade war weakens the economy or investors lose confidence in US bonds, they'll look for other places to put their money, including in altcoins. If you think stocks will fall, buy crypto., cos there's no end to crypto.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Confidence in Cryptocurrency on: April 24, 2019, 09:00:19 PM
one of the events that could push up the prices of cryptocurrencies would be fewer rises in the prices of cryptocurrencies. If the market were to become less volatile, whether as a result of regulation or the increase in volume generated by large investors, other investors would feel more comfortable putting their money in too. Prices won't rise as dramatically, but the increase in demand would put up prices gradually. It won't be quite as exciting but the profits will be easier.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is Becoming a Crypto Monopoly on: April 24, 2019, 08:53:18 PM
Binance does have the power of life or death over many smaller cap coins, and even some of the larger ones as we have just seen. Its Launchpad program injected the first breaths of life into Tron’s Bittorrent Token simply because it had exclusivity, a huge audience, and a lot of marketing kung fu. As Google can dictate the success of a website in terms of search rankings, Binance appears to be wielding the same power over token listings and it clearly doesn’t plan to stop there.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I fell for FOMO on: April 23, 2019, 09:09:53 PM
If you had invested in Bitcoin during December, for example, you would have paid around $20,000 for a Bitcoin. This would mean that investors who took money at that time lost value and never actually recovered until now.

FOMO is also pretty terrible when it comes to investing in ICOs that end up flopping. Cryptocurrency FOMO is real, but make sure you don't end up losing everything like some investors did.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BAT on the move on: April 23, 2019, 09:03:06 PM
BRAVE new browser and Basic Attention Token have introduced a revolutionary application of blockchain and cryptocurrency. Together they have launched the test version of their web browser that is privacy-centric and also earns rewards for its users.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRUECHAIN - VERY interesting alt! on: April 23, 2019, 08:57:30 PM
If we closely study the price trend of True Chain, we would see that this cryptocurrency has made tremendous progress in the past few weeks. Their efficient development team is also making new updates indefatigably. If this indicates the future of this digital coin, the True Chain holders can be hopeful about making a considerable profit by the end of this year.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shopping using crypto? on: April 19, 2019, 09:30:22 PM
As a shopaholic and cryptocurrency enthusiast, when you think of crypto as an alternative payment method, the first question that is likely to come to mind is- can you buy items with crypto at major online retailers?, The simple answer to the above question is that cryptocurrencies can be used for all your shopping needs. There are several online based companies and platforms that are accepting cryptocurrency as a payment option. They include; Amazon, Shopify stores, Expedia for hotel bookings and eGifter for buying gifts.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Binance Chain a treat to Ethereum? on: April 19, 2019, 09:25:24 PM
As part of the pivot, holders of Binance Coin (BNB), which is presently an ERC20 token hosted on the Ethereum network, will participate in a mainnet swap that will see their tokens shifted to the new BEP2 token standard of Binance Chain. Which is for me a big threat to ethereum.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most promising ICOs For 2018-2020 on: April 18, 2019, 08:44:22 PM
when it comes to financial institutions, two main hitters could slip into the arena. The first, Ripple, and the second Stellar Lumens (XLM). As long as Stellar Lumens continues to work on its ecosystem and expand its holding in the financial space, it could outshine Ripple's market cap by 2020.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do your research before investing in ICOs on: April 18, 2019, 08:39:40 PM
The idea of investing in cryptocurrency has penetrated into many parts of our society. It is mind-blowing to think that people would be willing to invest their hard-earned money in something they can barely understand, but that’s exactly what seems to be happening in the crypto world.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will NEO become strong? on: April 18, 2019, 08:34:48 PM
In my opinion, NEO is one of the most undervalued projects in the entire crypto market. The team is experienced, has lofty goals, and intends to make it the #1 blockchain by the year 2020. Plenty in the community are confident that NEO could be a moonshot in both valuation and adoption. Within 5 years, NEO’s market cap is poised to rise and land it in the top 5 coins.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC or ETH, what good to own now?? on: April 17, 2019, 04:21:57 PM
As promising as cryptocurrencies are, the technology is still new. Tomorrow may bring a new platform that gets right what everyone else got wrong. The technology is volatile, as is the pricing. However, if you view Litecoin or Ethereum as speculative investments, a small part of your portfolio could go a long way if either of these cryptocurrencies gains widespread acceptance
