Pool is working now! I am already mining . Well, I have to take it back. We have done 1800% shares, but no block was found in the pool so far, while I mine one block in 15-20 minutes solo. I am waiting for response from the pool owner (vanish9 is his nickname). |

Maybe it would be good to have a poll to see if people agree to this new topic and your takeover of the coin. Great way to measure commitment Good idea. But taking over? I am not a developer. All I can do is the administration of this forum. I will do it responsibly, keeping in mind importance of the thread. But I really cannot takeover of the coin. |

ANNOUNCEMENT We found some problems with the code of 66coin, so are willing to help you guys out. You have to first start a new thread though, where we can put the links to the updated wallets. We do not want this responsibility, so are wondering who can do this. It should be an involved member of the community and does not entail more than copy pasting the opening post of this thread (quote and take the code) and adjusting the links every once in a while and add pools if possible. We will not update the wallet if nobody stands up to do this. ok thats conclusion but what about activities from new team?
I suggested getting together 0.1 BTC which is required from setting up explorer. We will not help 66coin at the cryptocoin revival foundation, before we can be sure that the guge premine is frozen (we don't know if it's still in one wallet) To find out, we have to trace the money around and for this we need a block explorer. This would take us a lot of work and we would have to pay for hosting, so we ask 0.1 BTC for doing this. Small fee compared to what commercial players pay. Great. Hi all.
Please help: my Ant S1 has stopped work exactly after 3 months.
In Miner Status I constantly see ''This section contains no values yet''. Fan is working, but slowlier than it used to. Miner configuration: as always, I didn't change anything. In Overview I see from 3 to 16 connections (0%). There is connection to the internet (Ant do not beep). Green light in the middle of the first blade flashing (the blade, where is connector for ethernet cable).
I tried: Switch off and on several times. Clean it from dust. Reboot system.
What else should I try? Thank you.
eligius is in fail-safe and seems totally down. try adding a backup pool in case its your pool and not the miner yeah I would check the pool you are on. try pointing to another, there's one -VV- just down there -VV- Yes, it was the pool problem (Eligius). Although it appeared running, it wasn't. Thank you! Ant S1 FOREVER!! |

Considering that there will be eventually 66 coins, @0.25 BTC each they equal 16,5 BTC final capitalization. Hope the value of coin rises, otherwise pardon me but we are talking about nuts..
In order to mine those 66 coins it needs a much higher hashpower, thus difficulty would go much higher as well. Only solomining now, so you have to be patient O yeah: I solo-mine . But not for sale at this price. |

the difficulty of the 66 coin is once more surprising... till yesterday near 0.15, today around 0.08... can you guess a possible explaination?
I'm still keeping the wallet active in the background, so to help the network - and I suggest that you all should do the same.
Taking in account existed buy order on C-Cex at 0.25BTC, with this difficulty 66coin is the most profitable coin to mine . |

Ok, so the name and the concept of the coin will not be 66. Then, its new coin...maybe its better to change concept (pow/pos, algo or something)...just taking ideas.
Lets make 99coin: 99 coins per block, max amount 99M. Premined 6.6% = 6,534,000 will be used to exchange: ONE 66coin = 99k 99coin. Offer will be alive for 99 days from the start of the new coin. After that the rest of premine will go straight to a worldwide charity, i.e. Red Cross (after changing to $). |
