I got my LTC out a while ago. Nickasa has been a standup guy in my opinion and was managed to deal with the pool issues quite well considering he was sick the past week.
One question though, I just noticed on the website no khash/mhash speeds are showing for me or the pool ,but my miners are still submitting. Are the shares still be counted?
I have this problem as well and I was wondering if this was going to be addressed. |

With PPNLS, you are subjected to variance and if you run into some bad variance, then your earnings are GREATLY reduced when compared to a PPS (pay per share) pool. The PPNLS advocates report that OVER time, it will even out or be slightly better. In my time mining with PPNLS, I earned considerably less then I did with PPS.
Therefore, you could have 3-5 days of bad luck with a PPNLS pool and see the difficulty change twice on you and have severely reduced earnings.
I will still mine at notroll and just withdraw daily. There is a reason a PPS pool is the largest.
PPNLS is subject to variance, yes - but it can go either way. You can also make more than your expectation if the pool happens to have a "lucky" day. If the pool is large enough (and there are a couple that are), then variance is pretty much not a factor. I switched from notroll.in to a PPNLS pool (give-me-ltc) about 10 days ago and I have made at least 50% MORE than I did at notroll.in every single day. Some days I was nearly +100%. I come very close to my expectation (via calculator based on hashrate, after pool cut) every day - some days I'm slightly over, some days I'm slightly under. If I average the 10 days, I'm nearly exactly where I should be, expectation-wise. The variance criticism of PPNLS is really only valid for small pools. Large ones are going to be finding blocks quickly enough that luck swings are going to smooth out over pretty short timeframes. I spent 3-4 days with give-me-ltc.com PPNLS pool and EVERY day I made less then I would have with PPS pool. I say let people try it and see what they find out. First off, go to blockchain.info and paste the transaction ID into their search engine. It has a timestamp of when the bet was placed. This is all the proof you need. I noticed you failed to do this which suggests that you were probably taking a shot at them.
I have found bit365 to make a mistake here or there but they are generally honest folks. The other night, I thought they had made a mistake but it was I who had actually made the mistake--in writing down my betid. I PM'd them about it for about 2 hours and it was explained to me where my mistake was at. It was all cleared up quite professionally.
Therefore, I wager ALOT at bit365 and simply do not believe your story.

guys, your payouts suck because PPNLS payouts based on a formula. This formula stops hoppers and is great and all except for one caveat. If the pool runs into bad luck--your payouts are greatly affected. There is a post somewhere on bitcointalk that explains PPNLS.
The reason there are so many PPNLS pools stems from the fact that it is the most optimal for a pool operator. PPS (pay per share) is the most risky for a pool operator but pays miners the most with no variance.
PPNLS is based on the assumption that luck over the long time will even out. However, with LTC difficulty changing so fast--you will lose money vs PPS.

Before, I was getting double the shares and I had my account reduced. Now, only half my shares are being counted and will the other 1/2 that are not being counted--will they be credited?
