Basically yes! But Not at all, maybe majority to those who dumped after they get their token. But there's a lot of bounty hunters also that after they get it. They keep it and hold for a long term.

As i remember, december or Q4 when they list to exchange. And that time you can't trade ins. Except all investor who have ins on their dashboard.
January 2018 they distributed the bounty reward for bounty hunter and i think that is the reason why ins dumped.

For me, waves are good also, but it doesn't mean waves can defeat the bitcoin. This two crypto have their own blockchain and have different personalities. And bitcoin make a large mark on this world that waves can't. On my opinion waves can't defeat bitcoin.

My brother in law named "geybs" and i participate on their ico last year. And he have plenty of ins. I have only 39 ins that time and sell to its highest peak worth 3$. And now I'm back to buy more.
Waiting also to launched their mainet and i think it would cause a massive return to our investment.

The sleeping giant for me are, (OMX) project shivom, (ETN) electroneum, (INS) ins ecosystem, (ADA) cardano, and lastly is my one and only shitcoin (OCC) original crypto coin.

And those are my holdings right now, and to hold for a long run.
You can check those altcoins too mate they have a high potential for next year and one of the sleeping giant for the year.

There's a lot of way to get free coins/tokens.
You can participate on any bounties but you need to be atleast a jr member and higher.
But since you are a newbie i suggest that social media campaign is the only way to get free coins.
Also airdrop, selfdrop too(need gas fee, totally not free lol).
Participate on other project that have refferal program but you need to invite people who want to invest in.
