there is nothing called bitcoin encryption, but sha-256 or aes encryption, used by bitcoin core wallets to encrypt your keys. The are several claims to have quantum supremacy, like googles claim last year, but it is more likely a flaw in system upgrades to lightnining might be more vulnerable than quantum computers. look at the defi hacks earlier this year. |

This one image below includes the private key under the Keystore  So, what I think is the BIP32 private key(xprv) you can use that to recover your wallet. Try to copy the xprv under the wallet file that you open using notepad++ then install the latest wallet from another device or PC and import the private key(xprv) to your new wallet. Or use this https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ and paste it to the BIP32 root key then go to the derivation path and choose bip32 it must show all of your addresses then get the address and check them one by with block explorer until you found the address with balance. After you find the address with balance get the private key under that address and import it to your Electrum wallet as a new wallet. не ведитесь, это мошенники сегодня я потерял 20$. Все файлы были повреждены, один пуст, а другой на 10000BTC watch-only.

Жаль конечно что вас киданули, но вы проверьте может у вас архив недокачался. Сейчас скажут еще что это мой ак и я сам себе отзывы пишу, кто то на шару хочет файлов, шара закончилась. Я помню этого персонажа, он у меня еще что то покупал с кошельков. Самое обидное все в этом что люди отдают очень большие средства за фейк, нежели купить у меня за самую минимальную оплату сатоши диска или списаться и перевести в другой крипте, но также даже не на 0.10 битка а на 10$ обманывают меня, в мире бардак твориться, разные личности есть, меня раз 5 уже кидали на моем доверии, ну 10 баксов это очень низко, взрослые не будут таким страдать, скорей всего школота, вон смотрите мою тему, помимо того что я дал файлы в перед так еще хотели завладеть средствами с карты, а я такой добрый нате то се вам - не жалко, нужно менять отношение к людям в интернете, в интернете не люди..... Файл REAL (10000BTC), поэтому вы просто ищете неправильное место. Возможно, продавец мошенник, но кошелек существует. |

это не холодный кошелек это внебиржевой кошелек. Я знаю, откуда это, и у меня есть подсказки для продажи Ну так о любом файле можно сказать, толку с инфы, ее только может знать хозяин и не факт что помнит. по крайней мере я не продаю пустые или смотрю только кошельки |

someone who is really a "whale" is never going to give any kind of indication of being an actual whale unless they are braindead in which case they won't remain a whale for long or the most possible scenario is that they are scamming others which seems to be the case here. that is no to mention that a whale doesn't waste their time on social media... You can follow JOE007\s positions on Twitter, and I am sure if you see the amounts he is moving, you will not disagree that this is a whale. |

To check their balance, simply copy an address ( addr=) and paste it on a blockexplorer ( https://blockstream.info/), just take note of the private keys of the ones with balance. Awesome, I have the addresses and all their keys, but in the dump there are, about 4000 address lines and the first few lines have all shown no transactions or balance. Don't know if this is ELI5 enough ( old post of mine -edited-): - Start 'Bitcoin-qt' as administrator, then open 'window->console'
- Enter walletpassphrase your-passphrase 240
- Enter dumpwallet keys.txt (you can change 'keys' into any name that you want)
- Go to the installation directory of your Bitcoin core and find "keys.txt", open it and find the addresses' private keys, list of strings that start with '5', 'K' or 'L'.
- Download Electrum Windows Stand-alone Executable from electrum.org
- If your addresses starts with '3' or 'bc1', you'll need to import each prv keys to electrum using the option "Import Bitcoin addresses or private keys" by pasting each keys per line using:
p2wpkh-p2sh:YOUR_Private_key if your addresses starts with '3'
p2wpkh:YOUR_Private_key if your addresses starts with 'bc1' - If they start with '1', just paste the private keys.
Looking at the dump again, trying not to dox myself, I see the extended private master key and then the plethora of addresses and private keys before them, as well as an hdseed=1, reserve=1 and hdkeypath=m/0... on each line. My keys all start with K or L, don't see any 5's and my addresses all start with 3. The other problem I'm seeing is how ill copy and paste over 4000 strings into Electrum. the master private key could be entered at iancoleman.io |

A good customer of mine lost his 2fa and can't find the seed.
Is there anything I can do with this wallet?
I am going to post this here and hope someone has a general idea while I go and research what I can do with Kali....Maybe I can spin up an AWS VM with graphics cards or just use my own Alienware 1080 GTX to cycle through all the combinations...
Any ideas appreciated.

If you have an idea of the password and the json file you can brute force it. Download john the ripper from github to extract the hash then use hashcat to bruteforce the password. if its less that 6 characters will be very fast. |

What do you mean by joehoe return 870BTC to the owners? There was a big security flaw with blockchain.info in which they reused R values, which essentially allows an attacker to calculate the private key from the public key. Several users had their coins stolen, and so the user johoe who first detected the flaw emptied the other wallets which were at risk, to the tune of 870 BTC, and returned the coins back to blockchain.info to be redistributed to the rightful owners. Good day.
I have a wallet from blockchain.info which is version 2. The wallet is decrypted.
I have a technical question regarding the xpriv.
Blockchain uses two different xpriv in there wallet backups, one after the 2016 upgrade to v3 and one xpriv from the old wallet.
Is it possible to generate addresses from the v2 xpriv? Or how was that done?
Any source?
Also, does anyone know if blockchain.info used 12 words pre 2016 upgrade?
