Not really. You always have a chance to do that but the chance is so slim that there is really no point. You will waste your electricity, your time, and your desktop will probably die, and you will die too because of the overheating of the desktop and the noise that it produces... Just crazy if you ever owned a rig and don't have the proper equipment. |

I've been loosely following bitcoin over the past year or so and finally decided to see if I could earn any of my own back in February. I've read a few recent threads here, and I have to say, contrary to popular opinion, I managed to earn 0.0025+ satoshi only using faucets. I lost 0.0005+ satoshi due to changing network fees and fumbling around to find a wallet that would accept small deposits (xapo!). I then lost another 0.001 satoshi getting caught in the bitcity.biz scam.
Needless to say, once bitten, twice shy. Rumours around the 'net say you have to have a thick skin to engage on this board, not sure if that's true in this particular newbie forum or not, but just saying the rumours I've heard. I actually thought maybe those rumours could be of some assistance to me. When scammers are not tolerated, its easier for helpful info to rise to the surface.
I am experimenting to see if it's possible to earn a decent amount of satoshi on my own without affiliates as I am a terrible marketer and most of my friends don't appreciate affiliate systems in general. So if I can do this on my own, I will be blogging about it and hopefully helping others do the same.
Based on what I was seeing over the past two months, various investment platforms will begin as low as 0.001 investment. The two that seem to be above board according to some sources are Coin factory and AdmiralBTC. Would anyone agree, disagree or suggest something more reputable? At the moment I have the bulk of earned satoshi over at freebitco.in since they began doing the 4.08% annual interest. Got my first 11 satoshi in interest this morning.
Step one was to prove to myself that one could indeed earn enough satoshi to begin building it.
Step two is to choose the safest, most secure method to do the growing while continuing to earn more satoshi. I would love as many honest responses as I can get on this one. I'm not much of a risk taker and I agree with the slogan: invest only what you are prepared to lose. As I said, I've already lost 0.001 satoshi trying to figure this out. That's a lot of faucet hours! (first .001 took just over a month, second .001 took exactly two weeks, a few hours here and there each day as I could spare)
Step three is to grow the satoshi via investment and earnings to a level where I can use Xapo's debit card to do things like pay for groceries or buy gas. Although that brings me to another question:
Xapo and another wallet both deal only in btc, USD, or in the other wallet's case, also Euro. Neither deal in CAD, although Xapo does have a CAD wallet that auto-created for me when I created my account. I live in Canada. So exchange rates would have to happen at the point of sale rather than at the wallet. Is there a wallet out there that offers a debit card going from BTC to CAD?
I look forward to hearing some helpful advice. You never know, I might just cite you in my blogging about this adventure.
You're definitely not going to do well on faucets. However it seems like that you are intending to only do faucets, we cannot stop you. It's your choice, after all. But be warned that after a few weeks/or even days you will become so bored of solving captchas that you literally would rather to your schoolwork than to continue reaping the faucet. If you were determined to do faucet work though, make sure that you invest the proceeds. Freebitco.in investment only offers 4% per annum, i suggest polo or bitfinex which is currently not in a good state lending. |

We are not and have not bought any coins off the exchange, and have no intention of doing so. Still no sign of promised 2% bonus for early miners...
I offer my continued apologies on this matter. So all this is a scam? Just for couple if Btc? The guy who dumped on the Bittrex was Dev?   look at this terrible price.I don't think miners will sell their coins in this every low price.I doubt that maybe the team have many hidden coins and now they dump them all to exchange BTC. We have not sold any coins, we have not got any coins due to 0 premine. Michael   This is unfortunately not something I can comment on, but I can assure that I've personally seen and used the panel for our debit card services, and you can also see this in action in the first post. Regarding the absence of MidasCoin, he's delayed his return for longer than expected. There is many weird things, something look really like planned scam. i think team must show some proof to community , most important is proof about backed gold. |

Can i just say , if you caught this boat early, you could have easily made 20-30 BTC from a 1 or 2 BTC investment when cloak was released on Bittrex. I myself walked away with around 50BTC just dealing with cloak in the early days, the issue here is some people bought at peak 100-200k or other used the early profit to rebuy at peak which was a silly things to do , really silly...
Your mistake was marrying the coin and if you paid attention to the graphs which clearly showed cloak bubble already happened at that time and it was way to risky to buy at that stage you wouldn't be pissed off now.
Now This post is filled with hate and bitterness , cloak was a good coin to begin with its just some of you invested in the wrong stage when others already cashed out.
The majority of the post clearly show a lot of immaturity and is on the border line ridiculous.
Learn from your mistake and move on.

Why ppl sell at this price if it's guaranted ? There is no sense Yes, why are people selling and missing out on 50% of their profit? There's no sense in that.  People were selling as low as 17k satoshi, we're backing the price at 33k satoshi. That's pretty much 50% loss. Real screenshots would definitely have a good impact on the price. Encrypted Messaging was the last update. I can just hurry rates for Aero  , coin is good but can not get out of 4000 sat,can prepare for the new year surprise for all owners  How can you say it can't get out of 4000 sats? It was up to 8000 sats not long ago! This coin is doing everything right imo and the price will rise massively when the time is right! If it's rushed it will never reach its full potential!
