41  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Bitcoin Block explorer & Currency Statistics on: September 19, 2015, 11:57:13 AM
Hello,

Out of a sudden my ISP ip got blacklisted:

Error 1006 Ray ID: 227f196a2ecc1a4e • 2015-09-18 18:26:27 UTC

Access denied

What happened?

The owner of this website (blockchain.info) has banned your IP address (193.107.36.30).

CloudFlare Ray ID: 227f196a2ecc1a4e • Your IP: 193.107.36.30 • Performance & security by CloudFlare

Could you please help? I had 3-4 cron jobs daily that was running and using a call to blockchain.info. What could have caused this?
Thanks
193.107.36.30 is the IP address of yours or your web host ?
Of my web host, and this actually happens from two other hostings that I tried from. I tried with another wallet and it's the same...
I guess, you are trying to access their API. Have you tried whitelisting the server IP from the account settings in wallet ?
I whitelisted everything, even removed any IP restrictions, API access is enabled. Any ideas?

P.S. And anything over 1% fee is huge for the volume that you have, I was sacrificing 3% for getting your great service and don't expect to have such downtimes for that. You should be making a no fees week after every such problem as a compensation to you users.

That can be an interesting discussion. So as you can see here: https://faucetbox.com/stats, 1.4% of all deposits is what we have to pay to the network as network fees (that's an average since the beginning, we manage to get it lower and lower with time). So you expect us to pay that 0.4% from our empty pockets. And then we have to pay for the servers, not speaking about any salary for us. You know, a powerful server for 6 daemon nodes, another powerful server to manage a few dozens of gigabytes of payouts data and a powerful server for a website. With 1.4% lost to network, 1.5% is what's left to us. For now, since the beginning of FaucetBOX.com, it equals to ~14 BTC. And that must be enough for tools we use, for couple servers and for couple people constantly developing a website, responding to support tickets and keeping it all together for about 10 months now. We basically run the service without any salary on our end, so if you think that could run something like this for 1% fee then I'd honestly love to hear suggestions (no irony here, really).

I agree then, no discussions here. I though the volume was bigger, and forgot the network fees. 3% reasonable then, considering you also have other sources of income (and good that you have). Else it would be small, yes.

Please don't delete comments about the unsynced deposits and tell us when is the expected time when we will see them in our balances.

Does this script allow to log in with your xapo email instead using your bitcoin wallet?

I scratched a ticket, it's nice that it's all fast and simple. Like 1 second after my payment I was playing my ticket.

Not that I read the whole thread, but such a small losing streak is so common that it's far from a proof of rig.

52  Economy / Gambling / Re: What type of Gambling do you prefer? on: March 09, 2015, 08:17:34 AM
I prefer poker but I lost a lot there, so now I'm trying lottos with good jackpots. Hate blackjack, like roullete. THere has to be a chance to bet small and win big.

Oh nvm then. I wouldn't spend more than 5 bucks on a script with a lot other free versions. Will try them then.

Hi, Do you have it more simple without passwords and messages? And what would be the fee.
I've actually now come to a point that it's half working and might try to finish it myself if I'm not too lazy.

Hi,

I have the same problems! Did you find a solution?
56  Economy / Service Discussion / Blockchain.info official pay-demo on: February 22, 2015, 08:09:26 PM
Hello,

I've been struggling a lot to make this work:

https://github.com/blockchain/receive_payment_php_demo

Has somebody used it? Isn't it supposed to work? I tried it on an empty domain, empty database, ran setup.php, only changed the settings in include.php for my database, wallet and domain but after a payment it just opens order_status.php with zero values for pending and received and nothing inserted in the database.

If anyone could help, leave your address for tips.

Thanks
