Guys
I have followed the instructions here and im not getting the same results...Vega 56 with 64 bios. If i use 1012+1012 i see a hashrate of about 800 h/s but if i raise the intensity to anything above that i get 0 h/s. If i check pool side it shows 400 h/s
Am i missing something ?
-block chain drivers -hbmm at max i have 16gb -windows 10 -gpu min state 1050 P6 -gpu max state 1150 P7 -Mem at 950 -voltage at 1000 on both gpu and mem
I do have the 64 bios on the vega 56
Any help would be appreciated

66watts
well. 160watt and speed 43-44mhs - as I posted before - current best Vega results mining eth. To achieve better efficiency we need some miner/driver change or mem timings hack. UPDATE... the 43.7 was for Expanse Just tried the same settings with ETH 38.5

UPDATE
So i changed to the drivers 17.9.1 and with claymore 10 and im getting 43.7mh(Vega Sapphire 56) at a total system wattage of around 220. That includes an I3-7320 and 2x 2tb hard drives so i think that is pretty good.
What i did
1. Install fresh copy of win 10 2. Installed 17.9.1 drivers 3. Using wattman i changed the GPU clock to 1000 and the Mem clock to 1100 hit apply 4. Then i lowered the power limit to 10% and hit apply( lowering the power limit is not actually lowering the wattage at the wall) 5. Then i took the power limit back to default ...hit applied and rebooted the PC
Hope this helps someone
this is pretty good. if you had the mining shut off what does the 220 watts drop to? 66watts

so far the 17.8.2 BUT the hashrate jumps around a lot...starts off at 43.1 and then goes down ...so im not sure if its the driver, wattman or my PSU at the moment. Going to try the blockchain drivers next .
GPU clock 1000 Mem clock 1100

Are you guys only using Afterburner or are you also using wattman to lower the wattage. I just received my Vega 56 Sapphire
Im using Afterburner 4.4 beta 16 Windows 10 fresh install
900 core 925 mem...more than this it locks up -15 power
and im at 225 from the wall 35mh with the block chain drivers
any help would be appreciated

Thanks Gary
I tried that and no luck. It has to be something to do with the miner trying to start all the 1060's and the 1070's at the same time
arrrrrr

Guys,
I have an issue with one of my rigs that i cannot figure out. I have
asus z270-a 6 GTX 1060's 6gb 2 GTX 1070
IF i start afterburner before i start the miner the computer freezes. I have switched the motherboard with a new one, the processor with a new one(G4400) i have switched the memory, i have re installed a fresh copy of windows 10, i have changed out my PSU's...I even added more than enough power to see if its a power issue but nothing....
The only thing i can think of is because i have 6 1060's and 2 1070's something is not working correctly at the start of claymore. I have also tried 9.7 and 9.8 and the ame thing happens....
Does anyone know if its possible to delay an instance of claymore by lets say 30 seconds ? I know how to run different instances but cannot figure out if it possible to delay one of them....
I want to be able to set it up so that if the rig restarts it can start running the instances with AB
Thanks in advance

Hi All,
Has anyone updated the bios on this board yet ? on the Asrock site they have listed a new one a few days ago but unfortunately it does not state what the updates are.
My internet speed is horrible with this board so im looking to update it if it helps
Thanks in advance

so i tried the steps above to a tee on a MSI armor 4gb 580 and the wattage is a lot higher than what i was getting using claymore 9.7 and using the bat file for my clocks :-(

so dont apply the patch ?

Anyone getting a flashing screen after the updates ?
I have cleared the drivers out several times and nothing
RX 480's Modded and overclocked...hashing fine
Also once in a while i get white noise across the entire screen ?
Thanks in advance

Hi Guys,
For the life of me i cannot get the fan settings to work. Im trying to not use afterburner. I am using 9.7 with modded RX 470's . Im trying to keep the temps no higher than 70 and the fan speed around 50
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool stratum+tcp://us.ubiqpool.io:8008 -ewal 0x926957F22b01b2E100078DF71Cf33377E0b0C9a9 -epsw x -eworker tampaminer-1 -epsw x -allcoins 1 -cvddc 875 -mvddc 875 -cclock 1170 -mclock 2040 -tt -50
Thanks in advance

Thats what i thought but i have measured the wattage with a meter and it goes up when i lower the clocks

Hi Guys
I don't understand why lowering the core clock raises the temps and the voltage on my GTX 1070's on afterburner.
Wouldn't it be the opposite ?

Hi All,
I have one rig with a weird issue.
Asrock H110 BTC+ 6x GTX 1060's and 2 1070's Calymore 9.7 372.54 drivers Afterburner 4.3
In order to start claymore i need to make sure that afterburner is not running. If not it freezes windows. Same thing goes for shutting it down. Afterburner needs to be shutdown first
Any thoughts ?
This board is a pain
Thanks in advance

Yes they are overclocked using afterburner.
I have uninstalled afterburner and that did not help
