Don't use paypal. TRy other option. paypal is banning some peoples account for trading bitcoin. They don't want competition.
What can you use if you can't use PayPal, it's the only reliable way to handle money.

44  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Escrow question on: February 17, 2014, 04:08:58 PM
There should be a website for escrow, something a script should handle not a person.

im trusted and do free escrow

I am not trading just yet but when I am I might contact you to set something up.

I think he wasn't being serious.

He seems to know what he is doing and I don't think I could trust a script or a website to handle the money just in case that got hacked beucase I'm sure it would be a big target for hackers.

I was thinking a website of the level of PayPal.

Mining is no longer profitable unless you have a high budget and can get hold of new tech when it is released and sell it just before the difficulty rises its a very risky market but can pay off in the 1000+

What should you do then if you don't have a high budget?
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Dope coin Buy/Sell Thread on: February 17, 2014, 03:19:44 PM
A genuine seller here WTS 4000 for 1 btc. Has taken me since launch at 20mh to get this so even 80mh would only have 16000. Message me if interested. No newbie scammers please. Btc payment made first

Why should you be trusted?
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Is there a minimum time to be mining a pool to have any results? on: February 17, 2014, 03:13:18 PM
For example, if mining with Deepbit is there a minimum time one must run cgminer to have anything added to their Deepbit account balance?

52  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT BITCOINS! MUST READ! on: February 17, 2014, 02:42:11 PM
You can add few more myth's to list
* BTC is not legal
* btc will die soon
and there are so many other myths circulating around..!

I was about to ask, since when it's not legal and then I remembered you're talking about myths.
But I have to ask you: why do you think BTC isn't going to die soon?

54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 17, 2014, 02:24:59 PM
What is the best way to overclock Kepler with GPUs?

I don't think there is a "best" way to do it.

What i do is:
1. Get the best configuration possible using cuda miner
2. Set memory clock to the lowest possible point (Mine is -502).
3. Increase the GPU clock by 10.
4. Wait 15 mins to see if you have any errors
5. If no errors or driver crashes go to step 3 else go to step 6.
6. If there are driver crashes or errors reduce gpu clock by 10
7. Profit!

Thanks for the tips!
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: STOP POSTING RESERVED, ALSO NO GIVEAWAYS/PROMOS ETC. on: February 17, 2014, 02:18:15 PM
I'm new here, does reserved mean they're going to edit their post later and put something else?

why don't you disable edit button after a while?
You cannot really do that because posts have to remain modifiable for example the first post of a thread. The post gets modified to reflect new changes and procedures.

Oh I see the problem.

60  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What determines the price of Bitcoin? on: February 17, 2014, 02:40:23 AM
When more new people start mining for Bitcoins, does that add up to the value of Bitcoin?

I don't understand the question.

If you are asking if additional miners causes an increase in value, then the answer is no. (or at least not directly).  Additional miners does increase the security of bitcoin.  Because it is more secure, some people might trust it more.  That additional trust might result in those individuals being willing to spend more money to acquire it.  And if they actually do spend more money to acquire it, then the value will be higher.  So, I suppose it might indirectly influence the perceived value, which will lead to an increased value.

If you are asking if an increase in value causes more new people to start mining, then the answer is probably.  An increase in value makes mining more profitable.  More profitable mining makes more people want to get involved in mining so that they can earn some of that extra profit.

Both answers were needed! Thanks.
