41  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Crypto-Gambling.Net 🔥 Crypto Casino Reviews By A Real Insider ✅ on: June 03, 2021, 07:35:24 PM
And I am not sure what you mean by good examples. The GamblingSiteFinder one doesn't even have rankings based on reviews. The rankings on the front page are manually picked and seem to be based on who's paying the most. That doesn't seem very transparent. - Their reviews themselves look good though.

Firstly, thank you very much for taking the time to visit and critique my site. Good or bad, I appreciate the honesty from your first impressions on my site. I know every website owner says that they don't take affiliate commissions into consideration when conducting reviews, but there are some additional things I do to try and be more transparent.

For starters, the obvious is that some of my highest ranked sites don't even have affiliate programs eg. Bustabit and Bustadice.

Next, while all of my outbound links are cloaked, if you click through them you'll see that many aren't even affiliate links. This is most noticeable/impactful in the Poker category (particularly the sites in the top 5), but this is also true about the Software, Exchange, Forex, DFS, and Training categories as well.

Lastly, if you go to my site's changelog you'll see which reviews are monetized. Almost every review is in fact monetized, but I do at least try to be upfront about that. In the future I plan to put disclosures within the review pages themselves.

I don't think user votes are particularly useful, as most users aren't familiar with the industry to give informed votes. And you'll just get some dodgy casino that incentivizes users to vote on your site, and skew things for ever.  But it could definitely be nice to have as a "editors rating" and "players rating" perhaps.

This exactly. Right now my site allows players to leave a star rating between 1-5, but having both and allowing visitors to see the discrepancy between the editor and the player pool is a much better method.

And to your point about dodgy casinos incentivizing users to cast votes, this is entirely true. I've already had two online gambling sites (both of which are no longer listed) do exactly what you said - give thousands of 1-star ratings to each of their competitors and 5-star ratings to themselves.

According to their webpage, it's more or less in exchange for a backlink. But even if it was for cash, I don't really think that's problematic as long as they're not changing the reviews/score based on it. (Of course we don't know that for certain...
But that's really the thing. If you receive money(Or even just a good backlink for that matter) from a site in exchange for something that may be meaningless in itself, you do also have greater incentive to intentionally or unintentionally for that matter manipulate the scores in their favor. It only really have to be marginals to actually make a difference there.

I guess there is no way for me to prove that I don't accept money in exchange for better rankings aside from just taking my word for it. But regarding the backlink, we actually request that it be a "No Follow" link, which holds far less value [if any at all] than a "Do Follow" link. IMHO, that was the most fair and honest way.

This is all a meaningless discussion though because to date there hasn't been a single site that has reached out to me about regarding the Trusted Partner program.  Cry

I'm sorry for coming into your thread and turning the discussion towards my site. I just went and checked out Crypto-Gambling.net and it looks like you're off to an excellent start. I wish you the best of luck, and if you'd ever like to chat hit me up!

Hey! Just wanted to give you props for being in business and honest for so long. I've always been really harsh on review sites, as they as a rule always end up going around asking for money or realize it's profitable to promote bullshit. So thought I'd congratulate you on bucking the industry trend, and give you a link in my signature (partly because I have nothing better to do with my signature, partly because I think your site is the best resource for someone to get an idea of what sites to play at) Cheesy

Thank you so much, RHavar! I really appreciate the support! Smiley I'm smiling from ear to ear!

Regarding the current rankings, which site(s) do you disagree with? I'd like to think I do a pretty good job at staying up-to-date with online gambling news, complaints, and scams (and as a result have quite accurate rankings), but I definitely have been wrong before!

Why  SatoshiHIll is not listed into ur site , SatoshiHIll is very popular

SatoshiHill is violating the terms of bustabit's open source license and should
not be considered trustworthy. You can read more about the topic here:

45  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cryptocurrency Casino Sites? on: April 07, 2021, 03:35:18 AM
Hi OP! I research these kinds of questions every day. Listed below are the most popular, reputable crypto casinos at the moment (in no particular order). I've also included links to their respective threads here on BitcoinTalk, plus a list of the games offered at each site.

Happy to answer any questions you have!  Smiley

I noticed you're asking about sites that cater to North America, but without knowing which North American country in particular, it'll be hard to give you a great recommendation.
46  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unikrn.com on: March 28, 2021, 04:21:13 PM
Make no mistake, Unikrn is a reputable esportsbook with notable investors.

While Unikrn does accept numerous cryptocurrencies, they also require KYC information prior to withdrawing. I'm not surprised that there isn't a thread dedicated to Unikrn on BitcoinTalk because the site clearly favorites the fiat market, not cryptocurrencies.

Regarding their TrustPilot reviews, Unikrn's "3.1 out of 5.0" rating is not really indicative of how trustworthy the site really is. It appears there may be some sort of negative attack on Unikrn at the moment (perhaps a competitor?).

There was a 7,410,457.6x multiplier at Bustabit yesterday.  Shocked

https://www.bustabit.com/game/4422772

The Highest cashout was a 2 bit bet at 4000x.

the largest win was a 60 bit bet that cashed out at 519.25x for a nice .031 BTC return.

What site should be reviewed next?   Huh

50  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: March 22, 2021, 06:08:07 PM
Kindly provide your username via pm lets look into this issue for you.
Note: you do not need to verify your account to make a withdrawal.
The verification is required for the predictor event which is optional or in the event we detect a fraudulent/ suspicious activity from a user.

Does this mean that players from restricted countries like the UK and USA can play at Betnomi, so long as they use a VPN?

I know that Betnomi's T&C state that players from these countries cannot play at the site, but is it more of a "Don't ask, don't tell" situation?
51  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustadice – Next Generation Dice on: March 14, 2021, 07:31:47 AM
Just summing up profits of all the alt accounts on Bustadice, it's around 159B.
I lost around 50B on Bustabit before. So the net profit is around 100B.

Absolutely insane winnings, D217! Shocked Congrats!
52  Economy / Gambling / Re: GamblingSiteFinder.com — Ranking The World's Best Online Gambling Site on: March 14, 2021, 07:19:16 AM
The last update of the site was LAST UPDATE: Jan. 20, 2021, I hope in your next update I can see Betfury and Duelbits, both are new sites but they turned up to be good gambling sites, reputable with a lot of gamblers coming into play, it's good that you have a strict criterion this is to give visitors only the best.

That "Last Update" bar wasn't updating properly. Check again, I just fixed it.

Regarding your suggestions, Betfury, Duelbits, and Gamdom are three sites that are absolutely on my radar and will be added soon.

Any other site suggestions?

UFC?? Damn! Very impressive, Stake.com!
55  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustadice – Next Generation Dice on: March 04, 2021, 07:27:20 PM
Yes, anyone who played Bustadice can see that it is a screenshot of tipping history.
You can see the ID (TTPOL) on the top right and also it shows how I manage bankroll.
I regularly tip the earnings to the account STOREPOL.
At the moment, I am playing with two accounts: jspol and gmpol.

Be careful not to dox yourself, D217!

I'd suggest regularly moving funds off Bustadice from your alt accounts and into a secure wallet.

It sounds like you were playing OFC 2-7, where the middle row is the best low hand, and anything over a 10 low is a foul. Thus a fullhouse would be a foul in the middle. Check your hand history to see if this was the case.

No, I think he talks about a real but minor bug in the high variations.

To be more specific, let's say that we are in fantasy land with the possibility of setting two full houses with AAA, KKK, 99 and 22. If we place AAA22 at the bottom and KKK99 in the middle, the "foul detector" reacts and invites us to place AAA99 at the bottom and KKK22 in the middle. It would therefore seem that instead of taking into account only the rank of the trips it does it for the rank of the trips and for the rank of the pair.

I have already forced this situation to see if the hand actually ends up being invalidated and it is not. So this is just a minor bug.

Fernando is correct, this occurred while playing OFCp Progressive, not 2-7.

I set a FH on the bottom and a weaker FH in the middle. When I clicked the "Play" button, I was prompted with the error message stating that I was going to commit a foul if I continued. I ignored the message and continued without issue; the hand did not actually foul.

On one occasion I did witness another player change his hand construction because he/she was afraid to risk it. It may be minor bug, but it certainly has cost some players a little bit of money. But again, if you ignore the message and play your hand how you intended, nothing will happen. Unless of course your hand actually is fouling.

I believe there is new text shown in the Withdraw section of the SwC Poker cashier:

Your withdraw will be slightly less due to Bitcoin network fee. Users pay exact network fee, there is no charge by SwC.

There is a bug in the OFCp Progressive games.

When you are in fantasyland and have the opportunity to play a full house on the bottom and another full house in the middle, you'll be prompted with an error message upon clicking the "Play" button. The error message reads something along the lines of: "Your hand is fouling. Are you sure you want to play this?".

Thought I was going crazy triple and quadruple checking my hand looking for the error (there wasn't one).

Yes, I am the owner of ttpol, ddpol, lnpol, rnpol, pypol and D217.
I am playing with rjpol at the moment.

High roller spotted!

Hey, it's me, your long lost brother.  Grin

Just a heads up to all bankroll investors that Bustabit's commission rate has changed:

Quote
The commission rate is calculated by converting the bankroll to special drawing rights (XDR), then dividing the result by 55,000,000 XDR. The reference exchange rates for Bitcoin and special drawing rights are updated every 24 hours and are made available at /bankroll_stats.csv.
