41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ethereum pay per round has dropped 80% ?? on: February 09, 2021, 03:38:30 PM
I'm guessing this o my affects ethermine pool then because I've been mining Ethereum for the past 16 hours and many shares accepted and also balance grows higher, I don't see any delays or decrease over here, infact with a single gtx1660 super I'm earning 4.11$ right now
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Lots of incorrect share on: February 09, 2021, 03:30:13 PM
Modem? Are you using modem? I have bad experience using modem for mining until I get a router with 4G / LTE capable and the experience changed alot, also if you are using windows 10 you should try other miners, I use phoenix miner through Nicehash and I have over 200 accepted shares before seeing 1 rejected shares
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Stay away from new POW coins on: February 09, 2021, 03:24:01 PM
There are some good proof of work altcoins in the past, around 2017 and 2018 but as time passes by POw coins became limited, I still remember when graft, turtlecoin, loki, Electroneum came into crypto space, those who quickly mined them for a week max made huge amount of money from these coins, now it's DeFi here and there, we have limited PoW coins now so if you find any make sure it's going to worth your time

I made a backplate cooler for my 3090.
So not more throttling, I can steady hash @112-113 MH/s with my settings (290-295W power limit). Without the backplate cooler, the hash goes to 90-95 MH/s after some minutes.

I the cards are on rig, add fans to blow the backplate and the mem chips, it will really help to maintains mem in the 90-100°c range
Damn what are nvidia rtx3090 builders thinking? That's some cool fan modding you got there, I prefer the slim fan setup it will work better on the card because it's very thin, I'm glad I don't go for the cards anyways cos I will have to spend money on fans too, Nvidia got this wrong this time around, this is the type of building you get from AMD cards
45  Economy / Economics / Re: Im big fan of stable coins and this is what I think on: February 08, 2021, 10:43:48 AM
Stable coins aren't really like fiat, they just work like fiat in the digital world, USDT for example have nothing to sure the world that they ate really backed by real world assets or reserve, all we hear from them are nothing but words only, but I don't mind, we can't expect them to show us their reserves or can we?
46  Economy / Economics / Re: Risk-takers always ahead financially on: February 08, 2021, 10:40:38 AM
Understand what you want to take risk on first, hardwork doesn't always mean success if not there will be billions of billionaires in the world today, make sure that what you are thriving on can get you to a better place with just one good turn, I hope you understand what I mean here
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mine with older cards on: February 07, 2021, 03:49:43 PM
You can't, I don't know why others are encouraging you, all the mining softwares out there right now have drop supports for graphic cards like Radeon HD series since 2018 I believe, you can't see any supported miners for the cards anymore, sell them to gamers on ebay and buy rx480 or rx580
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the future of Ethereum smart contracts with +$20 cost of gas? on: February 07, 2021, 03:44:58 PM
EIP1559 is the solution but I don't know when this will triggers and reduce the cost of transaction on Ethereum network, right now Ethereum is not a good place for those who have too less Ethereum coins in their wallets, unfortunately only Ethereum whales will enjoy using Ethereum in this Bullrun
49  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria is now the No.2 bitcoin market on this fast-growing global marketplace on: February 07, 2021, 03:35:40 PM
Am a Nigerian and I can say that the Ban on Crypto-currency by the Central bank of Nigeria is more than safe guarding the country but an approach against the youth of Nigeria, there was a time Nigerian youth was protesting against bad governance and police brutality and for this peaceful protest, they needed money to fund it and the Federal government approached to freezing account, and they shifted to Bitcoin, now they Federal government has decided in a rush to ban crypto-currency.
It seems you've not been updated yet, the news today says the real reason why CBN decide to ban crypto in Nigeria, scam artists (yahoo boys) are now using crypto to cash out defrauded money, they don't make the story up themselves, it's the FBI that gives out this information to Nigeria government

51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Past experience could help the future on: January 30, 2021, 08:05:47 PM
Good projects still exits, my own advice is to never give up and also don't be lazy, so good research and if you are confused enough don't forget to pray that the team don't end up going back on their words or promises, success fundraising doesn't guarantee bounty hunters payments
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is this GPU ok for altcoin mining? on: January 30, 2021, 08:02:11 PM
Lower cost coins might become big later like you said OP but be careful with less difficulty coins, I used to have that mentality in the past that if I can mine some new coins and hold they might be big in future but I was wrong, all those coins turn into scam projects
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot going to Kill Ethereum? on: January 30, 2021, 07:55:11 PM
The KiLL part is where I don't get, If XRP killed after Polkadot took over it's position? The fact is Polkadot have lots to do if the project teams really have in mind to defeat Ethereum, I'm not going to say it's impossible but Im sure it's going to be a very tough thing to achieve
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi project beginning to sounds ridiculous on: January 30, 2021, 07:51:37 PM
HoT Doge isn't hot anymore lol  Grin, all these new DeFi projects are just players, it's why you should play games with such projects only if you are capable, instead of investing money on new DeFi projects that are less popular it's better to go for strong DeFi projects
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters are getting axed harder on: January 29, 2021, 11:10:19 AM
I do make living out of crypto though but not entirely focus on bounties, I have my mining farm and I'm also a trader too, I find my mining to be more effective and live saving because electricity costs is very cheap in my country, don't rely on bounties, they don't always work out
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN RIPPLE SURVIVE? on: January 29, 2021, 11:07:20 AM
XRP have another issue with lawsuits in florida, this is new compares to the one on ground weeks ago now, this can be a big problem for this project, I just hope they end up standing strong like they always do, this space without XRP will sucks cos it's one of my favorite altcoin for trading
57  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: To Rank up is not suppose to be problem on: January 28, 2021, 12:39:55 PM
It could be more harder for old members on this forum to rank up but not newbies, as a newbie once you create a meaningful post or topic you will eventually get merits, you can lose focus if all you have in your mind is getting merited, don't even think about it but give good posts
58  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can centralized parties used blockchain to store data on: January 28, 2021, 12:37:27 PM
Still I won't trust any blockchain projects to keep my data because people like me are responsible for running such data platforms, for example look at decentralized finance, they claimed to differentiate themselves from anything centralized and they can't do one thing right 👉 SECURITY
59  Other / Off-topic / Re: Plagiarism check for all on: January 28, 2021, 12:34:35 PM
This claim is laughable and pointless, people who engage in plagiarism always find the easiest way out, they can't think with their own brain and create something unique out of it, there is no such thing as accidental plagiarism, it's not possible to be accidental, if you see any posts that looks accidental to you drop the link and let's check it out
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH's fees on "De-Fi" platforms are ridiculously high on: January 27, 2021, 03:02:19 PM
It's scary, I noticed that gas fee are fair in coinomi wallet than trust wallet, I was trying to send 11$ USDT to binance exchange and I was charge 9$ in trust wallet but when I used coinomi wallet instantly I was able to choose between low mid and high fee, 4$ for sending USDT, craze, isn't it?
