The UI/UX of Electrum Android is almost similar to the web version so it won't be much difficult for someone who used to the web version with the mobile version.
There are some features lacking in mobile version like entering your custom fee, freezing particular UTXO other than that everything is same.

If English is the spoke language there, then where do people post Hindi? I thought that was the main language over there?
India is highly diverse country with hundreds of languages spoken around the nation and there are 22 recognized languages by the government itself which is why we use the main board to discuss in English language and people who uses Hindi or any regional language has separate Regional Languages (India) childboard for that.
India forum does not have enough activity to get a dedicated merit source now. People in India forum speaks in English and if they may make merit-worthy post, global merit sources can easily cover it. Gloabl merit sources or any merit source doesn't belong to a local board generally don't visit other local boards that is why it is important to have atleast one merit sources for every local board to encourage the quality posters to achieve the numbers they deserve, if the activity is low then the source merit can be allocated according to that.
@TheUltraElite, thanks for coming forward to keep Indian board active, which is going through rough patch for years, hope theymos will consider your application soon. As logfiles mentioned, you also should have included some of the posts from our board since that is what we are trying to address here. |

Just as topic says, I recommend everyone to use whatever the giveaway threads available to bring in some sMerits into them and so that we can use the merit ciculation to somewhat exists or else it will goes to zero. I know it is not the solution that is going to bring change like having dedicated merit source but atleast something is better than nothing. @Hugeblack reopned his merit giveaway thread again so I suggest everyone to post their entry. I have this question for very long time especially when I see max trading limit on exchange goes even upto crores which means potentially people can convert how much amount they have in BTC to INR but there's no way someone who is selling huge amount is going to pay 30% tax and even 1% TDS seems too much considering the value in INR. So what are the possible alternatives you think they convert BTC to INR if they wanted to. Mostly all I see is going to Dubai set up a company and then transfer funds to INR but it's really feasible or how do you think they convert. Let's speculate and bring in all your imagination guys. The proposal is quite tempting to be honest but I kind of agree with @avikz here, different countries and different regulations.
If I am not wrong Crypto is completely banned in Bangladesh and might be the same way the Pakistan is going to be considering their Islamic law but pardon me if I got wrong. While India is taking the different approach like what other developed nations did, trying to regulate and take control over the market and generate fortune in the name of taxes from the fellow citizens.
Regarding the activity, Indian bitcointalk members are not giving attention to Indian board for whatever reason and lack of merit circulation can be one of the reason too.

I was sure that the likes of Kohli and Rohit would retire after the 2022 T-20 WC (at least in the T-20 format) and focus mainly on the Test format but seriously I was dead wrong. After the last T-20 WC, all BCCI did was try new players but things changed for the WC. Rinku was the best performer in the middle order but he got sidelined because Rohit-Kohli had a fixed spot.
I don't think Kohli would retire at any time soon because he is performing consistently at 3 formats and we can say his t20 strike rate is not that high but someone should be trusted to hold one end with this destructive form of cricket. Rinku got sidelined just because of err made by selection committee, there is no need for 4 spin attack and that's where Rinku is supposed to fit. Moving on forward, the form of captain and VC of team India is horrible, not the sign that we wanted to see prior to WC T20. Any chance do we see some changes in the announced squad before deadline? |

Now, every bowler took the wicket but if a wicket a bowler doesn’t take the wicket, then he is Hardik Pandya. Of course and no doubt about this that Hardik Pandya is a downfall for the Mumbai Indian team. After bowling the two overs and getting too much score on that, he didn’t give over to himself as captain because he knew if he came then he would come as the villain for his own team Mumbai Indians.
He is bowling over 9.5 runs per over and is one of the most expensive bowlers for Mumbai Indians.
I disagree, the reason why MI find themselves at the bottom of the table is because they failed as team completely not just due to individual especially captain. I would say their openers didn't gave consistent performance in any matches is a point to note. KKR is power packed team who got big hitters so they managed to get very good total despite losing their inform openers. MI has nothing to lose from here and KKR almost sealed a position in 1 or 2 so this is just a matter of pride. |

Above all Binance was never under the jurisdiction of the government of India as it never had any office in India. After this they will need an office in India and have to provide any details the government requires from them.

And government authority might have all the rights to ask about the user data as long as they are the residents of India, cause India imposed the 30% tax on VDA in 2022 so they have every reason to go after who didn't pay their taxes prior they became FIU compliant. You are right about the part where you said the government of India imposed tax in 2022. That being said Binance was never asked for any data by the government in 2023, only in 2024 they were accepted the government regulations. Basically, Binance only keeps a record of a user transaction for only a year. If you don't agree then you can check with their support. Last year, while trying to file my taxes I requested Binance to send me the data for the financial year, unfortunately, I am still waiting. They never kept those transaction data and that is why they didn't send me as they knew that it is irrelevant at that time. They have mentioned on their support page that they keep transaction information for six months. For the rest you have to change the date and try, which I did last year but never got any Excel sheet from them.
