41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NeuCoin - Easy to use, free to try, focused on micropayments - Official on: June 10, 2015, 03:48:20 PM
The posts were deleted.
The current plan is for the tx fee coins to be destroyed. Though I'm not sure that is concrete.
And You think a hundredth of a cent is to high? 100 tx will cost 1 cent.

I did not insult anyone I'm simply naturally blunt and at times people find that insulting.

A month or so ago I asked a facebook page that was based around some old guys theorys how much longer he's expecting to live.
Which on that note, if you're looking for something that's very logical may I suggest reading into the Venus Project.

Unlike many other coins, this coins target is not to sit on an exchange and be used mostly by day traders all day. So the tx fee change from a thousandth of a cent to a hundredth of a cent isn't a big deal. We've always been a rather friendly bunch. But insulting slander is not tolerated. And well I'm rather blunt. I need to work on being a bit softer on how I come off on people sometimes. Didi though they may have claimed to have been wrongly banned, that is not the case. Banned members went overboard in their dissent of the coin. Though it may have been a bit suddenly for a few of them as we hadn't set up extensive banning rules yet, that's currently being worked on.

Kim is not going to be banned unless she disrupts the forum. She had a few public posts, if she comes back ranting she will be banned. If she calms down and changes her mind she is welcome to come back to the neucoin forum.

What a winner this coin made me. Great tech, and great value results. Any plans to intergrade this into Facebook anytime soon?

There are currently no plans for facebook integration, though down the line who knows what could happen. Right now the target is music/video tipping platforms and ad removal. There is quite likely to be free coin giveaways on twitter and facebook to viral-ize the coin a bit. Facebook integration is something I wouldn't count on but it is possible. Definitely would be at least a year before something like that could happen.

This coins primary focus at first will be on mass adoption via social media tools, tipping platforms, and ad removal. They have made alterations to PoS to make it better, I've heard that peercoin is working on adding the same adjustment.

I will make it clearer on the forum tomorrow. For now the unofficial faq is pretty clear now.
Most of Gurkins posts were left untouched. His posts that were deemed inappropriate/ harmful to the forum atmosphere were deleted. Where as the previous person to get banned (Gekko) had all of his posts deleted. So he was pointing out that difference. Inappropriate posts are going to be deleted, I wouldn't consider Mark statement to be a lie. When a customer comes in making tons of short tempered demands most people would have no problem with said customers being thrown out because said customers aren't respectful. In fact they tend to prefer it, that way things aren't being slowed down unnecessarily and the community that likes the service can continue it's natural flow.

I think the "grown ups"  are a bit too busy to deal with trolls, but I'll ask them.

Could you post the link that has Mark lying.

The emails telling people about the blog and the emails telling people about the soon to start presale worked properly. But that may have been before you heard about Neu.

You seemed to be complaining about the number/percentage of users so I was giving a logical explanation as to why it's low.

That page is just where you can see the mods. We're considering adding more than just the currently new additions so haven't announced it on the thread yet.

All of those threads link to the wiki. There are the ten neucoin team which in the thread "who are the admins" The usernames on the forum are given. In the unofficial faq I point out the active forum admins and mods. Is English your second language? In which case I apologize. I suppose I didn't take that possibility into account. I will see about making it a bit clearer on the forum.

I am a community Moderator. I do Neucoin on the side. I've recently picked up some more work hours at my day job so I haven't had quite as much time so haven't gotten to the bitcointalk thread. There were some minor issues with the email sent out for the coins people would receive last week which would have caused an increased influx of people inquiring about their coins.

I'm not sure how the discourse measures the day and when a day starts for it. Also the Neu team is quite busy working for right now I don't see the need for tons of conversation until we're closer to launch and more information is available. We're still 1-4 months out. Sandrine was busy with other things with the Neucoin team for a short time so for that week period she wasn't as active with the forum.

The number of users is going to flux every day as when there's more information on the site more people's emails will be pinged and more people will come back to the forum. I imagine some people may come to the forum looking for annoucements and if they see none don't bother to read anything which would make them having straight zeroes across the board reasonable.

You expect heavy activity between Wednesday and Thursday? Post launch I'm sure there will be significantly more traffic as it will be warranted but right now people aren't going to be rushing to the forum everyday.

I would guess eviltrout just pops in awaiting more pressing information. I do not know every detail about discourses user settings. Perhaps you have to open a thread to be consider seen but only visit the page to show up as a user for said day.

I would hardly call it a PR disaster. So a few people posted on crypto forums that they think the coin is no good?

I don't see how you are confused question #25 references the wiki and so does Sandrine. Those are the admins. James and I are community moderators and a few more are being added and it will be announced soon.

I check the neu forum everyday. I do not check bitcointalk everyday as it has so much FUD and most people who are interested in the coin go to the forum, so I focus my time on them instead. The mods are mods because they are active community members and have been given the position, I don't see why you should find it surprising the most active people are the mods.

I was referring to before "events". Changing our posts after the fact could be misconstrued as trying to hide something. The members were seen as potentially harmful to the forums atmosphere. There was no need to announce it. Someone asked about it so it was explained. There is quite a bit of information on the forum and some things are a matter of perspective. What did Mark state as fact that wasn't?

Unless a person wants to have a very active role in the coin community there is not much need to be at the forum right now, the coin hasn't launched yet. Sandrine and Kourosh posted today. Kourosh posts in response to tech questions relative to his projects. With the exception of Mark and Sandrine the team doesn't much post unless pinged until closer to launch and post launch, they are busy getting things all set up. 5% 1-4 months prelaunch doesn't sound bad to me. Hopefully by launch it will be closer to 18%. Many just visit for the surveys. Most coin users aren't going to be on the forum much at all if at all that is normal. Many pre-sale buyers didn't even bother to join the forum.

I don't see what you don't understand about the faq #25

There is plenty of interest left in the coin, such people are patient and understand startup dynamics and feel no need to bother with naysayers. If you were trying to increase transparency then you wouldn't be trying to spin unimportant facts into FUD. When a member asks illogical and/or irrelevant questions then they shouldn't expect to be taken very seriously or to have people waste time on them.

It's a matter of timely release of information. He had the privatization of categories a bit off. But that's since been fixed.

A number rather offensive posts were removed. It's quite a hassle to try to push something forward while members of the community try to push it backwards. There is a fair amount of open discussion. But blatant empty accusations are not accepted. We have no interest in letting FUD be spread in any manner on our forum.

I'm not sure who Myhash had the conversation about decapitated heads, but I'm sure it was a light hearted jest at how bothersome people intentionally FUD up a forum are.

Mark wasn't on the forum as much when Gurkin first came on and put a damper on the feel of the forum. So I'm not sure that he'd read extensively everything Gurkin had written.

You don't get any spam after filling out survey's, the email confirming that you received coins has been sent out. A few people did have trouble with it. If you do have trouble with it please PM Mark on the forum.

There are many more than 68 registered users. This week there have been 242 active users and 501 in the last month. And 208 topics total. Gurkin did post some good content but he also posted a fair amount of bad content and it was decided he's more of a risk than desired. Captain of a ship sees someone talk about mutiny it's understandable that said person is thrown off. Gurkin did do a fair amount of reading, whether or not his removal was the right move I am uncertain. But I'm not the captain, I've got a lot less riding on this than he does.

Grinding attacks were discussed on the neucoin forum, but I will notify kourosh of that link, though most of the tech are currently quite busy with developments.

For any that have a few questions try the current unofficial FAQ. If you feel it's missing any important frequent questions feel free to let me know and I will add them. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ENFBFn1zDybbRu3u5VycR5Nqt5D7C0y1wYoz30jm0_Q/edit

I'd like to suggest adding an option to select certain coins as favorites so they stay at the top of the page for comparisons. It would make comparing all the coins we're invested in much easier. Just a thought, sorry if its redudant to other posts.

TAK or Takei coin is now on trading on mintpals at between $0.003-0.005/Tak and its been slowly rising the last couple days. You should add some to your wallet, and while you're at it to this site too.

It's not in the big exchanges yet, but you should add the new coin Takeicoin once it hits the big exchanges. I think it will be huge
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: *** TAKEICOIN will have a large PRESS RELEASE next week [TAK]*** on: February 19, 2014, 09:43:36 PM
Looking forward to seeing TAK going up. What does 30th, 40th mean exactly? What are the benefits of an online wallet as opposed to the way you wallet is currently?
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TAK] TAKEICOIN *SHA256* Decentralized Currency. Centralized Purpose. on: February 19, 2014, 12:25:44 PM
Well I need a couple days to get coin in my bitcoin wallet to buy some TAK anyway. So a couple more days sounds good in my opinion. Once things start rolling they tend not to stop. So everyone liked TAKEIcoin on facebook right? theyre at 450 and once they hit 500 theyre going to have a giveaway Smiley

Right now its up in the air whether it will succeed, I'm just starting using CC, and don't want to risk to much. I've heard Scifi exchange might be cheaper so I will wait until tomorrow morning if its cheaper I'll go with them instead.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WTB: TAK/Takeicoin on: February 18, 2014, 01:58:36 PM
I'm new to cryptocurrency, so I was wondering if I can buy TAK without having any Bit? Or do I have to wait for it to be considered valuable enough to hit a crypto exchange? When is that expected to happen, or has it already? Why isn't TAK on the coinmarketcap page? being as it seems to be valued at about a cent already?

Theres a page that gives 100 TAK to the first 100 posters. https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/5579-takeicoin-giveaway/page-3 and it didnt take long to receive the coin.

Also some people give TAK away for free? Maybe you could send some my way too my address is

Thank you for your time Smiley
