41  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: XBTec bitcoin miner Pacific 1570 Gh/ on: August 02, 2014, 05:59:02 PM
Has a prototype been tested at 0.8w/gh?

I think would be better, if we will upload video with proofs.
Don't wanna just declaim.
42  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: XBTec bitcoin miner Pacific 1570 Gh/ on: August 02, 2014, 05:55:45 PM
You have to stress test this case for shipping. Even steel made case (Bitmain, S2) is sometimes bent during shipping, despite foam protection.
It wouldn't matter for your customers in what shape it was sent, only in what shape it arrived. Cards/boards can fall out too, unless reinforced.

Of course, we thought about it. We just see packaging of fragile electronics, like TV. Just input softeners between the case and cartoon box

You need to get  preorders money to build  XBTec data center in Shenzhen ?

http://www.xbtec.io/news/data-center-in-shenzhen

The same money can buy in September Sp30
$3,895.00   4,5TH/s  3000W
http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/products/sp30-yukon-september-batch-2

We plans to output devices before 31th August.
We didn't something super newest, we just optimized design of Pacific 1250

Moreover, we already have experience and partnership relationships with few huge Chinese SMD and PCB factories and we sure about ablility to make mass production in time.

Congrats on getting the W/Gh below 1.0.

I'm curious, how many BE200 chips are in the Pacific 1570 (is it 16 per PCB board)?

exactly
46  Bitcoin / Hardware / XBTec bitcoin miner Pacific V2 on: August 02, 2014, 07:19:08 AM
XBTec opens pre-orders for bitcoin miner Pacific V2

Pacific V2 is improved model of Pacific 1250.
During designing we found solutions how to cut power consumption and enhance chipset hash rate at the same time.
Aluminum case is more lightweight than steel one, it helps to cut expenses for shipping. Also heat sink dimensions has been optimized for better air flows and cooling efficiency.

Chipset: AM BE200
Hash rate: 1,57 Th/s
Power consumption from the wall: 1250 Watt
Power consumption per Gh: 0.8 Watt from the wall

Details
Power supply 1450Watt included.
4 PCB boards
Ethernet connection
Working stand alone

Price is $1099 with worldwide shipping.

Do you have any video of the miner in action?

49  Bitcoin / Hardware / XBTec Pacific 1250. Discussion & technical support on: August 01, 2014, 09:24:50 AM
Specification

Chipset: AM BE200
1. Hash rate ~1,25 Th/s
2. Power consumption below ~1250Watt from the wall
3. Cooling:  3 cooling fans.
4. Dimensions: 565 x 570 x 250 mm (standard 4U steel rack case)
5. Working temperature: from -30°C to +40°C
6. Network connection: Ethernet
7. Controller: Raspberry PI
8. Software: BFGminer

Details

Cooling system. We decided to make cooling with two modes: 2500 rpm and 5000rpm.
Main idea: if you want to deploy mining farm in cold area, for instance Siberia or North Sweden you can use low-speed mode 2500 rpm.
But, if you deploying miners in hot areas with 35+ C degrees with no air conditioners low-speed mode may not enough for efficient cooling.

Stand alone. PC is not required.
Setting up via SSH or via web interface.

Stable: miner works stable 24/7.

PSU: Pacific 1250 ships with industrial 1600W PSU.
Despite power consumption in normal less than 1300W, in overlocking mode it could be higher than 1300W.
We know how is important for mining stable working PSU, therefore all compounds inside with excellent quality.
Anyway, PSU can be replaced to home using ATX PSU.

How about my PM?

Check your inbox.
51  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: XBTec Announce. New ASIC manufacturer on: July 30, 2014, 02:43:43 AM
Updating the web page would be beneficial. As of now, basically no info re warranty, interface, etc., etc.
If I buy, what exactly I am buying and on what conditions?

Warranty for PCB boards is 1 month. Warranty for PSU 1 year.
If PCB board(s) doesn't work or work unstable customer should to sent to us wrong item.
Customer pays shipping cost of wrong board(s) to repair center.
XBTec pays shipping cost of new PCB board(s) to customer.

We are testing all devices before sending.
52  Economy / Services / Re: XBTec - campaign terminated on: July 29, 2014, 07:50:42 PM
Well thank god for that. I think its safe to say you will find it hard to recover your reputation after this episode. All for the sake of .1 BTC.

Well at least its over and I never have to do business with you again.

Thanks for paying I guess.

OP is honest, but lazy guy, he don't understand the value of commitment.

Delay in 1-2 days is ok, but after commitment not paying on time is not good.

For sure.  I presonally plan on leaving the negative feedback.  My feedback doesn't really matter since I"m not on any default trust circle but I can say that OP was definitely not going to pay until alexrossi negged him.  That seems to me to be very dishonest.  I wouldn't recommend working with him unless you're in default trust so that he actually values your opinion.

SED, I'm personally sorry for payment delay. During last weeks were busy, because finished our miner design. We really hadn't time to properly manage campaign. You shouldn't care about my excuses, but anyway..
53  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: XBTec Announce. New ASIC manufacturer on: July 29, 2014, 07:25:47 PM

1. BTC, Paypal+6%, Banking transfer to our company account
2. FedEx, UPS, DHL
3. You can personally pick up from Shenzhen. You just need cross China border
4. We still thinking about it
5. From today we are ready to send
4. Low price on invoice for low tax
- Is there information about manufacture, origin of goods, specs... on miner? if it do not have these infos, customs in my country will reject it

Of course we understand purposes of that. Information about manufacturer, specs, and place of origin accompanied with device.
54  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: XBTec Announce. New ASIC manufacturer on: July 29, 2014, 06:56:12 PM
Shipping cost doesn't included. Tomorrow we will calculate shipping cost to main regions.
For instance, shipping cost of one device to UK by DHL is 153$
55  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: XBTec Announce. New ASIC manufacturer on: July 29, 2014, 04:57:57 PM
Thanks. Final question

1.I assume these are stand-a-lone . No PC required
2.Does it come with a web interface ? How are the network and pool settings configured ?

1. Yes, stand alone, no PC required.
2. Setting up through web interface.

less than 1 hour ago, i receive e-mail from xbtec where they write, that on 11 august they will have asic 2.7 th... and they won't pay any btc anymore, 0.7th will be bonus...

 XBTec,

1. Is the above true with regards to the 2.7 th/s asic ? If so what is the estimated power consumption
2.When will the miner that hashes at 1.25 Th/s be shipped out if ordered today ?
3.Your Twitter says 1200 watt PSU included but your post says $1600 watt PSU. Which is it ?

1. No single asic 2.7Th/s. It means 2.7Th equal  2 devices.
2. If order tonight, we able to send tomorrow morning.
3. PSU maximum is 1600 Watt, but power consumption about 1200 Watt.
