THIS COIN IS DEAD

Looks like this guy pretends to represent the salvation army and steals donations. Why would you steal from the most disadvantaged people of society?Huh That's horrible, and here you are accusing people of stealing?!  Embarrassed I know you'll probably deny this; Don't make me look for the pastebin!!!  Roll Eyes

BTW - We only give out the "beating a dead horse" award here. Bobsurplus won already. move along.

The only thing posting wallet addresses would achieve is giving FUDsters more ammo and moving investors' attention to something other than the innovative features of the coin.

Posting wallet addresses would also just look like a front, no matter how legit; would be a waste imo, they did the right thing not doing this.

Bobsurplus, could you pleeeaase just stop, and go away?? I'd really appreciate it.  Smiley
Also, if you really are investing in cloakcoin; when people search it on bitcoinforums, they're going to find a lot more anti-cloak sentiment than they would have otherwise thanks to you.

The beating a dead horse award goes to Bobsurplus! I just went through all your posts, and am left wondering what is wrong with you.

How many times do you have to be wrong before you silence yourself?? Do you have some kind of mental disorder that makes you feel the need to constantly slander someone, or do you get paid to do this?

"Yes this coin is dead.. it's barely holding 60K sat and I expect it to be at around 20K sat tomorrow" - you're clearly an expert, huh?

"Yeah I totally agree.. Cloak is light years ahead of crypt." - WHY DON'T YOU POST THERE THEN!?!?!?

"EDIT: Also, why cll me out out of everyone talking shit on this thread. Is it because you feel threatened?"

Of course it's threatening, it doesn't need to be true to be threatening. What you're doing is assaulting the name of this coin, of course that's not going to be ignored.

Because it's really just you, isn't it? You and new accounts that conveniently show up here just in time for you to be there to instantly agree with them, like jpsab, or mrhorse. If these people are you, then you forgot to consider timing in your posts might reveal this. If they aren't, then go daytrade with cloak, which you seem to believe in so much, and you'll make more than you will wasting the precious moments of your short life, trying to devalue something you're supposedly not buying.

You have around 200 posts, and somehow it looks like most of them are on the CRYPT forum here.

Coins with promise always get this kind of FUD, ever notice that???

since I spend over an hour reading, I would like first to say that I'm a plain man, not super smart, I do not transform during full moon, I just do what I was hired to do: implement my idea.
Now, regarding some of the technical concerns expressed are valid, but I would love to see the real person behind them.
Since I did not hide using a different nick, why would you?

Regarding anonymity, I would like someone to define the term to me.
Is it to make the addresses in a transaction invisible or prove that all addresses come from the same wallet/coin holder?
As I said many times, personally I do not trust my coins being in another wallet/master node/call it how you like, to forward my coins. Besides, even if you use a mixer, aren't the coins going to the same address?
Isn't the "taint analysis" going to reveal the coins that an address had, even for a single instance?
You mix the source and you reveal the destination. Or perhaps I didn't read it well.

Also, regarding the ability to learn the IP from a wallet that is not connectable can't be completely accurate. Just remember that transaction messages are re-broadcasted by wallets. Connectable or not.

So, as I mentioned in one of my posts, there are many different ideas and implementation and I respect everyone for the hard work and effort they put in order to make it (or made it) happen.
Also, all ideas in early stage have plenty of room for expansion.
I strongly believe that if those who go through the effort to go through technical analysis (which means that they are skilled either in coding or in googling - I would like to believe the first) can offer more than just "stay away from this coin - the dev is a scammer".

Thanks for the update!!

Oh FUDsters, don't you know that your unimaginative, spammy, horribly composed posts are only making me buy more??? I'll never complain about comments being deleted on these forums again, fo' sho'!

My entry, first draft.

Despite the fact that you insulted your competition ( not that I'm offended lol, you explained yourself at least Tongue ) I'm going to throw some constructive criticism in here, looks like it might be a first for this thread- despite my concerns, I may possibly vote for it anyway were a vote to be called now.

It's a good simple concept, which is what I think/hope the dev is looking for, as and gloss or fancy effects can be added after the fact fairly easily to appease the dev's taste; my preference is tied between standard and modern. However, the use of three letters on the coin, while it lends very nicely to the symmetry of the logo, may be detrimental when it is shrunk down, and the "A" in the logo looks more to me like a "D". It also completely ignores utilization of the "V" currency symbol, which I'm assuming the dev would be able to use as a logo and currency symbol to promote familiarity outside of sites like coinmarketcap.com and exchanges (selling goods for viacoin, etc.)

52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] (WC) | WhiteCoin | ☯ www.whitecoinfoundation.org ☯whitecoin.info ☯ on: May 17, 2014, 08:18:28 PM
I lost about 1.2 btc which my %70 crypto-wealth with this coin. It seems time to leave. Hard to see again over 800. Thats my 2. Flap xp.

You're just selling to a whale eating it all up, chomp chomp.  Only a loss once you've sold.

Thats true. Really hard to earn, easy to loose.

You know, I thought that when I first got into crypto, now I see that is a ridiculous, desperate gambler-mentality way of going about it, I bought this coin when it was still "broken" and it was worth over 4x what it is now, now that the coin is working and having an active community.

"you don't lose until you sell" sounds sketchy as hell, as you're switching to a more stable currency AND you are actively choosing to step out to increasing your coin count as it's value declines/fluctuates, something I regret not doing.

That being said; I still am holding my WC, hoping for the best, but mostly because of my trust of a few (though I don't know most of them ) team members who are involved, and seem like half decent people who want to create a coin and get rich later instead of destroy crypto trust for instant profits like so many coins do. I accept also that there is probably heavy manipulation going on behind closed doors, like with all coins, so I was ready for this, though not to this extent. Unfortunately I've lost so much BTC that I wouldn't lose enough to feel like I made more of a mistake than I already have if it dropped to 1 satoshi now.

The FUD spread with WC is usually of very low quality, and has never worried me. What does worry me about this coin however, is how all the team members (also very very noticeable on this thread) are constantly congratulating each other on how great a job they're doing and how hard they are working, which is understandable, I'm sure all this isn't "easy", but ignoring the trolls or simply refuting them with as few words/mudslinging would probably be a better idea. If I were new to this coin, I'd see all the anti-fud and probably avoid it for that reason, since it would look to me like people worry about FUD actually being able to impact this, which is usually not the case when it gets ignored.

This is how the WC community responds to FUD;

- Numbers of coins around 100.000.000 to 200.000.000
- No Premine (for whatever reason)
- Instamine protection
- ASIC mining protection

For as much i feel sorry for the ones scammed on their money i can not agree with premine as a compensation...we would have to come with something diferent to compensate or at least mitigate  the losses of those people but Premining is not the answer..

What do you suggest as an alternative?

I am for a premine, I think they can work out.  We can have the premine pay out over a longer period to prevent dumping.
It would sure cost less than collecting the bitcoins, I doubt we could raise that many.

And even if the coin does not do super well (which is might) the investors would at least get a chance to get something out of it.

people could donate by buying the coin on the market and supporting the coin basically!

But it could become a decent coin because of the meaning.

I think the bitcoin community has almost finished moving on from their opposition to premine coins, as long as they can accept the reasoning; I fully agree with the proposal that the premine should be payed out over a longer period, investors don't want to buy premine coins when at launch, because the value is almost always initially inflated, shortening the coin's life/lengthening the growth period. It will also provide encouragement to the team we're building here to work on promoting the coin in one way or another long after the launch. (which I think is one of the best things we could do for it)
I think making this coin pow/pos as well as having the premine paid in multiple chunks would bode well for it's long term survivability.
I would also like to offer myself up for promotion services, as I spend most of my time on the internet following crypto (I've seen enough coin promotion to have an idea of what works, and where to apply it)

I almost forgot, the credits in star wars are Galactic Standard Credits (GSC) (wiki says galactic credit standard, but that doesn't have the same ring to it) Graphen ends with an "E", doesn't it?
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: community coin on: February 22, 2014, 10:26:08 PM
rather than another coin, why not throw your support behind PND?  A coin made to symbolize fairness, and to warn people of market manipulation, scamming, and pump and dump.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=464476.0

There are 3 or 4 different Panda Coins....No thanks.

Not to mention the fact that this does nothing to help those who lost out in the initial scam, which is the whole reason for this new coin

PND is mined mostly by angry users on 4chan who are involved in hacking wolong's twitter and created solely to destroy PANDA. However, they now claim to have hacked wolong's 1.5 bil PANDA wallet and crashed PANDA. (this was all posted through wolong's twitter, and I saw boards on /b/ dedicated to destroying PANDA days before, though I didn't follow it.) That's something I think we'd be better off letting die. I also worry using the name pheonixcoin would create the same sort of confusion, as a pheonixcoin has been on coinmarketcap.com before and some people will remember this, causing confusion.

Hey everyone, I would just like to offer my services to this project; I realize that I just created this account (first time on this site, been lurking trollbox and reddit up until now, but hopefully bumface will recognize me as a trollbox regular and know I haven't appeared out of nowhere)
and that this may cause some trust issues (depending on my role in this), but I will do whatever needed to prove my commitment/reliability.

I have always really wanted to be a part of coin development, but lack the programming skills needed to start one myself, so I feel that I would be most useful in marketing.

I think the names proposed are feasible, and do fit the situation, but may not have the appeal to more common users that something like doge has- may I suggest Matrixcoin (makes a good digital reference that will inevitably be used by someone) - Galactic credits would likely be popular (named after the star wars currency, we would be able to garnish ourselves with a lot of media attention as well as get a widespread fanbase educated about crypto) - maybe baktuns? (you could use some version of the mayan calendar mandala thingy for a logo) I agree that the word coin is overused and may reduce new coin appeal someday.

If there is any area of development my services would be useful, just let me know!  Grin
