41  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Awesome tools list on: July 02, 2020, 07:50:49 PM
Any newbie here who is into software development might be interested in this list. I am not a developer, hence not interested in this list but, it is a good to know information for people like me to get an idea on how it is done. Thanks for sharing OP

Correct, I am also not a software developer but a content creator/editor, these tool does not have any importance role in my journey with cryptocurrency they are meant for those who are into software. I hire developers, maybe they might benefit using these tools but most of them know about it.

I still do not understand how and in what way these tools will help everyone in this forum except software developers.
42  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to know whether the url your visiting is correct? on: July 01, 2020, 03:19:50 PM
To me, the best way to see if you're on the right site is just by typing out the link or the Web domain and navigating through or pasting the extension after it...
This is the best way actually. If you knew the exact keywords either paste it on browser so it will directed to that particular site.

Just avoid some sites which have some ads-related cause it can direct some of these to another page where phishing are probably waiting. But I commend you for your suggestion OP, some of other users are often got wrong links on the site their supposed to visit this could help for the likes of them.

Sometimes your clip board might play games with you. You can never be certain if you have a malware already on you device. It is easy to get malware nowdays as scammers/spammers are continuously improving themselve.

These simple and yet resourceful plugin can help you when you need them most. Thanks for sharing.
43  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which social media do you prefer? on: June 28, 2020, 07:14:07 PM
I prefer Twitter and Facebook more than any other social media. Although Reddit is the best place to get news related to cryptocurrency but I do not like the Karma system. It has now become a tool to downgrade others.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON 4.0, will the improvements be reflected in the value of TRX? on: June 28, 2020, 07:11:25 PM
Tron is a good project but has one of the biggest supply so whatever improvement Tron makes it won't affect its USD value significantly. That great to hear that at last they are launching their smart contract but it will not make any difference as they are pretty late in doing it.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Venezuelan can now renew their Passport with Bitcoin as payment. on: June 28, 2020, 06:54:59 PM
Venezuelan economic condition is in a pretty bad state. Their own fiat currency does not have any value and that is why they are trying alternate options. I doubt they will be accepting Bitcoin when they are promoting their own cryptocurrency.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without banks, is it possible to move physical currencies to Crypto? on: June 28, 2020, 06:50:17 PM
Yes, it is possible..

There are two possible ways.

1. Over the counter transactions
2. P2P payment.

localcrypto and localbitcoin website provides both these services. When Indian Banks banned crypto transactions, local crypto exchanges provided P2P services to all their users.
47  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Fake Wasabi Wallet website on: June 28, 2020, 06:36:52 PM
Good to know information. Thanks for sharing.

There are a lot of fake website out on the internet and it is better to report such websites to google so that others also do not get scammed. I have reported the URL to google and you too can.

Go to this link - https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/spamreport

click on the button that says Report web spam and follow the instruction. This will not only stop google from indexing the website but will also raise an alarm if someone directly goes to the website using Google Chrome.
48  Other / Off-topic / Re: BitcoinPoster.com on: June 28, 2020, 12:12:29 PM

What happened to the website and why suddenly have you activated this thread which is more than 5 years old? I visited the link but it gets directed to name cheap hosting page with a verification error message.

Are you planning to start it once again?
49  Other / Off-topic / Re: Facebook friend number 5001 on: June 28, 2020, 12:09:36 PM
Weired! Facebook is broken I think, you should report this bug to them they might reward you for the bug report.

How on earth are you able to have 5000 friends, are they all friends or they are followers? I do not have more than 200 friends and some of them I have never spoken too.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Whats A Good Telegram To Join? on: June 28, 2020, 06:19:53 AM
What is the guarantee that you will get ETH back if you invested some money into this system? Have you received any payments back?

I doubt it and I think it is a SCAM website. If you have invested $1000 than I am sorry for you.

About Telegram:

Stay away from it as you will only find scammers and spammers there.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian government Banning Cryptocurrencies? on: June 28, 2020, 05:56:27 AM
Indian media has always been creating panic among the Indian crypto community by printing such news for the last two years now. They have been successful in doing that again as there have been multiple threads created in this forum about the same issue.

India is a democracy and passing a law takes time. There is no conclusive evidence that this law will get passed from both the house of the parliament. If it does get passed then this law can be contested by the Indian crypto community in the Supreme court.

Therefore it is too early to come into any conclusion.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you stacking your SATs now! on: June 28, 2020, 05:49:40 AM
If we all keep on Stacking Bitcoin then the price of Bitcoin will remain the same as there will not be anything left to trade. Therefore do spend at a local or online store to increase adoption and do trade it at the exchange. Stacking satoshi is not the solution, adoption is the way to increase the USD value of Bitcoin.

55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why will BTC halving stimulate price growth? on: January 13, 2020, 02:35:28 AM
Bitcoin Halving is bad for miners as the block reward drops in half but, good for HODLers.

The first halving happened in 2012 at that time the price of 1 BTC was $12.22. The second halving happened in 2016 and price of 1 BTC was $657.61.
The third halving is due to happen in 2020 and looking at the past trend you can expect the price of 1 BTC to go beyond the all time high.

A small update sep last year I wrote the above lines and was pretty much convinced that BTC should create a new ATH. Looking into the present scenario and the market conditions, I am pretty much convinced that there will be short Bull run early April .

BTC will go beyond the price of 10k but it will face a tough backward thrust at 11k. I do not think there will be a new ATH this year.

Things might change in the coming months before halving.
56  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Get Google AdSense approved on your Crypto Blog on: December 13, 2019, 12:56:33 PM
Google was never really banned crypto-related websites from Adsense. They ban Adsense from faucets because it's websites without any real content, usually, most of the traffic from there is a fake and they don't allow any paid traffic or click to his ads which faucets basically are. So if you pay for visitors, you can't have Adsense ads on your page.
I have faucet list a few years ago, and I have AdSense for a few months before they ban me. There is some content on site, and most of the traffic was from real users who claim from faucets. If they had practiced such a practice for years, at some point they decided to change the decision, regardless of the traffic and content that was on the page.

I do not know how, but some faucets still have AdSense today, maybe there are some tricks they know. One faucet owner is said to me that he will not have problems, as long as he uses only their ads.

Still, I'm interested in one thing, if one site is banned from using AdSense in the past, is there a possibility of re-approval?

If your website was banned you cannot re-apply for the same.

What you can do is change the domain name and the create a new email ID related to the domain name. Remove the faucet for the website for now. Stuff it with some 15 to 20 unique articles with minimum word count of 600 words and then re-apply after three months.

Later on after it gets approved you can add the faucet once again with a small adjustment on your website.

If you are interested I can help you with that.

Tell us more about yourself.
How long you are in Adsense business? Is it cointikka your first Co-Founded project using Adsense?
Your service, accept all of the types of Adsense accounts?
Your service, accept all of the types of websites? Is there any restriction about which hosting can't use?

I am a content writer and Blogger. This is my first cryptocurrency blog which I co-founded with my friend and I got adsense approved on my website a month ago. I have been in Adsense business for about three years now. Yes, I can only help other websites that follow the Google adsense policy. Hosting does not matter, it is only the content that matters.
in how many attempts you got approved? was that your first attempt to apply for adsense or you got rejected before? I was tried once and got rejected. but now I don't know if I should apply again or not.

Has Google changed any rules regarding the approval of their ads at crypto-related sites? As far as I know, it's not a problem to get approved, but how to not get a ban if your site is have anything with a cryptocurrency.

How long have you been running AdSense ads on your page? I have seen some faucets with their ads in the past months, and some of them run for a few months, but in the end, advertisements have been removed. I know blog and faucet are not the same, but the question remains whether AdSense can be used in the long run on any crypto-related site?

Google was never really banned crypto-related websites from Adsense. They ban Adsense from faucets because it's websites without any real content, usually, most of the traffic from there is a fake and they don't allow any paid traffic or click to his ads which faucets basically are. So if you pay for visitors, you can't have Adsense ads on your page.
For example, I have 10yrs old fully approved account and I can publish a web page with one single word, Adsense ads will be approved immediately. but I might have a problem if artificially brought traffic trying to monetize fake visitors.
They have two types of accounts. Hosted and no-hosted, I expected from someone with 3yr experience like OP to know that and which acc type can be approved.
probably non-hosted . because hosted adsense is only for google's own products or exclusive partners like Youtube, Blogspot and Hubpages.

It took me two attempts to get the approval.
No, Google is not giving adsense approval so easily for the crypto blogs.
Yes, I will be dealing with non-hosted.

Ideally you might want to specify the types of payment (e.g. Paypal, Bitcoin, WU) you receive, and perhaps some proofs of the verification so that'd be more convincing.

Payment in Bitcoin.

You must understand the freedom on the internet. People are free to be good or be evil. And frustrated people can use the internet as they punching bags to drop all their frustration. So, since there are no laws against haters then we will see hate everywhere, forums, social networks, even in our mail. This is the world you are living in, don't try to change it, just adapt to it.

When was the last time you heard something Good about Bitcoin on this platform. It is always this problem or the other. Nobody questions Fiat or the other so called copy cat of Bitcoin.
