41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream news media's new portrayal on bitcoin hehehe on: December 16, 2020, 08:24:29 AM
It is normal but not helpful for crypto community. They are being a restriction in reaching bitcoin to masses. In face, media in our country also has portrayed a image. That's not just it. Highly popular motivational speakers also post video covering bitcoin negativity, they clearly don't know the tech. But sooner or later, public will understand the value.

The question is when?

Well, Bitcoin will start introducing itself among newbies when the pricing will reach a way beyond their capacity of owning one. That's for sure!
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Which Is The Best P2P Exchange Now-A-Days And Why? on: December 15, 2020, 03:33:08 PM
WazirX is the best I have used so far. Yes, that is annoying when seller put us on hold and then cancel the trade. But I think it is not only available on WazirX. However, I never had to wait for more than max 1 hour and did many trades.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which Crypto Exchange with liquidity that could dominate the crypto industry? on: December 15, 2020, 03:24:33 PM
Instead, which is the exchange in your country posses ability to dominate your entire region would have made this thread more interesting. Because, we will have many new names, their UI, services and of course various pairs.

To answer your question, I think Binance can dominate the entire crypto industry!
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoin regulations might force ETH nodes to comply with the government on: December 15, 2020, 02:24:05 PM
This really is a trouble.

Now porn is banned/illegal in many countries however their native people do host porn sites. Correct me if I am wrong. When something is hosted online and that is banned, government can do anything. The question is how do they run such porn sites while staying away from government tracing? There exist off short hosting companies which are established in countries where DMCAs/Claims are not answerable. So, being a node owner or validator, you gotta find such cloud hosting services instead of hardware. This is not a temporary solutions as numerous porn sites and even scams utilize the same way.

This was a solution to a validator. But on a large scale, it terrifies many blockchain operations running on POS mechanism indeed.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we gonna see a new ATH this year? on: December 15, 2020, 02:09:25 PM
Bitcoin has a chance that we can see the ATH it's recover again, the price is now $19,200 but the altcoins seems impossible this month maybe in the next year will happen. I thought ethereum will go high further after the launched of eth 2.0 but no and about XRP the airdrop event is over so I think XRP will go down slowly.
Yes, what has happened so far, Bitcoin does have the opportunity to reach a new ATH at the end of this year, although it hasn't happened at the moment, and for ETH I see it doesn't have any effect after ETH 2.0 was launched, and another for the XRP token. which is currently experiencing a decline, I don't think it's entirely because of the finished Airdrop.

Looking at the current amount of ETH being stacked for beaconchain, the price should really increase. But is hard to find the reason why is it not moving forward. Stacking amount is I think higher than ETH being mined. What do you think?
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO was fair, IEO did well, STO flopped, now IDO - Is it going to survive? on: December 15, 2020, 01:59:31 PM
ICOs, IEOs and STOs are part of CEX, and CEX is no longer the trend now,
the current trend is DEFI, and DEX is a partner in DeFi, yes we know that,
just wait until DEX becomes a trend, and the IDO Hype will emerge as soon as DEX trend is becoming popular.

CEX? It was never that much popular. Ohh, sorry! You meant DEX, right?
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO was fair, IEO did well, STO flopped, now IDO - Is it going to survive? on: December 15, 2020, 01:56:39 PM
None of all these crowdfunding strategies are regulated so there is no way they won't be bombard by scammers and cheaters, IEO is a bit better because of top exchanges performance, they aim to offer high quality services and also keep their reputations in good condition

But exchanges are taking shitons of profits in IDEOs. You never know your chance in IEO launchpads offered by Binance. I had heard of one IEO on Binance where almost none got in. Had researched across forums but all were discussing if anyone got it. There was so much hype that a guys has applied from more than 20 PCs with the help of his team but none account got in. So, IEO made exchanges big with the help of manipulation!
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Defend the bitcoin network to the death on: December 13, 2020, 04:26:34 PM
In highly unlikely anticipated event where internet comes down, I think you can't defend the bitcoin network.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you sell your BTC for $100 000, and never go back to the game again? on: December 13, 2020, 04:24:11 PM
For instance, I can accept $100K as it a significant amount indeed. Besides, I can easily diversify that amount into Ethereum (majority) and physical assets like Gold or real estate. Real estate alone can give crazy returns within a short period of time (years) if picked carefully after conducting research.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ICO was fair, IEO did well, STO flopped, now IDO - Is it going to survive? on: December 13, 2020, 04:01:32 PM
Being in cryptocurrency space for 3 years, I have seen many fund-gathering methods till now. I think it was 2017 where it all started.

Due to prominent smart contracts, the term ICO (Initial Coin Offering) exploded for gathering funds. We actually have a few solid projects because of ICOs where we have even enjoyed some good profits. I myself got 12x profits in an ICO called WABI. (State your highest ROI coin as well) As time passed, it got devastated by scammers and it started losing trust from investors and we witnessed another method known as IEO which is still popular now. It has proved a money making tool for reputed exchanges like Binance but it also provided good returns. I got myself 5x on one Binance IEO which I don't recall now. But this method is I think is great and provides a good investment opportunities.

Now we are witnessing IDO (Initial DEX offering) - It is a kind of fundraising method where there won't be any central custody of your funds with the help of DeFi. One such upcoming good project is MahaDAO. As DEX is not being discussed here, let's make this thread informative. How do you define IDO? Have you participated in any IDO? Do you think that it is better than current fundraising methods? Let's discuss.
51  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paying on Alibaba.com with Bitcoin?? on: December 13, 2020, 08:51:43 AM
Can you provide products you are outsourcing from Alibaba, if it is possible of course? One my friends works in Alibaba as sales manager - may be he can help directly. You won't have to worry about trust as upon asking, he will also be providing you Alibaba's employee card or something you can trust on.

What is your proofreading charge? Content is related to pet accessories and various games. Vary basic content where you don't need to apply your mind being a native French speaker.
53  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Looking for methods to earn at least 1$ hourly on: December 13, 2020, 08:43:39 AM
Where are you from? Try Amazon Turk! Its worth your efforts if you are from tier1 countries. If you ain't, explore this sub https://www.reddit.com/r/beermoney/ - you will certainly find survey kind of tasks, but skip it and you will surely find something. Besides, if you really have passion and dedication about earning money gradually, I would strongly suggest Appen. Good luck!
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any investment opportunity that ETH2.0 brings? on: December 08, 2020, 11:13:52 AM
The more reliable and secure the network, the more trust new investors can have. It may not impact old investors (it will impact as network congestion will be reduced so does gas fees) but new users will have direct access to an advanced and improved network.

I never heard of QETH? What is it? A source link can show some insights as well.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $Jelly fish on: December 08, 2020, 11:09:47 AM
Neither I have seen Jelly Fishes nor I want to be part of $Jelly Fish. OP is a newbie and s/he is trying to promote $Jelly. That's it!
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What have you done/are you doing with your ICO coins? on: December 08, 2020, 11:05:42 AM
Just like you, I also hold hundreds of coins but my 90%+ coin not listed that I am holding even there are some coins that are dirt cheap that I can not cover up the gas fee if I sell it. Greediness leads to this situation honestly speaking If I sold it in 2018 I must have good backup money with me for future investment but things are totally opposite. I don't have any of the coins you hold at the moment and my planning is to hold my coins till they give me a good profit.

I agree with Greediness part. I would have billed bags if sold on time. But a very good lesson learned indeed.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How prepared are you for Spark token on: December 07, 2020, 04:32:17 AM
Oh really, is that how spark coin does too good? The exchanges that has been listed are all good. This coin will going good I guess. Anyway, does this coin do some bounties in the bounties and  altcoins section? I wish to know how much they allocated for bounties if there is any. Well, we will all hope that all coins will do good and that cryptocurrency can stretch its name to the community as a good platform or system to resolve issues and problem with the current fiat system.

Also look at the total supply. It will worth penny, I guess. This is not going to the best airdrop - let's see.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: December 07, 2020, 04:28:31 AM
Ethereum will be my pick. Just look at the number of ETH being locked for 2.0. A lot of ETH are being locked which is decreasing supply while demand is growing. Price will surely increase and if ETH 2.0 successfully launched, it is gonna be a great success.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What have you done/are you doing with your ICO coins? on: December 07, 2020, 04:24:42 AM
Hi fellas!

We have witnessed a tremendous ICO trend in 2017-18. I am sure a lot of you would have participated in many ICOs. If not, you would have received altcoins as a payment mode from bounties. So, what have you done to them? If you haven't sold them, what is your plan with them?

I had participated in more than a dozen of ICOs and I am still holding their coins. They include:

1. Wanchain (WAN)
2. ICON (ICX)
3. Elastos (ELA)
4. Ren Protocol (REN)
5. Project Pai (PAI)
6. Walimai (WABI)
7. Request Network (REQ)
8. Quantstamp protocol (QSP)
9. Ripio Credit Network (RCN)
10. Apex (CPX → PHX)
11. Nash Exchange (NEX)
12. Lympo (LYM)
13. Experty (EXY)
14. Cardstack (CARD)
15. Insights Network (INSTAR)
16. Remme Protocol (REMME)
17. Atonomi (ATMI)
and a few more...

It's not that I lost a huge sum as a very few of them had returned back invested amount. But I am not sure now what to do with these. So, if you are holding any of these of such ICO tokens, what are you planning to do with 'em.
For the moment all my ICO coins are still below what I invested so I'm not in a hurry to dispose of them I bought them as a long term investment for the future so proIably selling is not one of my option now so i hodl and watch out for updates.

But if you look at a bright side, I dropped believing in long term investment in any kind of tokens. BTC and ETH are here for long term investment. ICO tokens which had more than $3K has now become mere $250. Among ICOs I've listed, there are many good ones like WAN, ICX, ELA etc. But just compare its price on a long duration, they are wastage of funds and time, I believe.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What have you done/are you doing with your ICO coins? on: December 06, 2020, 04:58:30 AM

I have let go of many of them, that is, sold them, and those I couldn't sell are still there with little to no value. Seriously, the ICO era taught many people a lesson and that lesson is, not all coins and tokens are worth holding for long, and thus, once you see a good price just sell because you might not see such price again; although it depends on the project.
Now, looking at your list, some of those coins are trading, such as ICX, INSTAR, REMME, I also remember CARD, but don't know if it is still trading or not. I suggest you visit coinmarketcap or Coingecko and search for some of those coins to see the exchanges they are listed on if possible. If some aren't listed, you can visit their telegram group to search for answers or to ask questions.

The OP's list is long. Yes, what he can do is check these coins where they are being traded with, if they are still in the market. And if there is still development going on. Because if there's activity going on, better discard it by selling even if it has low value. Because if the team already abandoned the project, there's no way, it will miraculously rise its value. And for the others that don't have market, just let it sit in your wallet. You can't do anything about them anymore. I had invested in ICO myself, and lost. I haven't sold it while it was still listed and now totally gone in the market. Even the website of the project was long gone. So if the OP can get a lil bit out of it, sell it while you can.

Yeah, I am thinking about the same. But coins with more than 500K daily volume has to have some development activity. So, I am thinking to hold them and planning get rid of 50K-100K volume coins.
