44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't fall for this YFI / YFII Telegram scam! on: September 02, 2020, 08:25:03 AM
Fraud and theft in the digital currency market will not end, but it will decrease with the increase in awareness, regulation and legalization of this young market. For me personally, I do not trust any Airdrop that asks me a fee for sending the cryptocurrency, as this indicates the weakness of the project or fraud.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I like to collect the token on: August 31, 2020, 10:34:15 AM
Do you have a preference for collecting tokens instead of selling them?
Currently in my wallet there are more than 200 tokens with different values and I do not sell them every time it is listed. I keep them and watch them every day. I was fascinated by the fact that there were many tokens in my wallet and not paying attention to their price.
Do you think this is a crazy hobby?

I collect tokens for a certain period, but once they are listed on the platforms that suit me and at a reasonable price, I sell them because most of these currencies lose their value and price over time, unless their project is strong and their development team works hard.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto after COVID-19 on: August 31, 2020, 10:31:05 AM

Whatever happens after COVID-19, there's no denying that crypto is a resilient alternative financial system in times of need. In a first of its kind, crypto has remained "impervious" from negative events in the mainstream world. My guess is that crypto will continue to go higher in price even after the demise of COVID-19, as people's trust in the banking system will diminish. The premier cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) will be officially recognized as a true alternative of Gold, proving itself as a store of value in times of need.

Thoughts? Huh

The cause of the Corona virus, COVID-19, in a major economic recession during 2020, and I expect the cryptocurrency to come out stronger than ever after the end of the Coronavirus pandemic, because it has proven during this crisis that it is a safe haven against economic collapse.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: when will cryptocurrency go mainstream? on: August 30, 2020, 01:01:48 PM

"Signifcantly" is not very high if based on the broader mainstream market. How much/what is the ratio of Bitcoin users compared to the mainstream market?

Plus is Linux OS mainstream? No, many people "of the mainstream" has heard of Linux, but Linux usage is targetted towards a small portion of the whole market.

The use of Linux OS is limited to a certain category of people, and they are the developers who need it, but bitcoin will be needed by everyone when merchants deal with it in their stores around the world. And I think the future of BTC is great, as it will be used as an everyday currency, or even used as a guarantee or an investment.
48  Economy / Economics / Re: world war 3 is coming ...do to coronavirus / economy ... on: August 30, 2020, 12:51:18 PM
Despite the chaos occurring in the international system, we live in an era of globalization and the single market, because the world is economically interconnected, and this leads to cooperation between countries, to avoid the world falling into a third world war, and as it can be said that the world today is dependent on each other so that there is mutual dependence A country cannot live in isolation from the global market, and the damage that will be inflicted on one of the superpowers is global damage that is not limited to one country, as China’s corona is the world's corona.

50  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic outcome on: August 30, 2020, 09:40:32 AM
It is very likely that we will be soon witness another crisis after this pandemic event many people around the world are becoming jobless, in other word no financial to face the reality when this such phenomenon exit, add up the mortgage and bills to pay for, it is sure pain in the back to workaround and see what we can do for the upcoming month during this pandemic.

For me I will just thrown away any things that can be sell off, to support what do I need for, and stay on my list to dos after the event I don't have a family for the moment sure give me a time to not worry about.

How about you give me your thought on this event  I might be adapt your idea and get some of it to surest my stability when the time comes,

I believe that life should proceed closer to normal despite the presence of the epidemic, and we must adapt to the situation, take precautions and beware of infection, but without banning, quarantining or stopping work because economic death is more difficult for people than dying from disease.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done for you? on: August 30, 2020, 09:37:13 AM
Previous Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5222426.msg53752319#msg53752319

I like making these threads because it's interesting to see how Bitcoin has changed people's lives. So how has Bitcoin helped you in your life?

For me personally, I use Bitcoin to accept money from people instantly.

I have really benefited from bitcoin because receiving money from abroad in my country is very difficult and expensive, but through Bitcoin transfer I find it easier, faster and less expensive, so I am currently advising my friends to deal and send money via Bitcoin.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have shared about bitcoin on my class on: August 30, 2020, 09:23:48 AM
I'm having an MBA degree on Marketing. Due to COVID19, we are having classes online. However, we had a term paper submission and presentation on "Deceptive Advertising". I have selected the freebitco advertisement and had presented their Bait and Switch method to attract newbies to have click on their site.
The advertisement is- "Win $200 bitcoin per hour" which I think totally a deceptive advertising. Through this, I was able to give a little hints about bitcoin among my fellow mates and my teacher. I felt lucky when teacher asked me what bitcoin is actually after my presentation, I gave a short answer to them.
This was really great achievement of me, it may not be to you. I feel lucky if I get a chance to talk about bitcoin among my country men.

It is good that you have found people who listen to you explaining to them about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. In my country no one knows anything about this field and when I try to explain to them they meet me rejecting the idea and questioning its validity. Currently, I am trying to prove my point and the validity of my belief in Bitcoin, and I hope that the information about cryptocurrencies in my country will spread better.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Patience above all will be rewarded here on: August 28, 2020, 12:04:15 PM
Investing in Bitcoin is not a matter for those with weak nerves and hasty ones who aspire to a quick profit. To become a millionaire you have to believe in Bitcoin and have enough patience, long breath and a strong heart. People who dared to deal with the cryptocurrency should prepare for failure, and then perhaps luck would smile at them.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Whale Sold 9,000 BTC After 2 Years HODLing on: August 28, 2020, 09:50:02 AM
This type of investor teaches us patience, as he finally made profits after two years and was not affected by the great decline of Bitcoins during the two major events, and this means that his confidence in Bitcoin was great, so he did not give up quickly.
55  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Is Exodus a good wallet? on: August 28, 2020, 09:19:09 AM
Exodus wallet has a great reputation, it requires no verification and provides you with strong transfer speed and the ability to back up your assets to keep your wallet safe and ready for use whenever you want. But it has the possibility of unlimited transfer of cryptocurrencies, and this is definitely a risk in the event of a hack.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fastest cryptocurrency blockchain to make a token on: August 28, 2020, 09:03:47 AM
There are many competitors to the Ethereum network who are constantly developing their mechanisms and are looking at the weaknesses of Ethereum to exploit it as features in their networks such as: TRON, EOS, Waves.
EOS, for example, has fewer decentralized applications, but it has a faster conversion speed than Ethereum. In spite of that, I personally prefer the Ethereum network, as Ethereum was designed to receive DApps and even became a benchmark against it, and Ethereum is currently the king of smart contracts.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DEfi Hype Trends! This is not something you expect, go before you get stuck FOMO on: August 28, 2020, 08:48:47 AM
2020 will go down in crypto's history as the year of decentralized finance. Many projects that used the Defi concept have emerged, and with the passage of time, new decentralized financing projects will be launched that will enhance these protocols. Traders and investors are advised to conduct their own research because chasing the latest Defi project poses a great risk.
58  Economy / Economics / Re: I have discovered Something about covid 19 on: August 28, 2020, 07:16:26 AM
You are not the first, my friend, to suspect that the Corona virus is a lie and a game of governments. There, for example, in Germany, thousands protested about this issue, as some have exhausted themselves in research and investigation to prove that the Corona virus is nothing but a biological war launched by a superpower Others believe that there is a conspiracy theory about the existence of this virus, while others argue that there is an economic game led by great companies.
Unfortunately, all the data and numbers that come out to us daily indicate and confirm the existence of a real pandemic and we must confront it.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment plan on: August 28, 2020, 07:08:11 AM
I think it is a good list, although I do not like ripple very much and would like to exchange it for Litecoin. For me, investing in Bitcoin remains in the first place because it leads other cryptocurrencies, and I place Ethereum in second place because it is a strong network and many successful currencies were built on it, and in third place to put the Litecoin currency, it is today a new player and one of the cryptocurrencies that astonished the global economy with its capabilities And features.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust USDT? on: August 27, 2020, 05:27:33 PM
Of course I trust the Tether currency and it cannot be fraudulent, as USDT recorded a consistently high volume of trading and outperforms even Bitcoin. It is also considered among the most important currencies that traders resort to to keep the value of their crypto holdings, especially in cases of market downturn.
