what about the problem that exchanges could forge all blocks because of their high amount of transactions?
Well exchanges should get clients/scripts with poa inactive? Not active clients cannot generate blocks Amount of the transaction does not affect the POA Could you clarify this more? My understanding is the sending large amounts gives you a better chance to forge blocks. So an exchange that has many withdrawals/sends will have more chance of generating a block than almost anyone else, no? Even if it resets to zero after each block generated, it seems like exchanges will be highly favored to forge blocks. Eventually decentralized exchange could solve this? If we follow the basic rules, than yes, the exchanges will be in favor! So the PoA concept needs to be adjusted, with rule sets that will allow a better democracy! I think that exchanges should receive a stand-alone client without the poa rule in place, they primary goal is to assure that transactions are made, not to use the forging system to their profitable advantage! |

All blocks synced, maybe disconnected 2 or 3 times because I had to use the server for something else, but I've always synced it up again.
I also haven't able to forge a single block, NODE running 24x7 Have had my client running for almost 2 weeks straight now, still not forged a block with a full stake. What is going on?
Very strange! Are you using the windows wallet?? Sure am, v0.9 beta, cheers for the help. Is it all synced with the latest blocks? And no disconnection in the last few days?? All blocks synced, maybe disconnected 2 or 3 times because I had to use the server for something else, but I've always synced it up again. There were reports of peers not showing in the windows wallet, this could be the reason! But without an investigation it is just a guess! I will talk with the devs, on this matter! Also another explication could be the fact that they are setting the POA in place, and could probably mess something up!... Send me your IPs in a PM so we could research this error! Thanks |

Will I be forging if I just use my browser to login into http://<my_server>:19775 and then close my browser? What I am hopping is that one does not need to keep the browser open after the login to be eligible for forging. Thx You only need to log in, then you can close the browser Basically, the answer is yes! |

yes let's cheer up for nodecoin , unique base on node.js now very exciting Price falls every day. Devs have serious problems with this coin at the moment, early launch was terrible decision and yet they have just made Linux client, which aint gonna change the downfall. That is not True! There is no serious problem - that is not even a problem! Price fluctuates: up & down! And it is normal! After all, you don't go screaming that a coin has a serious problem when the price goes up!... I don't know if you noticed or not, but our team doesn't concentrate on the price value! Because at this point of development the value is something subjective! From an investors point of view the short term ROI, is a top priority especially if they are amateurs! But in our case, we aim for the Long Run! THis is something that we stated at the beginning, and that hasn't changed till now! So, i'm going to accept your opinion, and thank you for making your point! But next time be more considerate, and make a constructive criticism so it will help me, our team and the community. Otherwise stop spreading fud! |

yo! so i bet you guys noticed my absence in the last 3 days! Well the reason is simple: my mother-in-law visited! And as you already know (from your experience or anecdotes) that sucks! So i will blow off some steam with this inocentet MotherInLaw related joke: - I was out shopping the other day after a conference, when I saw six women beating my MotherInLaw up. At the end of this week the linux version will, be launched, and the APi will be published, so everyone will be able to contribute in their personal style! The PoA Engine is being developed from scratch, and as the Node scenario, it will take time to be made! Management, Marketing & PR or CR(Community relationship) should and won't be rushed! We will slowly get to that phase with a suitable plan and working medium, step by step! Rushing this part will bring only short term success - which isn't essential for a Payment Processing System! What do you mean by Open wallet?! Your wallet as well as the coins belong to you so you can do with them whatever you might want! If you are referring to your account from the spreadsheet as "open" than as long as nobody knows your passphrase, there is no need to worry about! |

Poloniex would be great, someone contact busoni  polo already demonstrated interest Koop4u needs to contact him and usually busoni wont hesitate to add promising coins. it will be hard to manipulate price if NODE is on more than 1 exchange. Already got in touch with them! Once i get more intel, i'll make it public! |
